- A little video about the climbing wall we build.
I am not a video editor, the aim is to show what we build....not primarily to make a documentary.
feel free to ask any questions.
you can find more about the wall here:

Brilliant design, first climbing wall done all in wood that I've seen. Aesthetically so pleasing, perfectly engineered in modules that allows for changing configurations. And one doesn't even need an engineering degree, if you were born German, that is. Bravo!
thank you so much...
Inspiring! A work of art when not in use, and modular for novelty and flexibility. Well done.
Super nice wall!
amazing work!!!
This is so aesthetic and such a thoughtful design. I love it! Thank you so much for sharing. I just started shaping my own wooden holds...thanks for the inspiration. Hope you and yours are doing well during this crazy time.
we are using the time to do some changes to the wall actually....thanks for your comment!!!
volle gut! und natürlich und interessant presentiert :-)
That is a really nice versatile compact wall, I like the modules that can be changed and having some smaller holds glued is a good idea. What kind of fixings do you use to hold the modules to the wall so they can be removed?
looks cool if you just want to have fun and enjoy easy climbing
Hey,
I know the video is already over a year old..
But still I would be interested to know how you shaped the holds :)
well there are a lot of ways. Most of our holds ar emade from the leftovers of plywood. First I glue these to bigger pieces. Then I normally use the bandsaw to cut them to a nice shape and then a disc grinder. Another Option ist to first drill the holes for the screws and then I have a spare piece of wall in my workshop and atache the hold to this and use an anglegrinder to form the hold freehand. both options work great and fast. I also did a few Holds on my lathe, but of course thats not a tool many people have available...
