i get a lot of muscle cramps I NEED HELP 😭
If you exhale all the air in you, you will sink. At least I do. I would always wear a Jet Ski PFD USCG certified life jacket. You don't do anything and it floats you.
Just tried it this morning and after some trial and error, I could finally float and look upwards (my dream!!!). Thank you so much. This is such a simple and effective tutorial.
I'm going to the pool this weekend hope it works😕
Congrats
My Legs always sink.what to do!!!
@@freespirit7328 try lifting up your torso higher!
@@emilywip ok,I will try next time .
Thank You 🙏😊
😮 WOW... When I was in high school the PE coach tried to teach me to swim for 2 years.... I don’t remember him telling me ANY of these things! I just thought I couldn’t swim. Looking at these clear instructions (which make sense) I am motivated to go out and give it a try! ...This looks like a blast... That I’ve needlessly been missing!!... I am convinced now, EVERYBODY should learn how to swim.
I learned how to swim last month and I am 51. I was scared of water.
Fere A i am 30 and learning to swim now. I really enjoy the challenge and regret not having tried earlier. There were 6 yrs old kids in the pool.
I like this chat thread. Please do share how your experience was and what worked for you. I am 24 and regret not learning how to swim when I was a child. I have made various scenarios of myself dying in water and that's very disturbing because I really do want to learn how to swim!
My deepest fear is drowning, my nightmares were about tsunamis, pools etc. I started learning last week and I had my first dream about deep waters and I wasn't afraid. I am 30 and I feel like only now its the right time to face my fear =) I couldn't have done it earlier, my state of mind wasn't ready.
That’s awesome! You are so brave! Swimming is the best 😊
Well Done
I am 50 and learned swimming last month. Though I was quite sceptical in the beginning but since I started floating within four days, I didn't let go the momentum. And without any doubt, RUclips videos have kept me motivated. Being from a teaching field, I adopt the self-directed learning approach which is suitable for adult learning. Follow the areas you want to improve as per your instinct and work upon them. Now I am regularly doing 30 breadths daily and building up my strength.
Never give up and Believe that you can do it!
Wow.
30 breadths/day in A month at 50..i means salute to your motivation and Methodology👏👏👏
However ,even when being senior to Me in age..u r lucky that u r learning in the age of RUclips videos and easy Internet.
Beast of luck!👍👍!!
I'm 54 yrs old learning to swim. This video is very very helpful.I wish I'd seen it before my first attempt at back float in a swim class, because I had a terrible experience recovering to standing position. Now I know the hand movement is the opposite to front float recovery!!
Loved the video. As a non swimmer and having a deep fear for water, these tips will certainly help me. I can absolutely relate to the non swimmer mistakes. Thank you so much for creating this great video.
Now I just have to find a pool to practice looking dead in the water.
ihopeutubedies 😂😂😂
almost gave me a virus...
Exactly. You got it right
U can play dead as long as youknow ucan stand back on ur feet 😹
Lol I don’t think I’ll ever learn to swim
Nice demonstration and a very clear explanation. Big time help for beginners, need help on breathing and strokes. Please keep it coming, thank you so much.
Love this Vedic great way to get started
wow this was a great video!
my swimming instructor did not even mention some of these things! RUclips wins again.
Subscribed! thanks!
next class I'm going to apply these things to better float and hopefully can glide too.
My mistake was to not relax while floating on water, and forget to exhale. Thank you so much you cleared few things for me.
PrimeZer You're welcome! I'm glad you were able to clear a few things up! Feel free to check out all of our tutorials on each of the six official strokes, and treading water on our page! :)
" when your face is in the water you will note be able to inhale any air " .. thank you! I figured out I've been doing it wrong my whole life.
I am 70 yrs old learning to swim. I can not float on my back I am so afraid. i can do front float pretty well. I have fear of water. this was a good video. Thanks.
Audrey Cooper My grandmother is also 70 and she learned to swim this year. She got her lifeguards certification soon after and now she's a lifeguard at her local community pool. 😎
BITCH PUDDIN' Blam! God Bless your grandma. I am determined, just have to learn to relax.
So proud of you. How is your swimming going?😊
Do you know how to swim now?
I have the opposite problem. O can float on my back but not my front
I am an adult swimming biginner. have been practicing in both deep and shallow pools. I feel very comfortable in the water after 12 hours of swimming together, but looking at this video has definately cleared out some of my mistakes.
thanx alot for this video
super method of teaching, every educative, many thanks.
Thanks, this video cleared a few things up for me.
Thank you so much ...I am 34 did not knew anything about swimming but I learned to swim by using your techniques . Thank you so much :)
Very useful for beginners
Thank you so much for this video! I watched it at the beach just now and went out and floated for the first time in my life!! I could never do it before!
Thank you! I'm a beginner swimming and have been struggling for years trying to float. I learned how to somewhat glide beneath the surface. But I hardly went anywhere because of my lack of knowledge how to work. Finally it makes sense! Thank you again!
your lucky because I can barley even float😂
For years seriously..c mon girl
Is that hard to believe? Swimming doesn't come easily for everyone.
You are not alone.
Me too, trying years to float then only to know that I have to hold air in my lung in order to float
OMG biggest discovery for the mystery why I could never able to float LOL
O my God, i have been trying to float on water many times, but it never worked well. I watched this video the other day and got into the pool today. Finally, I learn how to float. Thank you so much, this video is VERY helpful.
Hey, I practiced the back float as you had suggested with the chin up, body relaxed and held breath, and it worked perfectly. Thanks.
Good information! I know front float but didn't know the back float. Will try now!
Thanks much!
Thank you so much for this lesson. I'm trying the back float at the moment in my swimming lessons.
Thank you, +SwimLifePro!
Because of this video, I learned to do some front float and glide in just a few minutes! ✔✔🖒🖒This will serve as prep prior to taking some pro lessons. I've given the instructor a huge favor :). Keep 'em comin', SwimLifePro!
Thank you! This was very helpful! What's the next step after this? Could you do a video of rotation to the side as well.
thanks for teaching me how to properly dismount from the float positions! I was sinking out of my forward float.
Thanks for the tutorial. As child i had difficulty in water treading and for it i developed some kind of deep water phobia. With this tutorial i hope i can cure my phobia.
it's one of my favorite video because of this I really learn swimming
Very nicely taught.eye pointing downwards so that hip will raise helping leg not to go downward was one of the key point.everytime I used to see front and in response my leg used to drop down,I didn't knew the reason.i can try your method now.thank you.
Great video and very very helpful...the biggest mistake i was making was looking up while trying to float...thanks a lot !!
I'm learning swimming because my brother died by drowning
Rip to your brother
RIP
I’m sorry for ur loss
RIP
R.I.P😞
Worth noting that natural buoyancy varies greatly in individuals. So people who don't have especially good natural buoyancy shouldn't be discouraged from swimming, even if they have trouble maintaining a prolonged prone float.
"only breath in when your mouth is out of the water" i've been doing it all wrong all these years
Nabby Nabs there ya go
ga- GLUBGLGUBGLGLBGGUPFFFFF GASP
breath in when your mouth is out of water what does that mean?
@@idle0107 it means that when your mouth is not underwater or in the water:)
@@jeffl1467 thanks!
this guy is naturally bouyant. Find a dense and big boned, lean, tall guy like me to demonstrate these techniques
D Monk EXACTLY!!!!!!! I couldn't master how to float on my back until a guy who looked like that (lean, tall, dense heavy bones) gave me tips on how to do it. I think it's harder for lean tall people.
I'm 6'2 and 190 pounds and lean as well
Guess what even I sink no matter how hard I try to float. There are people with higher fat happily floating beside me. It sucks. One place where fat helps
@@feraldy6637 When did I say I'm underweight. Was speaking of my overwhelmingly high body density there. N yaa I've tried doing nothing as well but my body's lower back and the legs just drip down and the chest follows
@@Athithi7 it means you're doing something wrong. Pro swimmers are tall and have well built muscle. No excuse for guys like you.
@@jalalganda8304 No excuse? You burnt me outright there. I guess I need to devote myself to swimming for longer periods now. Thanks for the motivation
Iam 62 and started a month ago.
The instructor did not teach me this basic Floating Technique.
I will start trying this from today
28 April 2022 and give feed back in 2 days after practicing this.
Thanks for the Technique❤
Thank you! Fantastic tutorial!!!
Thank you so much for helping organize those orientations supports.
Where’s the pool at?
Great, straight forward video. I find my legs are not floating to the top or surface of the water and I’m already holding my breath and looking down. Any tips to get my legs higher up when floating? Thanks!
I love this video. Really instructional. Sounds and looks practical.
wow its an all in one video thanks a lot bro
Great video. Thanks so much.
Very clear explanation! I've never seen a video explaining the fundamentals of swimming as well as you have. Great video!
Brilliant! Great job with the tutorials.
Great Explanation. I was committing the same mistake, but now I improved and able to swim easily. Thanks alot
Wowwwwwww!
You made it look so easy.
Thank you for the amazing tips.
Thank you for uploading the videos. Very helpful
Thanks man! nice vid and very clear explanation!
Thank you so much for the detailed explanation.
This is a very informative video. Helps clear a lot of questions in your head when you are beginner.
Most of the instructions videos just show how to back float. But don't explain how to get back to standing position. I am so glad I found it in this video's 05:50 part. Thank you very much.
You might want to add a segment about neutral buoyant person whose upper body would float but their feet would sink down. They would try to achieve the exact same result as the positive buoyant person and would believe that they have failed when they really have succeeded.
i have this 'problem'! So what you're saying is that i have succeeded, and that this is not a problem?
Exactly this. Floating with your legs down is still floating!
This what i do, every time i try to float my legs slowly sink, how do I stop this from happening?
@@davidmclean1134 late answer but if ur freestyle swimming keep your head down since your head and legs need to be in the same position. if your head is looking forward you sink since it is out of position.
Very useful tips for beginners. This is what I was looking for. Thank you!
nice video. simple and easy.
Awesome video....all in one super duper helpful very nice explanation..👍👍👍
Excellent explanation! I love it!
This was the best video i found till now on youtube for swimming lesson
A very well done production, Thanks.
thank you bro for such a good lesson in swimming.. blowing water, floating .thanks
Guys 2 weeks ago i was swimming underwater then i broke my front tooth now i've to go to the dentist i swear this shit hurts so y'all pray for me 😢😢🤛🏿🤜🏻
Great... I can swim now with your advices... Thank you so much...
Thanks, I need to practice this when it gets warmer
Excellent video. I needed it. Thanks
Nice video. I'll put what I've learnt here into practice. Thank you
As someone who is taught to swim as an infant I always thought that swimming was natural to humans but I've been going down a rabbit hole of adults learning how to swim and I'm learning the opposite, that swimming is not innate but instead it is a learned skill. It's fascinating to learn the components of swimming that I just do automatically
you're the best....the all thanks for you
Thank you for this video. I’m about to go to boot camp and I’ve never learned how to swim but this definitely helped a lot!
US Navy?
I never took any classes and just jumped In the deep end. I know how to swim decently but I am watching these types of videos to be more confident when going to the lake or deep end of a pool
what a fabulous video is this. i saw many videos on swimming that is the best video
Well done instructions for beginners and swim instructor, I will refer my students to this site and we will advance their swimming with ease. Thanks
Muito bom os vídeos, estou tentando aprender a andar, não está fácil.
For school we have to do a swimming unit and idk how to swim hopefully this video helps. I just need to practice a bit before we start swimming
ok guys wish me luck i hope i dont die :D

+God Harambae Harambe made me SEX
I love your explanations ! I applied your teaching and floated for sometime before that I couldn't :)
But i am having issues with my breaths I can't take after the one and offcourse stroke is very difficult
As an experienced teacher I can say this video is pretty good from what I've seen. It's missed out a few little bits but overall pretty good.
Interesting front float...his arms are really high. Looks like someone's been swimming butterfly...😎
Thank you for sharing this. God bless you
nice video! with great explanation
my first swimming lesson ever was today, I had a big trouble to recover to standing position from back float. I will try this trick next time, I hope it works.
thank you for your excellent demo.
This is an update about how to recover to standing position from back float, and yes, it worked, you just need to do it fast to overcome the tension of the water that made me feel like stuck to the surface of the water. try it few times, you will get it.
This is sooooo helpfuuuuul! Appreciate this one. Hope I'll get over my fear of drowning.
I want you to know you are beautiful! You are beautiful just the way you look now! You are important! You have meaning and worth! I love you so much! Jesus loves you too! You do not need any adjustments to your body to look beautiful! Beauty is on the inside of the Heart! You are beautiful!
Thank you so much!
gonna try tomorrow
Great video !
very helpful. make more such videos.
OMG thanks dude i need to learn this before 17 cuz im joining swimming
I just learned to float on my back. I need to learn how to move through the water and float upright.
It felt so good when I finally managed that feat 😅😅😅
Who are those ungrateful freaks who keep giving a thumbs down to helpful videos like these. If you think you're better at swimming and teaching it, just make your own videos and leave other supposedly inferior ones alone. Anyways, thank you to the maker of this video. I gave you a thumbs up, your video is really helpful and great.
Great video very helpful
I’ve always wanted to learn how to Waterbend 🌊
Thanks sir, you teach us very easy and simple. From Pakistan
Wow! Great work! Keep it up!
Hello. I am from Saudi Arabia. Your channel is useful and more than wonderful. I hope with all my heart that all the videos will be translated into Arabic. Thanks for your effort, time and interaction with us.
Thank you so much for this video. Now I will just find a pool that's only on chest level just in case I will not be able to do it. If only I can bring you with me so that you can teach me in person and hold me while doing it.
Awesome,thanks.
Bravo! Excellent!
Thank you so much this helped a lott !!!!!!!!!!! I love you
Thank you.
I loved this video.
This helped me!
GREAT VIDEO! SALUTE! DAMN I WANT TO OWN A POOL EVEN MORE NOW! THANK YOU!
