Paper Mario: Sticker Star It's an RPG, and every attack has ammo, and there is no reward except ammo for fighting enemies, so there is no reason to fight enemies. And they did it again in Color Splash.
I beat the lost levels in one day and I am only 12. I hate how RUclipsrs say that kids are dumb, spoiled, and bad at video games. This is the reason why I unsubscribed from 10 channels! And then I forced myself to beat every game on the super mario all stars cartridge without getting a game over in 3 days and succeeded!
Am I the only one who like Mario Party 9 & 10? Sure the vehicle concept doesn’t add anything, but it doesn’t remove anything either. And I loved the minigames in these games, even with motion controls. Other than that, great video as always!
Those things are basically a ticking timebomb anyways. I mean, they won't explode, but their time batteries are dying and there's no easy way to get to said battery without destroying a fair bit.
I personally think Mario Party 9 is a pretty good game. While true, it does limit the individuality of a character's movement, as a result some players may try to force other opponents into a bunch of Ztars. And though a handful of the games are very waggle-oriented, there are many more with more traditional control schemes. Though my opinion may be colored by the fact I have not played any of the older Mario Party games, I think that this game is often made out to look worse than it is.
Well there is always Sticker star. I am one of the few people who is willing to defend the few things it does right but I wish it had never happened. I really don't care what direction they take the Paper Mario series but Sticker Star was the worst possible outcome. (Yes, I did enjoy color splash but it was only fun in the places it was different from sticker star and even then I would still describe it as flawed)

How could you forget Paper Mario: Sticker Star? That game ruined the series as its gameplay style followed up in the sequel on Wii U. It was bad enough Shigeru Miyamoto ruined Sticker Star, but doing it a second time with pretty much no regard of the backlash was going too far! People hoped the 5th Paper Mario wouldn't be another Sticker Star and Nintendo blew it! And now pretty much everyone's expectation on the next Paper Mario game is at an all time low because of this. Also, while Mario Party 9 might have been the start of the series stepping away from a working formula, I still found the game fun in some aspects. But Mario Party 10 on the other hand just goes even deeper down the rabbit hole! I wish Nintendo would hire a new team to work on the series instead of latching onto the company that's ruining it. And one more thing: I really hope Mario Tennis Aces turns out good, though the addition of a story mode is already showing some promise.

Henry Toliver Ha! I'll certainly defend Colour Splash vastly more than Ultra Trash. If only that battle system was better, that game would have been great, although, there's no denying it's a stunning looking game and has arguably some of Nintendo's best writing dialogue wise.
Remember, to truly beat Lost Levels, you have to beat the game FIVE TIMES, to unlock Worlds A - E, and beat it without using warp zones at least once to unlock World 9.
Cool fact, the guy who did the voices of Mario, Luigi, and Bowser in Hotel Mario (Marc Graue) also did the voice of Mr. Zurkon from the Ratchet and Clank series of games.

I've beaten the Lost Levels back when I was 11, but needless to say, it took a really long time (and the forgiving nature of restarting the game at the level and the 128 life trick helped as well). I remember practicing that last stage so much to the point that I tended to beat it much more consistently than the last level of the original mario bros 1 game.
(Just my humble opinion.) All of the Mario vs Donkey Kong games that released after the Gameboy Advance version. It became less about Mario's jumping/platforming and more about the lemming-like mechanic of the minis. Always felt it was a step back for the series.
Sticker star Take mario, add a better story, character with personality, drama, humour, complex motivations, a simple yet fun and variable battle system...Then throw it all out the window and make it as bland and forgettable as possible! Oh and base the next game on it cause it wasnt enough to kill the serie
Mario Party 9 is amazing with friends. Just get a beer and roll (your dice) with the flow. The car thing actually makes you think strategically, but in a different way. Like, do you use the awesome dice you have and avoid some bad spaces or should you use 1-2-3 dice so that the next player gets a lot of Z-stars on his turn? Plus, the gardening contest game where you fit your plants tetris-like into a grid is amazing. The waggle controls are there for sure, but again, your take seems to be overly "mainstream gamer" one. All my occasional-gamer friends love them. Waggle controls are FUN, and at a party (which, you know, is a use case hinted in the title of the game) no one cares for accuracy. The only game I've had more fun with at a party is Wii Party with all the Miis and their priceless face expressions of surprise or anger. Still hoping they make something similar for Switch (including Miis, of course).
Super Mario Bros. 2 made the 1-Up trick a lot easier than it was in the original. Get yourself over 100 extra lives and practice. The most important thing to get the hang of is building up enough running momentum to jump high and far enough.
