Great video! I have watched others on this and you covered all the options and even made it easy to access as others are removing the center console and making it more difficult than it should be.
Hello BuZayed … question i have for you. 2017 Jku Sahara i tried the switch install. Found purple wire with light blue wire. Cut wire. Turned key on Abs/ TC light on . Connected 2 extension wires with connectors ( no solder). I attached the 2 wires to the switch ( which actually happens to be the same as one you show in your grouping ) . The switch has 3 spades in /out/ ground. I attached all 3 . But the issue i have is the lights in dash will not turn off now. I can turn the engine off( with switch in either position) then restart but lights still on. Also I disconnected the battery and let the charge out of the vehicle . Reattach start jk lights return instantly. Plus it has thrown codes . Low voltage and no communication. You got any ideas as to what happened here ? Is it the 3rd wire? Are my 2 wires reversed ? Do the wires need solder vs connectors ? Help please.
Thank you for the help in making my Jeep more fun to drive off road! First time watcher. You got a like and a subscribe from me too. Hope to see more amazing videos.
I have a JGC with the ecodiesel, unfortunately I have to get it smog checked annually on a 2 axle dynamometer. Because of TC/ ESC, I pay double what I think is fair for this test. Should pulling the TC/ ESC fuse allow me to do the smog check on a 1 axle dynamometer saving 50% of the rip off of a smog check?
Hi, no it does not void the warranty. No there is no way they can find out as I checked the jeep computer fault messages but it didn’t record any. However, remember to put the fuse back when you drive on the road for your safety.
Salam BuZayed, Do you have any idea on kill swtches on other cars like patrol Y62 ? Or maybe recommend a website as I have been searching without luck! Also , some offroaders are talking about kill switch for ABS ,Traction & Airbags as well to avoid them being blownout during side cresting as some cars had this issue. Thanks in advance
W salam Malek, You can make your own kill switch for Y62. Try first to remove the ABS fuses and see if it works: the fuse box under the steering to the left remove fuse F7. The fuse box in the engine bay remove fuse FI. If it worked with one of the fuses then what you can do is find one wire that goes to that fuse cut it and make a switch and you will have yourself a kill switch :-)
Your welcome Mohammed. No this does not apply to jeep commander, it is strictly for Jeep JK. For your Jeep you will have traction control switch which will not disable the system fully only small percentage. So to disable the system fully, you will need either to remove the ABS/traction control fuse, or design a kill switch.
While i remove fuse or use kill switch, whenever traction off symbol pops up, car doesnt accelerate more than 3rpm. Have you experienced the same? I have tried in 2 JK and both of them doesnt accelerate more than 3rpm when traction light is on
great video but can you tell me the name of the wire, because i own a ford expedition and i want to install a kill switch.i want to take it to the mechanic. so i will be needing the name😄😄
The traction control doesn't affect the engine power in any way. However, to boost your engine power I recommend using devices that will make your throttle more responsive. I use one and very happy with it :-D Thanks for checking my video
I have a current issue with my 2012 Rubicon, when driving for a certain time, my ESC light comes on and I do lose throttle, can't floor it. I gain speed gradually even when full pedal..
If you are doing the donut in thick sand then you will struggle and possibly get stuck. If you want to do it with full tire pressure then do it on a flat ground, just be careful the tires will get hot. have fun :-)
There should be one with light blue 😅 you might have mixed up between the dark blue strip and the light blue. Send me a picture on Instagram @bzta.ae and let me see which one.
It’s called ESC, Electronic Stability Control. Accelerometer keeps track of all directional. Movement of vehicle compares to steering, throttle position, engine torque, and more, and uses those comparisons to do its best to prevent too dangerous a maneuver, whether on purpose or accident. It cannot totally prevent all chances of rollover, but it does prevent the yaw situation from getting too dangerous and if it s sees quick change in yaw moment of inertia it suspects an imminent rollover, applies brakes and removes engine power in an effort to save you from your self or an accident.
Great video! I have watched others on this and you covered all the options and even made it easy to access as others are removing the center console and making it more difficult than it should be.
Thanks. Things are usually simple so I prefer to keep it that way to make it fun working on our cars :-)
Awesome vid bro.. Keep it up

Pls make a video on the diflock system in jeep commander
Hello Mohammed, I will do my research and try to do the video for sure. thanks for checking my channel :-)

does removing the fuse void jeeps warranty ? and is there anyway they can find out

Do you know what fuse and wire color for a 2021 JLU?
What all fuses we need to remove for JL to disable Abs ,Esc , Tc
What year is your jeep. My 2013 wrangler does not respond to long press of TC button.

Thanks buzayed .... does that apply to jeep commander 2007 hemi 5.7 ?

Just instal a switch that turns off the ABS and Traction control ... it’s easier for you than removing fuses
Great video! Thank you!

No this never happened to me or to someone I know. Try to check the car computer settings, it might need to be reset.
“MAKE THE DOUGHNUTS” 🤣
All joking aside nice video
Thank you
2011 kk
I’ll check wiring diagram to make sure I’m looking for same color wires
lol I needed to add humour to it :-p
Yeah check the wires it is a simple process just make sure you find the correct wire.

Hi
Is it the same thing to deactivate the traction control in Jl 2020? So The fuse needs to be removed to fullly disable the traction control?
Hi Nabil, yes same thing for JL you will need to remove the ABS fuse to deactivate the traction control completely. Or customise a kill switch.
How about grand Cherokee overland 2012 ?
Hi Dany, you can either use the traction control disable switch or remove fuse F4 ABS/ESP system
What about Jeep KL Cherokee trailhawk 2017 ?
You can just use the traction control button or remove the ABS fuse. It should do the trick :-)
great video but can you tell me the name of the wire, because i own a ford expedition and i want to install a kill switch.i want to take it to the mechanic. so i will be needing the name😄😄
Great video
Thanks much appreciated 😁
Thankyou my friend ❤️🌹
Thank you for visiting my channel:-)
It’s very informative video
Thanks a lot
Could you please advise that
Is it safe to dune on 1st gair it will not have any impact on engine ?
Thanks a lot
You can drive on 1st gear it won't hurt the engine
Hi I love to watch your videos ❤️
Thank you so much for your support :-)
Purple wire with light blue stripe didn't work for me, rather it disabled air bag. 2013 JK Sport.
Bro , For making donuts, traction 70% off or 30% off or remove fuse?
Please tell which option.
Thanx 🙏🏻
Hi Bro, You need to remove the fuse. To disable the traction control completely. Have fun ;-)
Is that the same wire color with jeep jlu 2020?
Hello Kabs, no it is not.
@@BZTAchannel did you find out what color it is. I have a 2021 JLU
Does your traction control switch also prevents your truck to reduce the power of your engine?
The traction control doesn't affect the engine power in any way. However, to boost your engine power I recommend using devices that will make your throttle more responsive. I use one and very happy with it :-D
Thanks for checking my video

Does the car get stuck when doing donut with full tire pressure
If you are doing the donut in thick sand then you will struggle and possibly get stuck. If you want to do it with full tire pressure then do it on a flat ground, just be careful the tires will get hot. have fun :-)
Hey there! I tried to remove the fuse and it worked. But when I put it back, the checks don’t disappear and so I don’t know if the system is back
Once you put the fuse back you will need to switch off the car and switch it back on again then the check light will go away.
What communication radio do you use?
I use the Icom IC-2730A Dual Band VHF/UHF 50W radio
@@BZTAchannel thanks.
ok dawgh. good info
i have 2017 jku still cut same wire?
Hi Jim yes exactly same wire. Mine is 2017 JK so yes same wires. :-)
@@BZTAchannel thank you are you happy with this mod
Yes I am
TY good vid
THANKYOU!
I found 3 purple wires. 2 with light blue stripes and 1 with a dark blue strip lmao Which one do I cut? 2013 Jk
There should be one with light blue 😅 you might have mixed up between the dark blue strip and the light blue. Send me a picture on Instagram @bzta.ae and let me see which one.
I have the same problem I have 3 purple wires
how do you turn the traction control back on after you do the long press?
You simply press once again and it will switch it back on. If not just restart the car 😁
Tysm
Your tires is low
Tire pressure changes depending on the sand you drive on
It's a Jeep, not a car...😊
That esc and abs auto breaking is the biggest pile of sh** thats ever been put in a car
Traction control has nothing to do with preventing a rollover lol. Not even close.
It absolutely does especially when you drive on a sand dune. With some experience you will come to know.
