Nodirbek did way too many things that could be considered disrespectful (opening with a3, trying to provoke a blunder in a time scramble with a rook sacrifice in a lost position, wasting time with rook and bishop moves in completely drawn endgames…). I’m not saying this is a crime or even breaking the rules. I even understand why Nodirbek did what he did. It was a decent strategy and Ian maybe took it as too personal, but let’s not pretend as if he lashed out without any reason.
