    • @joannot6706

He couldn't even get the definition of veganism right.
1:10 Veganism isn't avoiding to eat animals and use their biproducts,
by this logic paying for corrida or kicking a dog would be vegan because it doesn't involve eating animals or using an animal's by-product, clearly corrida and kicking a dog aren't vegan.
What you avoid as a vegan by definition is animal exploitation and mistreatment (cruelty).
Veganism is not a way to consume, or at least it's more than that.

@@longevitycoach1573 Don't people who eat cows also eat vegetables? I don't personally know any omni's who don't eat vegetables. You've obviously never grown vegetables lol. I used to grow organic vege's commercially. What you do is plant a variety of flowering plants to attract beneficial insects which kill, eat, parasitise the ones which eat our crops. U can also buy parasitizing insect eggs on bits of card which hatch and kill/parasitize things like "white fly". Rotating crops (not planting crop species in same place every yr) also help to keep plants healthy, robust and more resistant to pests. Do this right and pests aren't a big issue, and ones vege's are clean. Amazing to see. Also grow things like grapes cherries etc under covers or netting to keep out the birds. When it comes to animals I also think there's a big difference between an aphid and a cow btw! They're hardly equivalent lol

In my opinion, after seeing people go in and out of veganism while I’ve maintained my diet for almost 8 years, the difference between being vegan temporarily and vegan for life is the purpose. If it’s not for the animals, there’s a good chance life circumstances will change the motivation to keep a vegan diet. But compassion for animals and a desire to not contribute to their suffering stays forever.

I introduced fish 18 months ago and had some improvements, chicken this year and had some more. Then meat 6 weeks ago and have reversed my many many issues.
Ill give one example... alot of people have 1 of the 3 herpes viruses or other related to it like shingles, epstein barr etc. These people need a high lysine, low arginine diet which is very very hard on a vegan diet. My immune system was constantly activated and pain was a daily (big) issue.

I was vegan for 9 years. Tried absolutely everything. Long story short, I'm just one of those people who WILL NOT thrive on a vegan diet. I have an auto immune disease and cannot eat everything from Gluten to the oxolates that are in many plants. All kinds of health complications. For me, animals lives are not worth putting above my health 🤷‍♂️. I trully love and respect all of you who are thriving on a vegan diet ❤

Brilliant. That pretty much sums it up. I learned about veganism from animal rights groups, and I've been vegan since 1992. I'm a pretty healthy person, and I have been donating blood to the American Red Cross every 3 months or so for the last 20 years. Thanks for making this video. 🧡💚❤

I've been vegan for 4 years now, your story was definitely part of my inspiration. Maybe you could put out a vegan cookbook? More options for high protein vegan meals is always welcome and I also think there is a huge gap in the market for food chains focusing on this. Thanks for everything you do and have done 🙂

Great video. I do want to stress that veganism is specifically about animal rights. A plant based diet is the diet we follow, but it always come back to the animals. This video seems to confuse a vegan for someone who is plant based. This is where the statistic comes regarding so many ex vegans. Please understand the difference. These people stopped following a diet. Just because you eat a plant based diet DOES NOT mean you are vegan. So important. There are other industries like clothing and medical testing that involve animal abuse and a plant based person may still support these industries. A vegan does not.
To some of you I may sound like I am picking apart this video, but I can assure you I am not. This misconception needs to be cleared up.
We need plant based athletes and foodies to show the world the diet works and can be delicious. I just find it very frustrating how many people equate ex vegans with ex plant based dieters.
Veganism is an ethical stance against animal abuse. You don’t just wake up one day and start abusing animals again.
I know Nimai is vegan I just want to stress that fact.

I guess animals like frogs, turtles, mice, rats, gophers, deer, eagles, snakes, lizards, insects and so on don't have rights in your world, because those are the victims that the crop industry poison and torture and shoot so you can eat your precious "cruelty free" vegan slop. Plus it isn't even healthy for you anyway. Plus those animals that are killed are discarded like garbage, rather than being used for food. Veganism is the biggest scam of corporations since they legalized Aspartame.
