8 years later and this tear-down was the only reference I could find to reassemble my LS-40. Thank you!

I play Tekken on Seimitsu LS-58. It's been pretty good for me since I got it two years ago. The problem I had that after using it for around a year for moderate gaming(i.e like play once a week for a few hours), the stick started bouncing around. For example when I did forward, neutral and do it fast it would go to the other direction. So on input display it would show f,b. I think this is understandable since the deadzone is very small, and the gaps between microswitches are smaller, making the stick more prone to the problem I mentioned before, when the spring has become more loose.
The solution, I just re-adjusted the spring. At first I made it more tensed, and after quite a while the problem happened for the second time, then I put in a new spring.

dam thats the only one i dont have LS-58 . i heard its similar to LS-56 . yeah i switched to seimitsu LS 32 from korean for tekken for almost 1 year just to test it and see how my speed would be after getting used to it and using it for along time . its ok , easier then sanwa , the shorter deadzone is nice and the corners are easier as well compared to korean . But overall for tekken and mishima's the fanta stick is easier / faster and feels more comfortable moving on . for me personally

ACXIAO666 Yes that's what I like from Seimitsu sticks. I play KOF occasionally and the smaller deadzone help me do those short hops.
But I have mix feelings for Seimitsu LS-58. I think it doesn't make wavedash easier. But the diagonals are easier to hit, so electrics are easier to do. After a while I get used to using the stick and I eventually play better with the Mishimas on LS-58.

andymrb cool , i dont know many people that use seimitsu for mishima's just 1 or 2 polish guys . have you tried octagonal gate for your LS-58 . i have LS-56 and funny enough the octagonal gate compared to playing on the sqaure gate . The corners and distance the stick travels to touch the microswitches are very small . It feels really nice but i think the stick being too close to the gate isnt a good thing

Hey sorry to bother you, but what size are the circlip pliers you're using here? I bought some circlip pliers, but they were too big for the ring, and I don't want to waste more money buying the wrong sized pliers. Thank you for your time

Hello, it is about the Joystick Seimitsu LS-32. It works
great but I have noticed that in the middle/center position there is
slack/looseness. I mean that the sitck moves without any effort just
    touching it.
It does not affect the performance but I want to know if it is normal in
these model of joystick or it is something that can be fixed.
    Thanks in advanced
Sorry for my english (I'm spanish)

I don't understand how to take the clip off, even after watching 3:56. Is it supposed to slide off the top? It's so hard to tell and my joystick's clip will not budge no matter what I try

I always thought Crowns with battops were considered the best for Tekken players. How do you WD with a balltop?

Tristan every player is different i guess and uses different techniques for wavedashing with Balltops . There's lots of videos on YT people showing their wd on balltop sticks . if you check this video here .ruclips.net/video/PVBNAWOqmgQ/видео.html .. i was using the old ps1 namco joystick for 1p wding oi59.tinypic.com/2cdbgjt.jpg
