Such a quaint little town. Thanks for sharing. The flowers were beautiful! Not just the variety of colors, but the different kinds of Dahlias. Such a well kept garden.
There are no words to describe those beautiful flowers! Port Gamble is a lovely town. The houses and buildings were just beautiful. Such a neat, pretty town. Thank you so much for this video!!
Wow, you just showed me my dream town. But, l bet they get snow. Oh well... If they would like a tourism video, offer this to them. What a great job you did! If you ever put out a combo coffee table/audio book with all of your stills, and your narration, and the background music you select, l would absolutely buy it. Absolutely for myself and as gifts! Have you been a career photographer? You should be! If this is a self-taught talent, you have a gift. I bet you are very patient, to be able to get these shots. Have you ever taught school? You would be excellent at it. You can even make history interesting! Sorry that l've become such a blithering Fangirl, but someone has to do it! And l volunteered!
Port Gamble is like stepping back in time....a unique feeling of being there in their day . Washington State is gorgeous. Baskets of 💥Thank yous💥for sharing your talents🔖 and America's beauty.🇺🇸🎋❗🎼🎵🎶🏆
Like #184, very nice info, flowers, town and history telling by you, take all that and put in your videos, pulse the soft voice and thought behind it all your going to be even more in the YT and you should have your own web site to share even more, always leaving us relaxed and informed I think, Later
A fun place to check out. Dahlias grow well here. My fil grew a huge garden of them every year just like this. I love how this community takes such pride and keeps everything looking neat and tidy and well maintained. Yep, the trees start turning here about mid August. Thanks for the fun tour.
Good video Jimmy. Washington is beautiful in the summer time. There are a lot of hidden treasures here, And places to see. The smoke from the fires is a bummer though.
My grandmother and my mother loved dahlias. Miss seeing those in my mom's garden.. those were beautiful. The colors of nature are gorgeous.. loving all the cute little towns you're finding. My kind of travels.. safe travels...😎
OMGosh those flowers, I would not want to leave all that natural beauty! Another awesome video Jimmy, thanks once again for sharing your adventures with everyone. Many prayers for safe travels and explorations.
Those were beautiful flowers. WOW they were huge. What an interesting little community. Thanks for sharing this with us. Keep doing what you do, you are greatly improved. Just keep getting better and better.
Love the old buildings and the flowers are beautiful. It always makes me sad to see old buildings being torn down, I'm so glad that the people of Port Gamble kept them in such beautiful condition.
Everybody in the tribe can do a video of the same place and each one is unique (yours are very soothing relaxing and gentle) nice research and it's a beautiful town, Thank you
Beautiful neat town. All the buildings and homes in the video are so quaint and adorable. Nice to see it’s all kept up so well. Thanks for sharing and the post office bldg is sweet and the gardens are an impressive surprise. So many post offices today are bare out front, cold looking and some have some landscaping of a tree or bush, generically blah looking. Thanks for sharing Jimmy! As always a good eye, you left me wanting to see more😉👍🇺🇸🚐🌼🌸🌺🌲🌞
The musical "Seven Brides for Seven Brothers" was basically about men who worked as lumber jacks up in that isolated area needing brides to keep then warm at night. It's still of of my favorites. In the late 60s early 70s, there was a show loosely based on that story called "Here comes the Brides" staring a young actor named Bobbie Sherman. He became a teenage idol, the girls loved him, including me. I had a poster of him in my bedroom as a teen. The show had lots of beautiful photographs of that beautiful country. Thanks Jimmy, your cinematography skills are outstanding! Be safe. ❤️
I will join patreon. I'm running to day that I have to muster all my positive energy for. I ask myself what it would be like to live in such a doll house town, cute I would think.
Love Port Gamble and that old time feeling it gives off. Port Townsend just up the road is cool too with lots of old buildings and houses to enjoy also , you have to pass through Glen Cove to get there ! lol! (It's Wanda few cuh , lol)
If you get over to the mainland, in Seattle by Lake Washington, is Place called the University Of Washington Arboretum. It is large and beautiful with trails and gorgeous flowers and trees and shrubs. I hear that the smoke from the forest fires in the Cascades are making the air in Seattle pretty awful right now though so you probably want to stay over on the Peninsula for awhile. Lots of pretty things over there too. I was born and raised in Seattle (the north end) but met and married a good looking airman there in 1967 and so when he got out of the Air Force we moved to Joplin, MO where he was from. I always miss the Northwest.
That's a fox squirrel. Squirrels have a very high need for calcium. They chew on bones and antlers to get the calcium. What a cute town! The architecture inland Washington isn't that great. Its nice seeing a New England theme. It is very pretty there! Another great video!
WOW must be the most beautiful Post Office in the country. What a beautiful town, it's obvious they have a lot of pride, by keeping up their old buildings & home. Maintaining their history. I noticed propane tanks behind the homes, is that common there?
Oh my GOSH! I love that town! Thank you so much for taking me there virtually! Were those flowers fragrant? Those pictures made me think again of you opening an online photo gallery for people to purchase pictures, and other items you could make with pictures as graphic designs on shirts, hats, glasses, mugs etc. I've noticed other vloggers put watermarks across their pictures so that if anyone steals the image at least it will be known who actually owns the rights to the image. When they sell to buyer they remove the watermark from the copy sent to buyer. I look forward to you videos and following your adventures! Safe travels!
I love geology which is how I know that the Strait of Juan de Fuca is a very active seismic area - a subduction zone (I boned up on this type of info after experiencing the Northridge earthquake in 1994. I still live in Southern California and all of my knowledge won't save me if the big one hits - but, hey, mother nature can get you anywhere...
You're freaking me out! When you were in Bremerton, I though to myself I wished you'd go to Poulsbo, AND YOU DID! Then watching that video, I wished I could see Port Gamble, AND YOU WENT THERE!😲 How did we get this psychic link? 😏😂🤣Hahahahahaha. I wonder where I should think of next!, 😉 AWESOME video as always! 👍 👍
