Really genuine and passionate about the marine life of the North Sea. HE SHOWED US EVERYTHING that day and really made our experience special.       I went there 4-5 years ago and they had two giant sunfish then. Did they die? :( I have some fotage of them. They where incredible.

    I think what I love most is how every time George goes to one of these aquariums the curators always seem so happy to walk him around and show him everything, for both the public and staff only sections.
    Most of them have probably never heard of George and could care less about RUclips but they are always so happy. I don’t know many professionals that would take the time of day for a RUclipsr

    George, you have introduced your viewers to so many wonderful aquariums, fish breeders, and other aspects of the fish keeping world! You've put a bunch of places on my list to visit! I love your enthusiasm and Martin's enthusiasm! This aquarium looks like a wonderful place to view and learn about North Sea fish! Several months ago, I viewed a special on the mola sun fish. They're very unique in many ways! Thank you George, Martin and the aquarium for this awesome tour!

    Thanks to George and his crew for making and sharing this video ! I've been aware of this beautiful aquarium for quite some time, but this has been the very best tour of it that I've seen. Seeing the behind the scenes with a great tour guide has been perfect for me !

    I never thought i'd see the day you went to Denmark, and my region as well. I've been to Nordsøen a couple of times, it's quite incredible.

    I used to go there when I was a kid and a long time ago (2003 I believe) there was a fire that broke out and unfortunately the sunfish passed away, I’m so glad they rebuilt it and kept the original ideas❤

    Really enjoyed this tour! I love the Mola Mola they are just so interesting, they start out smaller than nickel and grow to weigh tons! Martin was so entertaining to watch, thank you for taking us to Denmark.

    Wow, that was a fantastic aquarium, I thought for a minute the main tank was actually in the ocean. It's amazing how people's dreams can become a reality. Thanks George and Martin for taking us along.

    I’m in Southern California and I’ve been in the water with sunfish. They are definitely pre-historic looking! Super cool

    I absolutely love these aquarium videos where we get the curators or staff members to take us on a tour. I would definitely love to visit an aquarium with a mola mola someday

    Don’t forget the “Kattegat Center” in Grenaa with the big shark aquarium. And “The Blue Planet” in Copenhagen. And the Randers Rainforest!

    I am from Denmark and this video really made me happy!!! I was also thinking about u visiting an aquarium in Denmark before!!!😊 you should definitely check out another aquarium in Denmark called Den Blå Planet it has fish from all around the world and also has a GIANT fish tank you can also pet some sting rays!!! I love ur videos!!

    Really cool video, Just one small thing. Could of even been mentioned im kinda high.
    The Mola Mola (Ocean Sunfish) specifically when he was talking about it around 3:00 he should of been referring to (Mola alexandrini) The Giant Sunfish.
    They are different species, though closely related obviously. Typical Ocean Sunfish average up to 1000kg, But heavier specimens can reach up to 2000kg
    while we found a 2744kg Giant sunfish in 2021.

    I didn’t even know there were any captive Sunfish in aquariums, thats cool. Wonder how big they can get in captivity compared to in the wild.
    Not to mention the fact that the jellyfish tank has an opening at the top, that’s certainly a lot of trust in making sure parents contain their children

    I think you might also really like the aquarium at Hagenbeck Tierpark in Hamburg, they have a gorgeous aquarium and tropics part that I reay loved when I visited

    It reminds me of a smaller aquarium in north of Norway, it also had some of these fish and seals. I had the pleasure to see their caretaker feed them. The seals there were saved and in rehabilitation.

    You should try the Lisbon Oceanarium in Portugal, they have 4 exhibits: Tropical Indian Ocean, North Atlantic, Antarctic and Temperate Pacific with the Central Tank surrounded by the 4!

    Hey you should come to KLCC in Kuala Lumpur and head to Aquaria. Fish like elephantnose fish, arapaima, clown knifefish, Tapah, otters and sharks are there, very satisfying

    Looks like a wonderful aquarium. You should also take a trip to okinawa and check out the aquarium and whalesharks there. Super amazing when I visited 2 years ago.

    The only time I saw a Mola Mola sunfish was when snorkelling at a shipwreck near Tangalooma. one of my favorite fish.

    At some point George should really visit TODI in Beringen, Belgium. It's a diving center (over 6milion litre diving tower) build into an old mining silo. Here you can dive with tropical fish like arowana, pacu, mbu puffers, cichlids, etc.

    Great video! I hope you visit the "Blue Planet" Aquarium just outside Copenhagen as well, it has fish from all over the world, also a huge 4 million Liter sea tank with sharks!

    its funny that this poped up on my feed, this is a aqarium ive gone to for most of my child hood and still go to this day! its a lovely place for me to go when i can with all the tanks that are there, thay also have got some REALY good fish fillays in the canteen ^^

    I lived in San Diego and I loved going to Seal Beach in La Jolla. So many harbor seals! They have the same face as my dog. His name is chuck so I call them water chucks 😂Thanks for sharing George. I love seeing different aquariums around the world. That ocean tank reminds me the Monterey Aquarium ocean tank. I was lucky enough to see a great white in there. They put them in there when they are caught in fishing nets to rehab them and release them again. Really interesting place. Thanks again for sharing and hope all is well!
