Thanks for this video. I've just fitted a pipercross filter instead of the original and managed to change it in 15 minutes thanks to your video

Be careful with the clips on the sides of the air box. I got the clips off one side and was a tad too aggressive in doing so and it swung back and snapped one of the clips on the other side. If this happens, a second hand airbox from eBay will only set you back £35 (no way of clamping it for an epoxy glue-up job, due to the angle). Not a mistake I'll be repeating 😂 Thanks for the guidance sir, much appreciated!

The MANN air filter I bought for my 2.0 TDI does not have the round areas for screws, does this mean I could just un-clip mthe box without doing the 2 screws?

Ok never mind it looks like mine has 8 screws to the side of the air filter box making it easier to lose screws, so I'll be using a magnetic screw driver for sure

@@pow1983 Yup a different and much better designed air filter box than the 1.4 TSI!

Depends on your country. Here in the UK, Skoda UK recommend its changed every 6 years or 60k miles. LOL!? Way too long in my opinion.
