    That bench is built very well and heavy duty. Anthony you are so amazing when you build anything and everything. Your math is always math’n. You know exactly what you want to do and never need to recalculate. We think Anthony and Rox are a great team and humble.

    Instead of hooks for holding hanging pots have you considered a metal pole or clothesline running from end to end. Then you can slide the pots back and forth or use the racks from the dollar tree to hang on them and store plant food and stuff or dry out veggies

    🤠 Neighbor just got done constructing his wife a green house, similar to yours, tad bit bigger, he made it three teared, second teir was half the width, she's a tad bit taller, so she put a lot of her small starters on top shelf, then would set them down on a lower to tend them, they put a door at each end to get cross breeze, also had thermostat fans (They have a landscaping business) You'll absolutely love it, esp if you can sneak into it to warm up in the winter 🤠

    Anthony and Roxanne, it came out so beautifully. Suggestion. You can keep your special dirt on the floor rather than blocking the beautiful windows, but thats just me. You are so talented Anthony

    My goodness, I'd have to say that if I ever wanted a greenhouse built with benches and everything included, I'd have to hire Anthony to do it. I would trust that greenhouse to stay up for many many years. Unlike a lot of these that you can just go buy and put up in your yard....What a craftsman you are Anthony, I do believe in so many ways, Roxanne hit the jackpot with you. But on another note, you did with her as well. You two just fit like a well oiled machine. I am envious for sure! I love everything about your homestead and only wish I could afford to do something like that for myself, my 16 year old autistic son and my mother. But unfortunately we have passed the stages of being able to maintain such a space, but the thought is sure nice. Thank you for sharing all these steps with us and looking forward to more to come. God Bless ya!

  • @chrissyfrancis8952

    Rabbit hutch wiring on top of a few 2x4s would make a really good draining area. You’ll be using drain pans I’m sure under the pots or you’ll have a mess. But the mesh top would also let loose dirt fall thru too. I’ve been gardening for about 30 years, just sharing some ideas from what I’ve learned along the way. It’s much easier to sweep up underneath the benches if it can fall straight thru. I still think you’re gonna need hatches on the roof on both sides for ventilation. Heat rises. The windows will provide some ventilation, but when there’s too much heat cooking your plants it’ll need to escape through the roof. That’s why most big greenhouse operations have big fans ceiling height blowing from front to back. You see just how hot it is.

    A little late, but you could’ve cut a couple of panels out, one on each side, where the windows are going, and just taped them back in when you were finished working. 🤷🏻‍♂️

  • @helenmeyer8343
    @helenmeyer8343 3 месяца назад

    Looks great and the perfect height, even for me. I had a greenhouse but from Harbor Freight. Get a little wind and the panels would come out. I would have made part of one of those great benches closed to hold potting soil. Just the end or the middle part. I am sure you have that all figured out. Lucky you Roxy, to have such a talented and willing hubby.

    Lilly looks cute straddled out napping in the sun.. the greenhouse is awesome.. the bench will make potting seeds etc so much easier..and makes it not dirty up the house.. another plus is everything is there in one place and you don’t have to move it around out of the way..Are you going to put a sunscreen/shade that you can pull over the roof if the sunlight/ heat gets too intense? You’re not short Roxanne.. you’re just closer to the ground than some folks 😁Will you be putting some fans in the greenhouse? I know lot’s of people put exhaust fans in them.. otherwise wouldn’t it get too hot for the plants and you too? Maybe solar..

    Rox, here's a idea under one bench leave space for 2 large plastic trashcans to be under counter. And over fop of trash cans in counter tops cut large holes. Now you have trashcan s to hold. Potting soil and fertilizer. Then add scoops and your set to go. Maybe use trashcan lids on top of holes, or wood lids from cut outs. Looking great.

  • @gardnerwilson57
    @gardnerwilson57 3 месяца назад

    When watching the last part of putting that first bench together you could see how precise your measurements and cuts
    were by how tight it was to get the top on. No slack in any of the connections so much so that you had to finally tap the
    finished part with a hammer. That's good workmanship Anthony. I have a decent imagination and I could see in my head
    what that is going to look like because of how you explained your vision in the video clip. It's going to look fantastic!!! .....
    I do believe it will be better, easier, and simpler if you stay away from those fancy angled cuts in the corners. Keeping
    it looking like a indoor gardening bench you know K-I-S-S keep it simple saints. Trying to overdo it will make it look very
    clunky and out of place.
    I hope your design will include some very much needed drawers to keep small hand tools, gardening gloves, pruning
    tape ect ect. maybe extra packets of opened seeds because all ladies like having at least one catch-all drawer. Other than
    that I will say that I want one like that in my back yard. Looking good! Me southern AZ.

    You need two vent windows on the sides and a greenhouse fan. Roxanne, do a section on your bench with hardware cloth ( same as you did in bottom of rabbit cage) so dirt can fall thru to a dirt bin, it will keep your floors clean, because the dirt as your potting things will not end up falling on the floor

    Could you run an extension cord and put a fan in the greenhouse? Or battery operated fan? It would be healthier for y’all .

    I had a big old milk can & put all the garden tools in it. I put all the handles in the jug so you could see what you needed hanging out. 😊🇨🇦
