A really big misconceptions with these titles, it’s not really blue.
"I didn't like you doing that..." 🤣
Haha! Nobody should grab a person's banana like that!
Lmao that made me laugh too
I felt that

@@WhatPlantisthatPaul My reaction was the same 😂😂
I like how he said he didn’t like him taking a chunk of banana without asking. I’ve had people grab pieces of my food without asking and it’s so rude.
Tinker Bell I agree, but he’s my friend and editor. Next time I’ll just stay farther back and out of reach!
Obviously, he is comfortable enough with his friend to do that. In Africa and other parts of the world, it is ok.
@@WindDancer435 he clearly said he DIDNT like that and u can hear in his accent he’s probably not from Africa
@@kt9207 I didn't say he was from Africa, lol and yes, I did hear him say he didn't like that. I meant that the editor felt comfortable enough with his friend to just grab the food. I didn't mean the dude with the food was comfortable with it. As far as the Africa comment, I was just pointing out how different cultures view behavior like that. Most of us do find it rude!
I’m your 69’th like.
I cannot stop laughing at how he grabbed that mushy banana chunk with zero tact. And how sweetly you forgave him and responded to the comments!!
You can't go around pointing your mushy banana at people and not expect a few of them to give it a squeeze. It's only human.
In Java they call it pisang kepok (kepok banana). They eat them raw, cover them in flour and fry in boiled oil, or roast them and eat them with cheese.
That sounds wonderful! Do they fry them when still greenish blue?
Greenish blue is too raw. Mostly when they start to get yellowish green.
Here are some recipes:

I remember growing up in Jamaica we had lots of thus type of bananas. They taste super nice when it's fried too
That is awesome! I'd like to try them fried :)
Jamaica does not grow this type of banana. We never did.

Wow that’s awesome! Apple banana
Yes grow them! 🍌
Garden Center Warrior What a Fruit! After tasting a few more of the bunch, I think it tastes similar to our common bananas in the store but creamier with a hint of vanilla. The next one to ripen will spend an hour or 2 in the fridge.... I think they will taste even better chilled. Thanks for the comment and support 😀
I was watching this vedio sitting in my room and then rushed down stairs to grab a banana and eat it 😂
Haha! I could eat this everyday. Hopefully our pup he gave us thrive. Thanks for watching.
I wouldnt want someone doing that to my banana either. He probably thought he could break off the tip and instead his fingers just collapsed into it.
Sharing is caring.
i think he thought you were offering him a piece since you were holding it out like that for a bit. even though you were just giving a close up.
Nice perspective... I didn't think of that... I should have offered him a piece.
here we have some bananas called "guineos manzanos"(apple bananas), they are short and chubby like those, but the skin is thinner, and they are very fragrant, and the taste is so much better than other varieties.....i still need to try that blue java.....the texture of the apple bananas is better, slightly firmer than that one looked.
Thanks for sharing!! I'd like to try that banana too someday. I really like the flavor and texture of the Blue Java... It's my favorite banana that I've tasted so far.
@@WhatPlantisthatPaul
i've been looking for blue java bananas for months.....but all i've found online are ridiculously overpriced tiny plants. i feel raped just thinking about paying the equivalent of 60-90usd for a tiny, undeveloped banana plant that has a high chance of dying on its way here.
Where is here ? ? ?

i think one of my dad’s friends have those growing in their backyard. they’re sweet and thick and pretty good. they’re a little like plantains i guess

Wow thats amazing. Im on a mission in life to find these.
@@killaskrilla5320 Hi Which City/Country are you in?
I like how he adressed that he didnt like him doing that (taking bite of the banana). More people should set up their boundaries so we could learn about each other and change the world slowly. Because there is still to much of a mindset that, if you say something like that, that you are not friendly, you will hurt others feeling, but it is not. It is just a start up for a better comunication and consent.
Thanks!
He just wanted banana bruh 😢

It's a wonderful banana and I recommend it. Thanks for watching.
It seems to be be so hard to find these to buy in Australia. Can I even legally buy and grow these in Australia? I’ve always wanted to.
I think a lot of these for sale are a different banana. This plant is unique compared to others I have seen for Sale...
Why did that dude just grab the banana like that
Haha. He couldn’t resist!
How long does this variety take for it to flower from a sucker plant
Under the right conditions, 3-5 years in San Diego is my guess. The one I got last fall was about 2 feet and has already grown a foot this season.
That's called Moco in my country and we fry them.
That sounds like a nice way to eat this fruit!
@Quarantine Covid19 That is very true... This banana tastes nothing like a booger, so that is plus :)
How can i Buy that plant?

First time seeing this... I wanna taste it now ☺️😁

About 2-3 years from a pup in our climate.

Is it simipar to plantain?
If you harvest it when blue/green. It is eaten fried. If you wait until they are ripe like the one we tasted, it's very sweet with a smooth and creamy texture.

Blue java bananas do not have seeds inside, never buy seeds online cause those people selling blue java banana seeds are fake seeds and they’re scammers

I would really like to try these bananas some day. What do they taste like to you? I've heard they taste like vanilla ice cream.
So they are blue while young, and later they become yellow as they ripen?
They are most blue when very young, mature to the blue green you see in the video at around 6 months, and then turn yellow around 1 year after flowering in San Diego, CA.
@@WhatPlantisthatPaul Great!!! Thanks for info. By the way, do they have seeds? If not, they how do people plant them? I have seen Chinese guys selling them online, but I don't really trust the source , since too many fraud in this sector.
