I have an AI prime for my reef Casa 🥰 gonna pick up a Sicce syncra silent when it arrives too (will keep the original pump as a spare coz it will need an adapter Ca-Au plug) I have rock that I’m playing with building atm, will pick up some sand when the rock is in the tank and ready…. I still gotta get some test kits but will get them when I get water for it… still time to get stuff, but got enough for now, pretty sure tank will be here at home in a week or 2, maybe 3 coz of the time of year 😬🥰 soon JakeDoggs reef will be up and running ❤️❤️ RIP JakeDogg ❤️
I want to keep a yellow clown goby and a cleaner shrimp, maybe a dragonet or pipefish, still unsure of stocking, but the yellow clown goby I’ve read great things about them having personality and fairly easy to care for, plus they’re small, reef safe and yellow is a great colour to go against my coral choices of acans and blastos 😉🥰…. Oh and my aquascape will be 2 islands to impress March, and hopefully the aquascape will impress Tia, coz if I can make fragbox impressed I will be happy ❤️🥰🍻
Advice needed I am cycling a 65L nano tank (1 week in) just live sand and rock my alkalinity is super high I read to add distilled vinegar should I do this? Also total hardness (GH) is very high too. NB I haven’t done a water change yet! Thank you
One thing I’ll say for the AquaForest Rock. It is lighter by size. So like their 10kg box would probably be more rock than needed for that cube. But, they also put to many foundation pieces (imo) in the box.
Imho ato's for nano tanks suck, because when your floss or filtersock clogs up, the waterlevel in the backchamber lowers and the ato starts filling for the wrong reason. I use a doser. And by the way, the Sicce "silent" is not much more silent than the stock WB pump. DC's are.
