I knew it!!!!!!! In the middle of the video i thought I saw a truck that looked like there's parked and said to myself, " watch them come out in this video" !!!! My two favorite vanlifers together!!! Nothing like four paw drive to get up a mountain! Committing to a six-hour boat ride when you suffer from motion sickness takes courage and determination. I'm glad you were rewarded with a great experience. Oh, and oatmeal is just the foundation for raisins, honey, and cinnamon.
Savory oatmeal is not bad either- two fried eggs and chives...and bit of sausage for the carnivores.

Love that you guys are such a great partnership. You both share in all the ups and downs and daily things in life. Trent carried the pack at the beginning of the day but when you got back to the van, Allie was carrying it. Minor things add up to make a willing working team. At 21:05 Allie puts things into great perspective when she says "it's definitely been a day of gratitude" . Keep on keeping on. travel safe and enjoy our world and each other.

If I have oatmeal for breakfast, I always have eggs or Greek yogurt as well, for the protein. The oatmeal alone doesn’t stay with you, and that’s why you get hungry an hour later.

You know I really needed this video as Allie’s smile is infectious. Also the look on your face Trent when you saw the pastry carousel was priceless. Tried shopping today for TP, gloves, wipes and paper towels--- nothing. Also no bread, milk, canned meat, rice, hot or cold cereal. The shelves are bare in Costco, Trader Joe’s, Everywhere is out of all staples because of the corona virus. Enjoy all the food and the nature, it helps to feed my soul.
I'm from Brazil and we just got the news that Argentina has shut down all country borders (air, land, and sea) for the next 15 days. So, ... look at the bright side... enjoy Patagonia.

First, congratulations on your adventurous achievement! I’ve been along for the ride since you left the states. It is one thing to be a tourist but quite another to engage the local communities and discover their wonderful contributions to our planet. You two are amazing ambassadors for our country, which is something we certainly can use at this moment in time. Allie’s excitement for life and thrill of discovery are attributes that could probably translate well to professional work in media back home. Trent’s love of pastry may also translate someday into something much bigger. Kidding! His explanations about the local history and cultures are always something to look for in a great teacher. I admire both of you for your courage and perseverance. I also want to mention that I greatly enjoy the voice over travelogues. I wish we had more of those at the beginning of your trip, but your production growth is obvious. There are times when you admired the view or expressed concern about the route and I found myself saying to the monitor, “Pan the camera! Tilt the camera! Show and tell!” We can hear your voice and understand the emotion, but point the camera at what you’re seeing. We don’t need to see you when something is going on off camera that amazes you. You can still speak about it in the moment. There are positions to make with the mic that will facilitate that. If you show it later with music, we lose the explanation and thus there’s disconnected content. Consider that moving forward. I can’t wait to see what the future holds for you two and where the road unwinds. You both make our lives better! And one last point for Trent: It’s, “Allie and I,” when you two are the subject. Safe travels!

Allie! Word to the wise: regarding seasickness, an easy, quick fix always is to keep your eyes glued to the horizon. While this certainly is a pain on a long voyage, if you can manage it, you'll be totally fine. I'm serious, nothing works faster than just keeping your eyes glued on the horizon, and if you have to go down below or to the ladies room, you simply imagined an artificial horizon in front of you and keep your eyes level in front of you. Works like a charm!

Trent sees pastries and totally loses it, eyebrows raised, “They must have known I was coming.” I always love when Frank gets out I use to cry it hurt soo bad to leave my pet by himself to go to work I gave him to some kids who loved him very much and was always there to look out for him, it pained me to leave him alone all day. What a Journey! 9:00 The color of water is mainly effected by the color and the kind of rock/sand on the bottom. Light sand/rocks for example creates this kind of water - like we also see in the Caribbean - and darker, muddier sand gives us the 'dark'' water we see in most rivers and lakes. Quality of the water doesn't really matter.

I took the cruise that rounds the horn. It goes to Ushuaia and Puerto Arenas. We stopped in the Falklands where emperor penguins live. It is a journey I'll never forget. Patagonia lives up to it's legend, What a beautiful trip. Now you know what all that driving was for.

i can imagine the price of second hand vans rising because people are wanting a holiday..they want to convert and cruise..but corona is gonna wipe out most of ths years travel plans for most people..the panic buying of toilet roll and sanitiser continues..which is just stupid.

Patagonia is beautiful, worthy of my bucket list. Don't come home, keep exploring, and have fun. I don't know about other parts of the US but Baltimore just closed the schools for 2 weeks. I am afraid that everything I want to see out west is going to be closed when I expect to start traveling (April 15th) -- such a bummer. Trent, let me know what you hear about Utah ... kisses to Frank --- love that dog!
