I am so blown away by the absolute BEAUTY shown in this video.....in ALL of your videos! And the music!!!!! But this one made me especially emotional for some reason.........who of us would've known such a place existed if not for what you 2 capture for us???? I am humbled by the wonders you see and inspired to get out there and follow my own path one day SOON.....thanks to you guys!! Stay safe and thanks, as always, for including us on the journey! Blessings to y'all from New Braunfels, TX!!!!!
I've said it before, thank you for taking us along on your wonderful, scenic adventures and, I think there has to be a book in your future. Put me down for one! Keep the posts coming and be safe!
Aw gorgeous frank he’s an amazing dog, I do worry every time you go to a new place or you haven’t posted a video for a few days but that’s because I care about you, aw see you next time take care xx
Omgosh, finally reaching Patagonia is a dream realized for you two. Next step is reassessing safety, as in be careful with that knife around Allie's face and just being aware of everything. What a dream trip. Traveling to the end of the Americas with Allie (or with Trent for the women subscribers) and seeing all these amazing vistas. Al of us, on this end of the camera lens worry when we haven't seen or heard from you for a few days but enjoy the "down" time in Patagonia. Be safe and have fun.
I lived in southern Chile in the 80's (served a 2 year religious mission). I spent 6 months in Coyhaique and 6 months in Punta Arenas (on the straits of Magellen). You MUST spend time in both cities/regions. They are stunningly beautiful. Both are large cities with lots of grocery stores, but outlying areas with many spectacular sights to see. Have fun!
What a perfect place for kids to grow up.Your Friends' are very lucky to be blessed with such a clean part of the World. The Blue skies are so amazing down South!
Allie, you had a bead on that knife Trent was wielding, didn'tcha?! 😂😂🤣🤣 I feel you! I noticed Trent talks alot with his hand. It had me a bit concerned too! Trent!!!! Put the knife down! 🤣🤣🤣😂😂😂 ❤ you guys!!
I drove all those roads ...awwww....lived in that area for 10 years. This is so wonderful. Ushuaia is in the argentinian side in Tierra del Fuego. Depending on the weather it can take one to two hours crossing the Magellan Strait from Punta Arenas. I used to go to a place called Primera Angostura and cross from there...only 30 minutes navigation. Are you going to Torres del Paine? Big hug guys...you bring many memories back to my life!!!!
Isa Ma I went on the ferry between Punta Arenas and Porvenir a couple of times. You’re right, 1-2 hours by my memory. Once there were pretty big waves and I got sick. No fun! But Trent and Allie will find that the geography and climate of Coyhaique and Punta Arenas regions are similar to Utah (where I think Trent is from).
I'm from Chile, there are plenty of supermarkets, gas stations, ATM's and grocery stores along the Carretera Austral and in general in the entire south of Chile, some things are cheap but most things are not, and you will have cellphone signal and internet along most of your travel. Take care of make reservations in advance for the ferrys, usually in our summer there's long wait lines. Carretera Austral ends up in Villa O'Higgins but you have plenty of south yet to go along to almost close to Antarctica. You shouldn't miss Chiloé either, after you continue the road and further south you have Torres del Paine and a lot of lakes and glaciers that totally worth the shot. I've been there several times and there's always something that make me wanna go back. Good luck!
Love you guy's and your videos.....Amazing! I wanted to tell y'all something that I've learned being married to a Tex/Mexican man. Always a treat to see you guys on my commute home on the bus. You guys are amazing and hoping our paths cross one day. May the Forcé be with you Always
I am looking forward to see this area. It is a bit unknown area and I didn’t know it existed like that. The funny part is that some of the sceneries reminds me a bit about Northern Norway, however a bit more threes.
Frank is so stinkin' precious!! I would wear his t-shirt, and tell everyone that he is my Ginger's crush!!!! Ding dang it. I have missed the Four Sigmatic's BIG WINTER SALE. It doesn't pay to miss a video. I have been missing it all! Hopefully, I won't miss it anymore. ~Happy Trails~Love & Peace~God Bless you three~
You guys are doing what I did when I was young like yourselves. I loved traveling all the time like how your doing. You will be so happy when you settle down and have kids lol if that is what you choose. You will not regret this experience. Have a blast!! Be safe!!! Love your videos!!! 😁👍🙋♥️♥️
you palsy make your video's fun and fascinating to watch. although I should not be surprised, I wasn't expecting the architecture of the homes and buildings in Patagonia to look that way. continued safe travels
“If he can make it we can make it!!!”.. and you’re making it! Looks absolutely beautiful… Continue to enjoy! ❤️ from Philly… The city of brotherly/sisterly Love… we have the iconic Robert Indiana “LOVE“ sculpture in the very center… In “LOVE Park”…
Lol Trent and my hubby must be related somehow!!! Don't know how many times I've spent a conversation watching his knife! Love, love, love your videos. Thanks for sharing your journey and the wonderful scenic videography as well as the fun you two have along the way!
I just love your videos and I love you guys too❤️🥰. I’ve been watching your videos for over a year now. Looking forward to your next one. I hope we don’t have to wait a long time but I’m sure we all understand what having bad or no WiFi is like. Stay safe and I’ll see you in the next video. 😊
I knew one of the family who built rail rider cars and peddled through Patagonia on old railroad tracks. 10 years ago. They have put their vids on YT. Went through some villages that have not seen outsiders for decades. Trent’s like pay her. I agree.
Worlds best fly fishing in my opinion. You're there you have equipment, make sure you fish, if not you might regret it for a long time. Not many can say they fly fished Patagonia, don't miss it if possible, filming it would be awesome.
Great video! I wouldnt even mind being stuck there for a couple of days. It looks beautiful. Frank is such a good dog you are lucky to have such a wonderful little family. 🐾💗
Yeah I'm with Tammy , You two need to adventure Europe and Africa.... Also , none of the bloggers seem to hit Asia.... Im not sure why but that would be a killer place to see also.... Love seeing your day to day adventures. You are not allowed to stop !
I can smell it! Patagonia, we have arrived... but....the goal, the MAIN GOAL The “ End of the World” a.k.a Ushuaia..,Yeah Baby! I’ve been waiting for this for many many MANY moons... Now it’s just down the road... I couldn’t get home fast enough to watch what I call “today’s travels with my friends”. I was at work and I quicky glanced at youtube, saw “We made it to Patagonia” and I freakn freaked the freak out! I am telling you, I seriously couldn’t wait to get home, turn youtube on and focus on your vlog. We are almost there... my dream of looking at the Southern most point of S.A. my childhood dream. And i love my dream through you, your photography/videography, story telling, picturesque descriptions, love, happy life and beautiful people and amazing planet we love in for such a short time. I love you guys. We are almost there you guys., and then what? Please keep exploring. We have to get back, right? Lets enjoy The NOW for now. All my love and admiration Your friend Jen Jen
Trent and Allie MY SUPER STARS..My hat is OFF to you both..Great job....enjoyed all the footage and I know you guys are truly BLESSED. Kids are OVER RATED don't fool yourself and ever settle down..KEEP ON TRUCKING. With GOD'S Speed anything is possible.
I follow on YT a French family of 5 who is coming back from Ushuaia in a normal motorhome and they were ok, lots of potholes and some scary drops on the side of some roads but I guess if it’s ok for them, it should be ok for you. Just be careful if you cross borders, the officials took all of their fresh products and some cereals as well so don’t do too much grocery shopping before crossing but I’m sure you know it already. Looking forward watching you doing this trip because the landscape is amazing and really different 😄
You guys are by far the best van life couple to watch. If I can only convince my girlfriend to embark on journey like that. I had no idea what Patagonia was. Looks beautiful. Can’t wait until the end. Plans after Ushuaia?
Breaks and down time mean more Frank video, just going to put that out there. I know back home we had to make reservation for summer carry trips months in advance. So you're lucky in a way, but be timely as snow will come up faster than you'd think.
It's always sad to say goodbye.😞 Frank!😍that pose looking back so adorable. My husband is a tipper too. Teenagers at the fastfood resturants coming running when they see him. But I have to admit our meals are looking alot better when we open that bag 😁👍 I'm really loving the music you've be playing too. Hope you two have a very special and romantic Valentines Day. Love y'all😘💞🐾💓💘💗💑💗
Even though you guys aren't still travelling with The Nomadic Movement, I still think of them when I watch you & vice versa. So neat that you guys are seeing all these new places & taking us along, & its so neat that the Nomadic Movement has found their little paradise & are settling there.
Once you 2 /3 get down to Patagonia, please stop in to Puerto Natales. My brother opened a brewery/restaurant there in 2006. Baguales was one the first microbrewery in all of Chile. He is living and working there full time. He rode down from Los Angeles on a Honda Africa twin motorcycle. Mention my name and you will get the VIP treatment. He can assist you as with suggestions as well, for your further travels. He name is Chad Horton (AKA, annoying little brother)
@@TrentandAllie He has been recently filming for the Chilean tourist board. They find his life travels so amazing that the want to promote others to do the same. By the way, you 2/3 have inspired me so much, that I am leaving England to start a nomadic life in Australia. Cheers, keep up the good work!
Yeah, you should have bought the tickets in advance and taken 4-5 days to see the beautiful sites and cities between Pucon and Puerto Montt. I loved: Valdivia, Puerto Varas, Isla Grande de Chiloe, Frutillar.
That is a fantastic road.... it will get narlyier and steeper the further south you go. I cannot wait for your next episode it is like a journey down memory lane to watch this! Don't worry too much about food, you will find places to buy food all the way (not big supermarkets though). Coyhaique and Cochrane are good sized towns. As we cycled this we never got stuck at a ferry crossing (2015/16). You will love this road, if you can, do not miss Lago Tranquilo and take the boat ride out to the marble caves if you have time. Look at photos on the net and you will see why. And the Rio Baker is the most outrageous colour of turquoise, don't miss that either. The paved road was being extended while we were there, so maybe you will not have too much gravel road now? The Carretera Austral is an epic bicycle ride, and we it did coming from the south pushing our bikes from Lago Desierto to the estancia of Candelario Mancilla on the shores of Lago O’Higgins (you will end here (on the Chilean side) I think, as the rest is only accessible by foot and by bike!) the Carretera ends at Lago O'Higgins. I liked the boat trip out to O' Higgins glacier, much more remote than Moreno, and the whiskey served with ancient glacial ice is a suitable tipple for the occasion (served on the boat). We also found plenty of re-sup shops along the way for veggies. I am sure you have done all your research but you can read our blog if it helps, it is quite detailed on all that we saw, where we camped and re-supped, mishaps etc. There are lots of places to wild camp, ok so we were in a tiny tent, but even so there are plenty of places for your van - from memory. I am new to your channel thanks for sharing your journey. graydonstravels.blogspot.com/2016/02/a-delightful-ramble-along-southern.html.
What a gorgeous spot to be stranded in! You should try the game of 'geocaching' which is a cool way to spend some time and discover neat locations! The first thing I said to hubby was, " I bet there are a few geocaches to find there!" Our local friend was on the 'Alone' reality show in Patagonia and the weather changed frequently and dramatically so prepare yourself...just a small cost of the beauty though😉 safe travels you 3!!
Megan, a 'Biologist', forester, mom, wife, from small town Port McNeill on Vancouver Island in BC, Canada. She didn't win the cash but she lasted a long time. It was pretty cool to watch her and listen to her talk about the experiences when she got home!!
I love the whole time Trent is waiving the knife & talking you can just see Allie so focused on that knife & trying not to react...that’s a real life couple right there😊
Not a bad place to "get stuck" Lol, surely you’ll find something to do as you always do, hey, one thing came to mind, why not get dodge to sponsor your promaster? You’re making them look really good, every time I see one of those around town guess who comes to mind? Trent&Allie 😎 love all your videos guys, I hope you keep doing them for much longer..
You guys are fabulous and I just want to let you know I enjoy watching your shows I look forward to them every day although I get to watch a new one every other day it’s great though be careful stay safe and God bless you
omg! I CLICK your videos so fast I'm not even prepared to watch them yet. Love watching and experiencing this with you guys! I have a question and excuse me if its been asked already bc I do not read other comments. What happens after you guys make it to your destination? Since you are almost there are you going to share that plan? Is it a surprise?
What you paid for the first ferry was okay, Allie read the normal car price tickets and in the same poster was written 13.600 for vans (furgón), south people is very honest so don't worry :) Enjoy the carretera austral guys!! It's one of the jewels of sudamerica
I drove the AL-Can (Alaska Canadian Highway) about 30 years ago. Those roads are currently better than the AL-Can was. I hope your luck holds and your travel is smooth. Patagonia does remind me of Alaska. Pretty mountains.
Bon voyage for tomorrow. It is Wednesday night time here now, so maybe with all the time warp Siri says it’s -7 hrs Alexa says +6 so it’s anyone’s guess but I really hope you have an awesome ferry ride.
I wish at the end of your trip you can go back to Chile and visit so man6 places you.missed such as: villa rica,Osorno, huilo huilo, puerto varas, frutillar,,chillan ,torres de Paine,Valparaiso viña Del Mar...etc etc
Opposites attract. Who said, " It's sunny it's bright, ... and you can see some of these mountains...stunning" and who said, " however that's rain, That's rain"? LOL You guys crackme up. Almost every conversation you have goes like that. Much love.
You don't need to run to arrive early in Ushuaia to scape from the snow... the winter is taking too long to start nowadays! Try to go to Villa O'Rings before cross the border to Argentina! Go all the Carretera!
Trent and Allie:P Take some time to appreciate just how far south you are. Just about as south as you can go without going to Antarctica. Notice how water circles around the drain in the opposite direction to how it goes above the equator. Hoping to get down that way sometime. Thanks for giving us all a little taste of what it's like. Thousands of folks out here living vicariously through you two. Looks a whole lot more fun than stripping wax off the kitchen floor, which is what I'm doing right now.
Meeting up with old friends is the best ever!!! Frank needs more camera time... his eyes tell some great stories. His mood is a strong reflection of how the van life truely is!!! I'm enjoying the trip!!! Steaks & broccoli ... living high off that cow!!! Good on ya!!! As you take a moment enjoying the country's views, take an extra moment to thank God for His blessings!!! "Happy Cruising" to ya both, w w
While you wait for the ferry could you talk about your film making. Cameras, editing we would love to know how you make your great movies. I started 60 years ago 35mm clockwork Newman editing with scissors. You 3 are great
If you keep having problems with the ferry you might just want to see if you can cross over to the border with Argentina and go back and forth. We had a friend who did that but it would be as a last option. I believe the Chilean side is a lot prettier.
I've backpacked the "circuit" at Torres del Paine a few years ago. If you get a chance get out there and get out of the van and hike! IT'S BEAUTIFUL!!!
My parents took me to this part of the world in 1965, and I still think it's one of the prettiest places on the planet, despite a lifetime of travel. I'm so happy you're there, and that it hasn't been overdeveloped. Thanks so much!

So so so beautiful. I'm glad you two made it. I'm loving this!
Glad you’re following along dude!!
I agree.
Great video. Excellent drone footage, and I can't wait for more. Safe travels!!
Worlds best fly fishing in my opinion. You're there you have equipment, make sure you fish, if not you might regret it for a long time. Not many can say they fly fished Patagonia, don't miss it if possible, filming it would be awesome.
Glad you got to kick back for a few days!! Frank loved running around.💖😘🐕
All my love and admiration

We love you too Jen Jen and we are so happy you’ve been with us for so long!! Before we even left the states!! You’re a real OG 😎
Punta Arenas, Chile on the Strait of Magellan has about 127,000 people, and is one of the most populous sites that far south in the world.
Ahhh Trent! I am with you Bud!
Sometimes these things happen for a reason....love your videos!!!
You guys are by far the best van life couple to watch. If I can only convince my girlfriend to embark on journey like that. I had no idea what Patagonia was. Looks beautiful. Can’t wait until the end. Plans after Ushuaia?
The adventure always continues with you two. If you check in later with the building of your home......it still takes you back to the beginning.....❤🌻
But I have to admit our meals are looking alot better when we open that bag 😁👍
I'm really loving the music you've be playing too. Hope you two have a very special and romantic Valentines Day. Love y'all😘💞🐾💓💘💗💑💗
oh my gosh the shot of ur pup♥️♥️♥️
ROFL! The If He Can Make It theory is one adventurous way to live life! Absolutely love it
Even though you guys aren't still travelling with The Nomadic Movement, I still think of them when I watch you & vice versa.
We will try to find Chad!!!
@@TrentandAllie He has been recently filming for the Chilean tourist board. They find his life travels so amazing that the want to promote others to do the same. By the way, you 2/3 have inspired me so much, that I am leaving England to start a nomadic life in Australia. Cheers, keep up the good work!
so much beautiful country wow. kinda like east coast Canada or west coast but what ever its amazing!
Enjoying the journey is something the best part. Be safe. Love you guys.
The Patagonia adventure started almost straight away, ... always wanted/want to go there. Ty for the videos. ☕️
Yeah, you should have bought the tickets in advance and taken 4-5 days to see the beautiful sites and cities between Pucon and Puerto Montt. I loved: Valdivia, Puerto Varas, Isla Grande de Chiloe, Frutillar.
Imagine driving so far south that it’s cold again! So neat!
Amazing views. You are living the experience of a lifetime! Enjoy the down time and make the memories.
Beautiful scenery and love the music with the video, very fitting! ❤️
Thanks for all the info!! We really appreciate it 😊
How beautiful!
Two thumbs up! The bottom of the earth!!!!!!! It is on my bucket list.
That’s awesome!! Who was your friend? We watched all the alones!!!
Megan, a 'Biologist', forester, mom, wife, from small town Port McNeill on Vancouver Island in BC, Canada. She didn't win the cash but she lasted a long time. It was pretty cool to watch her and listen to her talk about the experiences when she got home!!
That’s awesome!! I would love to go on that show! I would lose but I would enjoy trying haha
I live the van life threw you guys ! I’m so happy to have come across your page 😍 be safe and keep them videos coming 😌
That’s a beautiful sweater Allie!
I love the whole time Trent is waiving the knife & talking you can just see Allie so focused on that knife & trying not to react...that’s a real life couple right there😊
Well it's really Beautiful there .So I'm sure u guys can do some exploring while you wait .Have fun...💜💜💙
It’s a surprise 😊
What you paid for the first ferry was okay, Allie read the normal car price tickets and in the same poster was written 13.600 for vans (furgón), south people is very honest so don't worry :) Enjoy the carretera austral guys!! It's one of the jewels of sudamerica
between Norally, Sara&Luca, an u guys eye will hav seen soooo much of Patagonia. luvu guys, b safe!
✌😘
It has been awesome watching your trip
Thanks for watching Barbara 😊
Trent and Allie’s face when they go some where new priceless.
getting awfully excited! can'y wait to see the end of the road heading south..great video
I drove the AL-Can (Alaska Canadian Highway) about 30 years ago. Those roads are currently better than the AL-Can was. I hope your luck holds and your travel is smooth. Patagonia does remind me of Alaska. Pretty mountains.
Allie, Where did you get that sweater? It is so beautiful! Have FUN!!!! Kara
At a mercado.
Love the video. Look forward to traveling to Patagonia one day. It looks amazing.
Bon voyage for tomorrow. It is Wednesday night time here now, so maybe with all the time warp Siri says it’s -7 hrs Alexa says +6 so it’s anyone’s guess but I really hope you have an awesome ferry ride.
The scenery was phenominal as well as the music !!!! Love it.
I need a T-shirt with a picture of Frank! ❤️. He’s so cute!
Great idea!!! I would buy one!🐕🐕🐕🐕🐕
Agreed
I wish at the end of your trip you can go back to Chile and visit so man6 places you.missed such as: villa rica,Osorno, huilo huilo, puerto varas, frutillar,,chillan ,torres de Paine,Valparaiso viña Del Mar...etc etc
Another day!!
Beautiful footage. Samauri van dweller sized sword and the defensive moves of the onna-bugeisha....
Allie : hey Frank, can you please get down.....
Frank: whut ,,,,
Trent: OFF
Frank: Sir, yes Sir
Opposites attract. Who said, " It's sunny it's bright, ... and you can see some of these mountains...stunning" and who said, " however that's rain, That's rain"? LOL You guys crackme up. Almost every conversation you have goes like that. Much love.
We loved cruising south from Puerto Montt to Ushaia. Very scenic!
Thanks Amy you’re right. We are impressed with how far we’ve come 😊
I always love watching how you stock up and then see only two or three bags. I end up with a cart full! (Five adults vs. Two.).
Haha we don’t have much stowage space
"Carretera Austral" Chile very very beautiful. Thank you very very much for this video👍👍👍
Have Fun . Stay safe
Beautiful!
You both Rock have a safe and wonderful trip I hope it's everything you want it to be
how wonderful !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
While you wait for the ferry could you talk about your film making. Cameras, editing we would love to know how you make your great movies. I started 60 years ago 35mm clockwork Newman editing with scissors. You 3 are great
Film is easier manipulated now a days that’s for sure, we list all our camera gear in the description and we use adobe premier pro for editing 😊
If you keep having problems with the ferry you might just want to see if you can cross over to the border with Argentina and go back and forth. We had a friend who did that but it would be as a last option. I believe the Chilean side is a lot prettier.
The Mountain, the water, I just love it. 💞
That looks like a beautiful part of the world! Your drone took some beautiful footage! Have fun & stay safe❣️🙏🏼🙏🏼
😊
I've backpacked the "circuit" at Torres del Paine a few years ago. If you get a chance get out there and get out of the van and hike! IT'S BEAUTIFUL!!!
