    The Bills are missing out on an opportunity for a domed stadium. Good luck having games delayed due to snow in the wintertime and having to pay people to shovel out snow. At least some teams getting new stadiums in the next few years now are doing it the right way just to eliminate weather problems by having a roof.

      @@MrUnsolvedMystery I agree. I get it that football is a sport that’s traditionally played outdoors but you have to plan for bad weather days that won’t delay a game and it would go on as scheduled and the fans wouldn’t have to put up with the elements of inclement weather for 3.5 hours. Some fans on one side like having the games outdoors while there’s the other side that likes the indoors. However if you want to still have that outdoor feel to the games, just build a retractable roof and you can open it on days when the weather is clear and keep it closed on days when it’s expected to either rain or snow or if the wind is a factor. Another weather condition I didn’t mention was the summer heat when the season starts and fans can be in the shade in an indoor stadium for that 3.5 hours.

    • @RT88414
      @RT88414 3 месяца назад +3

      @@rhdtv2002 with an indoor stadium, you can host various other events not just related to football and weather won’t be a problem. For example(and you can probably tell from my profile picture) I went to watch Metallica last year in Arlington, Texas in August 2023 and it was HOT during the day and it was a good thing they played in Cowboys stadium not having to worry about those high 90+ temperatures. They can still renovate 1 more time before considering building a new stadium. Tampa will never vote for a new stadium unless the Glazers come up half the money. Besides Tampa sales tax is at the maximum allowed by the state. Tampa does not have the bed tax money that Pinellas County gets. At best the city will try to not allow the 1/2 cent sales tax to sunset. That is how they funded RJ Stadium. No comment on Orlando or Miami. They have tourism money that Tampa could only dream about. 4 NFL teams in Florida, no way.

      Miami will probably get a new stadium in 15 years or so. The Bucs could get another 20 years out of RayJay if they do a Miami-style renovation and entertainment district. Nobody wants to play in Camping World and in no way are the Ravens leaving.

      Tampa has a while, and Miami just got a massive renovation less than a decade ago. They brought the stadium up to date and definitely gave it the best looking roof in my opinion with the 4 pillars. Plus big changes to the seating bowl. So they have a good while also.

      @@kennethgolden5539 I can see it especially if Florida’s population continues to soar it’s only a matter of time before that happens.
