While this doesn't surprise me at all and I do believe LWM fully I would like to see evidence WG made it sounds like they were going to have a more hands on role with this ship to really hammer it home.
A very nice review, PQ. It's an accurate summation of what it's like the play Yukon. I found her experience to be highly volatile, more so than just about any other mid-tier battleship. I struggled to try and average 70,000 damage in her and never quite managed it because, like you demonstrated at the end, there are just some matches where breaking even 15k is just impossible.
Save your money and get the Monarch for free. It has a 25 second reload (!), pretty great HE, decent accuracy and better armour. It has the bonus of also not having cursed T7 matchmaking. They're literally charging you for a gimped silver ship, it's beyond lazy.
When you start talking about battleship nimbleness it triggers me because WG gave the Yamato a huge penalty on her turning circle compared to what the real ship could do... encouraging the myth that Yamato is a "big clumsy brick" when in fact, she was as nimble as an Iowa class battleship and had to do that carrying 20,000 more tons of displacement. If you look at WW2 areal photos of Yamato taken by Allied planes as she was evading bombs and torps, she's dancing. It's impressive. Ok.. I'm done. lol
Yamato handled the way she did compared to an Iowa because she had a better Length to Beam ratio. Much like the Standards, NCs, and SoDaks. Iowas, being designed for balls out speed and also to fit the Panama Canal had unfortunate length to beam issues. After the war there was at least the idea of cutting the bows off the Iowas and giving them a more conventional, less tapered, bow. It would have cost them speed, but probably increased turning, increased stability as a gun platform, and increased buoyancy forward of the citadel.
@@jaredevans8263 My personal belief is that she would have lost speed, but not gained what was hoped. The speed came in handy in the 80's we they were the center of their own battle groups. They were of similar speeds to all their escorts.

Does it automatically say "I'm Sorry" after it citadels you? The better detection and rudder shift may mean you have to play this as a heavy cruiser when up tiered. Its detection is not much worse than the Hipper for example and it sure has a ton more hit points to play with when you take the super heal into account.
