EXPLORING THAILAND'S VIBRANT ANIMAL MARKET: WE FOUND GIANT MONSTER FISH
HTML-код
- Опубликовано: 3 окт 2024
- We stopped at an animal market in the outskirts of Bangkok. This place was much nicer than the first one we went to; the animals were taken care of, and all looked healthy. From birds, cats to dogs and giant fish, this place head everything! We did get some fish to ship back to NY for our exhibit.

Rods over there like I want I want I want ship ship ship. no wonder Kevin doesn't have hair 🤣🤣🤣
The chickens you saw, in Australia are called silkies, quite common here, a kind of bantam 😊
Pots and Pans will have a great life with you !!! Bonus I can still see them time to time :) Its always a good time with you two , thanks guys big love !
It makes me sick to see those people treating animals like complete shit keeping them in that cage in the intense heat looking like they are ready to drop dead
I agree especially knowing animal cruelty laws are nonexistent in Thailand
@@MikeGibson-l5e you do realize that those animals will be sold at the end of the day.
I lived 4 years in thailand bangkok. This is chatunchak market. I alwyas went there got wven my rabbits and dogs from there but it is always really sad to see the animals there….
I have really been enjoying these videos lately. Rod and Kevin seem like 2 really good guys that would be great to hang out with, and I say that as someone who usually hates being around people lol. If I lived in your area, when I had time to off of work I'd volunteer to help out for free at Predatory Fins!
i don't know why but it cracks me up everytime sam says "motherf*cker"
Thanks Guys for Another AWESOME Video, Watching your Videos Got Me Back into It 🐠👊🏻
I’m not much of a cat person, but that was the cutest kitten I’ve ever seen!!
scottish fold kittens
Totally enjoying all the content from your trip. Thank you both.
Awesome video today rod and Kevin you rock and happy Tuesday you always inspire me every day 💯👍💪💪👍💯
Sir you must go Indonesia and take a look, jatinegara fish market in saturday night, and Parung fish market too...
Banging on the glass... Nice
Ugh I hate seeing the cats, dogs, and all that stuff. But I'm with Kevin... I like seeing over the top. I miss his stingray pools. Even the way he used to unpack into the tubs and bowl. You can see them so much better. Even your pools at the back of the shop. I'd love to have a building like Paul, filled with those pools. Someday :)
This place was actually nice and the animals were taken cared of. Dogs and cats had fans on them to keep cool
@@PredatoryFins Oh good. Glad to hear it. That outdoor one a few weeks ago had me crying.
the variety of fish is crazy
Awesome video fellas 🤙🏻
The mekong stingrays ya’ll saw were Himantura Signifer (Dark brown/grey) and Himantura Kittipongi (Yellow) but not the true giant mekong. Altho the signifir grows huge
Love that I live in Thailand now. So many options for my aquarium
The prochilodus with the swarm of clown loaches was a great looking mix.
That eel looks like our Aussie short fin eel great shark bait
The chickens are called silky bantams.
The fluffy chickens are Silkys. They lay a smaller pale blue egg
As a Thai/lao/white guy I love seeing videos like this because I’ll be ready to go visit all my family members that I haven’t ever met yet and I’ll make them take me here 😅
These videos are so interesting !!! Loving these markets !
Oh my God, those huge Fishes...boah 😮 Oh no so many Plaaants, cool 😅🤩👌😍
1:45 giant mottled eel
Title of this video should be
Can we ship this 😂
Those stingray you guy are interesting in are Mekong Giant stingray, they are the biggest fresh water fish. And the black carb with big head and white belly also come from the Mekong. It grow to 3 meters long (about 10ft)
What's with the Albinos?😊 natural colors are way more interesting
Kudus from Portugal
@12:25 what fish was that 😮, I thought it was a dolphin
Same was waiting for them to tell us if it was protected or not
@@jamesloft3400 I mean I know my fish and I can name pretty much anything you put in front of me. But that 😯
Incisilabeo behri : Native Mekong cyprinid carp, pretty rare in nature, but captive-breed stock is available right now. This carp develops 'hump' when full-growth, to living in strong-current water.
@@sakesanworadamrong7561thanks I don't think that's the fish I was talking about tho as I looked up the name. Pause the video on exactly 12:31
@@justinstuart8382 That is Incisilabeo behri in a full-growth age.
You guys is exhibits are going to be one of the most unique exhibits out there your fish are going to rival any other aquarium out there yeah there's aquariums out there that's only going to wish that they had the fish that you guys have
Again another great tour BIG DOGGIE 💯🧑🧑🧒
Absolute beautiful I would love to shop there and all those plants. Awesome.
I lost track of how many times I swore going from tank to tank!! It's been a year since I had to rehome my Endlicheri because of my disabilities I couldn't look after her properly.
I'm still absolutely in love with Bichirs, I'm waiting for news about a pair Mkole Mbembe but no-one seems to be able to find them!
What is that Eel though!? That thing was incredible!
I love the videos of your trip to Thailand
That's a bream 😂
Whats the name of the market? Ive only been ti chatuchak but would like to visit that one.
I like your Asia trip series very much

That albino soft shell turtle was cool
You mean Sam knows how to say NO😂😂😂😂😂
Unlike those two 😂
Every second word can we ship this 🤣
For your next trip Can you make wild fish collecting videos deep in the Amazon and then ship them back to the USA. I seen aquarium co op has done it with very much success
“Can we ship that size? Can we ship that size? Can we ship that size?” 😂😂😂
We have lot of those Anguila Marmorata here in Indonesia😅
those was Bream you never saw before in video 4.00 time! have lots in the UK in ponds and rivers
I’d love to see you guys bring back some Mekong giant stingray but I think they’re endangered and on cities most likely
We call that Egat here in the Philippines. Mottled Eel. Very cheap, You can buy it alive for $7/kg
I would love to have the problem of "Everywhere we go to buy more fish, the van's not big enough" lol
Man! I wish we could have Snakeheads here in the US
The little red-line snakeheads look great when they are tiny. However, when they grow up they look like the big brown snakeheads they are catching in Florida. Back in the 70s snakeheads and piranhas were legal in the northern states. There were about 80 red-line snakeheads in a bag and I would wholesale about a bag a week into the Detroit area.
@@RickLowrance It would be awesome to have one now. To bad people are Jerks and ruined it for all of us by throwing them in rivers and lakes.
That eel looks like either a long fin or short fin eel. They are commonly found in Australian waterways.
Ty
chickens with fluff feathers:- silkys or frazzles
Can you share the location of this place? Would love to visit next time I'm in Bangkok
It's west of Bangkok in Ratchaburi, it's called Fish Village, you find it on Google maps.
@@andrewkelford128 thanks man
Rob, that some type of eel... Old people use it for medicine and the eel teeth so sharp... Also it can walk on land
I believe that the eel at 1:47 is an Indian mottled eel. Don’t really know for sure, but it’s the most likely species.
That eel is probably the Longfin Eel from New Zealand
It doesn’t look like it to me
Shout out to the Fish Guys!
2:32 that's a giant freshwater stingray right there, they can get as big as a car, im so shocked they are on sale, it is just impossible to care of one, except a public aquarium 🤯
that is the biggest Incisilabeo behri i've seen! Get them if you can as they are so rare!
I would love to get another red Snakehead one day
That eel is a moulted eel or Moray eel
Amazing fish u guys are in heaven 😂😂😂❤❤❤
U guy keep up the good work
Get a long fin eel already😁
Big Fish are expensive and difficult to up ⬆️ keep but worth the Effort 😅
The ell, in Indonesia we call it Sidat
18:28 is a Scottish fold
Fish eye's nickname sounds like "Fidgeye" sometimes hahaha
It’s fayjay
Fei zai
Rod x Kevin needs to have a TVshow.
What was that shark type fish at 24:40?
Sooooo cool!
Man you guys missed the red tailed giant gourami locally we call it Sabah Kaloi in Malaysia
Sam needs to come to America and work at Predatory Fins/Stingray Biology He's freaking hilarious he would be a great asset to the business.
We need him overseas so we can get all the crazy fish 😂
Bring some dwarf snakeheads back I know you can
The chickens are Japanese Silkie Chickens very common breed!
The knife fish is Chitala lopis.
Hands down the Asian Arowanna is my favorite. Don’t know if I spelled it right
The chickens are called silkies
Did he say a regular A you are you 😂
It seems you be a marble eel, look similar to species found in mauritius. 🤔🤔
17:13, those are silkies
Yo Rod you got any Albino Channel catfish?
Long finned eel i think
Can gro to 10ft long👍
Amazing
Great treat to see
So many rare fish
Great video
Thank you
Best wishes
From
California
Question I’m getting a koi and goldfish do you think they could live peacefully together?
Yes Will also hybridise
Silkie chicken. Fluffy feathers & black skin with blue ears. And they tend to have extra toes. Originates from China 😃
Iv got 6 here in the UK I use them to hatch rare breeds
Nice!!
Good thing I wasn’t on that trip, I would have spent too much on fish and would have come home with multiple dogs
How big was that NTT?
This might be a silly question but could you just rent a private jet and bring back with you all the big fish that you wanted instead of spending 3k per fish for shipping and your not even with them to make sure they survive. The question is how much would a private jet cost to come back to NY
Yeah it’s a very silly question to ask as to rent a private jet your talking at least 100x more money than paying on commercial flight
I looked it up before private yet for 4 people from New York to Thailand would cost the range of $606,960 to $834,570
It would be too much weight for a private jet
Theres never any silly questions, only silly answers 😅
Great question
Hey, great stuff, which eel is this ? I like it . The big one . Can you Show mee big fire eels maybe about 100 cm ? I never See it
Greetings
go live in Southeast Asia wildlife laws in a lot of cases are like Uncle Roger and food ''I can't eat that!!? ayaaa!!!''
