In my opinion, after seeing people go in and out of veganism while I’ve maintained my diet for almost 8 years, the difference between being vegan temporarily and vegan for life is the purpose. Wow thank you for encouraging and providing a great description of being vegan! A lot of people these days only eat a plant-based diet whether for their health or environment, and they call themselves “vegan” without mentioning animals. This is very precise and kind approach! ❤❤

Vegan for the animals! But also my food is soooo tasty 😋 20 years no meat I look and feel great people are not believing when I’m telling them I’m 40 Man come over to Israel the vegan nation we have so much stuff here
It is impossible to be vegan for the animals, as a vegan diet requires more plant and crops to get a similar nutrient profile as meat does. That is on top of the larger amount of animals killed by the crop industry which far surpasses anything meat eaters could do.
Vegan for years already. So many health issues which haunted me for decade+ are gone. Start was harder. Like month or so. Now I am disgusted bu smell of meat and its byproducts. Smels like rotten corpse to me. So I dont need to mentally suffer for cravings of meat. Only think maybe dairy products like cottage cheese. That I would like to eat. Waiting for vegan options for that ;)
I’ve heard some people aren’t very good at producing their own cholesterol and should get it from animal products. If this is the case then cholesterol should be consumed as it is vital to our health
I was vegan for 9 years. Tried absolutely everything. Long story short, I'm just one of those people who WILL NOT thrive on a vegan diet. I have an auto immune disease and cannot eat everything from Gluten to the oxolates that are in many plants. All kinds of health complications. For me, animals lives are not worth putting above my health 🤷♂️. I trully love and respect all of you who are thriving on a vegan diet ❤
Brilliant. That pretty much sums it up. I learned about veganism from animal rights groups, and I've been vegan since 1992. I'm a pretty healthy person, and I have been donating blood to the American Red Cross every 3 months or so for the last 20 years. Thanks for making this video. 🧡💚❤
I've been vegan for 4 years now, your story was definitely part of my inspiration. Maybe you could put out a vegan cookbook? More options for high protein vegan meals is always welcome and I also think there is a huge gap in the market for food chains focusing on this. Thanks for everything you do and have done 🙂
Great video. I do want to stress that veganism is specifically about animal rights. A plant based diet is the diet we follow, but it always come back to the animals. This video seems to confuse a vegan for someone who is plant based. This is where the statistic comes regarding so many ex vegans. Please understand the difference. These people stopped following a diet. Just because you eat a plant based diet DOES NOT mean you are vegan. So important. There are other industries like clothing and medical testing that involve animal abuse and a plant based person may still support these industries. A vegan does not. To some of you I may sound like I am picking apart this video, but I can assure you I am not. This misconception needs to be cleared up. We need plant based athletes and foodies to show the world the diet works and can be delicious. I just find it very frustrating how many people equate ex vegans with ex plant based dieters. Veganism is an ethical stance against animal abuse. You don’t just wake up one day and start abusing animals again. I know Nimai is vegan I just want to stress that fact.
I guess animals like frogs, turtles, mice, rats, gophers, deer, eagles, snakes, lizards, insects and so on don't have rights in your world, because those are the victims that the crop industry poison and torture and shoot so you can eat your precious "cruelty free" vegan slop. Plus it isn't even healthy for you anyway. Plus those animals that are killed are discarded like garbage, rather than being used for food. Veganism is the biggest scam of corporations since they legalized Aspartame.

Not everyone can be vegan due to allergies, genetics, biology and a combination. 45% of people are low converters of beta carotene to vitamin a cos of a specific genetic variant.
Brilliant!! I've shared on my FB page, thank you! ❤
