Richter was gay, Tchaikovsky was gay. Both in a Russia that couldn't accept a gay man. The last section of the final movement you see Richter playing this testament to rejection, fear, suppression....that only music can fulfill.
Although you are probably right about Tchaikovaky, what on earth caused you to think this about Richter?? Until you care to produce evidence (and perhaps publish it), I label this as a disgusting mislabeling of one's gender. If you say everyone deserves to be called what they like please extend this to Richter and call him not what is trendy in modern society but what he would have liked.
