If you exhale all the air in you, you will sink. At least I do. I would always wear a Jet Ski PFD USCG certified life jacket. You don't do anything and it floats you.

😮 WOW... When I was in high school the PE coach tried to teach me to swim for 2 years.... I don’t remember him telling me ANY of these things! I just thought I couldn’t swim. Looking at these clear instructions (which make sense) I am motivated to go out and give it a try! ...This looks like a blast... That I’ve needlessly been missing!!... I am convinced now, EVERYBODY should learn how to swim.

I am 30 and I feel like only now its the right time to face my fear =) I couldn't have done it earlier, my state of mind wasn't ready.

I am 50 and learned swimming last month. Though I was quite sceptical in the beginning but since I started floating within four days, I didn't let go the momentum. And without any doubt, RUclips videos have kept me motivated. Being from a teaching field, I adopt the self-directed learning approach which is suitable for adult learning. Follow the areas you want to improve as per your instinct and work upon them. Now I am regularly doing 30 breadths daily and building up my strength.

my first swimming lesson ever was today, I had a big trouble to recover to standing position from back float. I will try this trick next time, I hope it works.
thank you for your excellent demo.

This is an update about how to recover to standing position from back float, and yes, it worked, you just need to do it fast to overcome the tension of the water that made me feel like stuck to the surface of the water. try it few times, you will get it.

I just learned to float on my back. I need to learn how to move through the water and float upright.
It felt so good when I finally managed that feat 😅😅😅

Who are those ungrateful freaks who keep giving a thumbs down to helpful videos like these. If you think you're better at swimming and teaching it, just make your own videos and leave other supposedly inferior ones alone. Anyways, thank you to the maker of this video. I gave you a thumbs up, your video is really helpful and great.

Thank you so much for this video. Now I will just find a pool that's only on chest level just in case I will not be able to do it. If only I can bring you with me so that you can teach me in person and hold me while doing it.
