i love that magnus and nepo high five best buddies
nepo looks kinda sassy as well
They are really strong!
Nepo has crush on magnus 💀
Zesty ahh five
That was gay
Magnus thinking for 64 seconds❌
Magnus cooking for 64 seconds✅
Magnus and nepo dapping after the win was the best part😂
Every match
Magnus and Nepo high fiving in relief - what a compliment to Arjun!
I think they high five is more because they won the tournament
Indian glaze xd
@@AmineChM21 they can never glaze enough
Weakens the queen side then cancelled the attack. A level above anyone else
Magnus sighs at the end ❤
Oooo he breathes. Oh my goodness, wow
9:15 "Put your rook there, I won't take it I swear."
My favorite part about this tournament was seeing Nepo friendly with Magnus and Nodirbek, considering he and Magnus are two great rivals, and he and Nodirbek had some drama recently on the SCC online.
They’re on the same team, so yes, they will congratulate a win
What are you on about? Magnus and Nepo have been on extremely good terms for like 15+ years now
10:48 god tier dap from my goat
Great to see The GOAT always takes time to set up the board after each game. A very modest and classy guy.
wow Magnus killed it with this one slowly, inevitably outplayed his opponent
Magnus is the GOAT!🔥🔥🔥
Hans is the real goat.
@@daygrindmike8913 I think you meant real cheater**

Arjun had set a nasty trap at the very end even in such a hopeless position
Magnus wasn't having any of it
What a beast😂
Arjun's nasty trap was resigning
Who made this hopeless position of arjun, think of it before saying😂
@@yourzeffff Who?
@@Phurngirathaana one and onlg magnus carlson
@@yourzeffffhmm i disagree it's Arjun's fault for being a lameass chess player i could probably win against him myself
Bro has experience of playing whole game in 30 seconds so these are all nothing for him 😂
Online vs On the board
@@Nafim-kv6rg I referred his game in World Rapid and Blitz 2022 , where he came 2 and half minutes late to the board and still managed to win the game.
@@chesswithsamarth1004 ohh i see.But still his opponent gave him opportunity. He played so slowly in that game to make the time even
10:48
the recoil on the dab was music to the ears
He can afford to stop and think. He plays so fast towards the end that his clock is effectively going backwards.
This video is so good!
99.9% of magnus videos are from the perspectie of magnus... and it is great to see, how he (how we!!) are destroying the opponent...but to see how hard it is to play him is great.
It explains, why his opponents almost always are in zeitnot
Magnus coming back to put his pieces back is so cute lol
6:47 when you know that you are winner, So proud Nepo
More satisfaying than Nepos handshake in 10:49 was Gustafson nicking in 10:50 :D
Nepo's reactions 🥵
So weird this celebration in total silence 😂
Other people might still be playing so it's rude to talk
Can anyone please tell me why at 5:18 black didn't castle? Thx.
I think the engine would say castle is fine, but humanly thinking the rook lift is coming both knights can jump in the queen and bishop aim at the king side… it’s asking for trouble in this time format. Because after castle your king is stuck behind the rook.
nothing wrong with castle, but in this kind of setups kf8 is pretty solid as well, and h6-g6 usually works well to expel any peace in h5, control g5 and rook on h8 backing h6 is enoguh to hang the structure for any quick attack
Goat is a goat is a goat... french, caros, pirc and modern. To Graveyard already in move 1.for Goat
Thanks for all The Videos and kudos to all the editing (great thumbnails & captions)👏
6:48 Qxh6+ followed by Bxh6# is illegal since the queen is pinned in case you were wondering.
noone wondering.
@@LazyAlphaX I wondered half a second
Cool. I didnt see it. Apparently, Arjun made it pinned right after Magnus move the queen in position.
That was a crisp dap up
Nerd.
GOOD PLAY BYY BOTH 🎉❤❤
ARJUN lives up to his Name, The Warrior 🏹
Eternal love for Magnus
What a come back
If magnus is taking time, he is thinking about your funeral process.
Has everybody started adjusting pieces lol?
I don't know if many people did this before, but it seems Magnus has left a big influence on these guys.
I did not see one person not adjust their prices.
everyone does it, but I don't think it's because of Magnus
Even I do it all the time, its just when world no.1 did it, people started noticing
I thought that this was a Kasparov habit
@@commentwarriorNah definitely not even remotely close to everyone
@@williamrobert9898 do you even play chess tournaments?
Arjun had defeated Magnus in another match..good to see new rising players are coming up, taking on and winning against MC..kudos..
Weird not to look at someone when you shake their hand
missing sagar shahs commentary
He is death
How was that the end of the game? Time? Obvious checkmate?
The end of the game occurs at 10:43 when they are shaking hands, black just resigned the game. You can shake hands to agree to a draw as well but if there were no draw offer ( and there wasn't ) then if you give your hand for handshake it means you are resigning and you lose.
@@golendorfjules1838please explain to me what '10:43' means in chess
Why did he resign?
@@peterhogeveen6499 White has Rook vs bishop and all of whites pawns are on opposite colors & whites king is set to gobble up all of the pawns and win easily.
It ok but from when on magnus started coming before time😮😮
Magnus' end game is so good.
I love the titles you use. You are really good at marketing what makes each game unique 😊
Should have taken with the knight instead of pawn
Yes
It's nice to see I'm not the only one with terrible time management. 😓
Magnus early to a game. Woah
omg so nerf wrecking those last couple seconds😂
magnus blasted away arjun once again
Endgame god
I really like Arjun. Even though he is a very weak player, I like his style and I support him a lot
Very weak player? Stfu if you know nothing about chess thanks
It wasn't rematch,it was revenge 😅😅😅
nepo got a zesty ahh high five
Arjun really is a beast mode player.
It's just mentally hard for anyone to undeveloped a knight or bishop knowing it's the best move.
7:52 is Magnus allowed to talk to other people during the game?
You SAW him do it and you still don't know?
Is this a tie or a resign game? I think at the end tue black still have potential to make next move?
How did chess masters like Nepo learn to extend their necks and traverse the chess floors to nail these iconic eyebrow raising headshots.
Who is the the player who give a handshake for magnus at thé end of the game please
Magnus remains like a monster ✨♟️✨👀👌
Why was there no checkmate with queen d2 h6 sacrifice following up with bishop takes h6 and than knight guards the other squares I tought. But I’m missing something and I don’t know what.
Got it the queen is pinned 👍
Erjun’s bishop needed to be in the opposite diagonal quarter.
Magnus Carlson=MC
MC= main character
Who is Carlson?
Magnus Carlsen ❤🥰 my favourite 🥰
magnus missed mate in 2 ..it was easy mate queen sacrifice ...Qh6 Rh6 and Bh6 mate
ohhh queen was pinn
Arjun is India's Best, after few more games, he would be unbeatable.
10:46
6:54 mate in 2 if queen isnt pinned.
Magnus...jago
Take a look guys ♥️💜💜💜
nepo is a potterhead look to his arm at the end of the video the symbol of the deathly hallows
Why aren't they castling.they were also supposed to trade queens
What if from the position of 7:11 black sacrifices the knight and if pawn takes bishop takes pawn and queen is trapped right?
Do you mean sacrificing with Nb4? White has the knight on c2 defending b4 as well.
10:48 perfect dap!!??
Clearly lovers
It wouldn't be surprising that Carlsen needs 64 seconds in a closed strategical position. I don't know how many players would dare to play the French Defense against Carlsen after all. Fact, Carlsen has faced the French Defense much less than 1% of his total career games.
the dap up is so crisp
magnus is strong when it comes to Blitz. How many times has he been champion
Magnus is 7 times blitz champion, and magnus is strong when it comes to chess,he is the best in every format
Magnus the best chess player in the world. Love him.❤
Who won..?
Who do u think
Why do I see nepo always sitting beside magnus?
5:15 misclick?
Black should’ve left the queen side alone and tried to make knightb4 work
damn magnus and nepo are boys?
Ván cờ này rất chị là hay❤
Love this
I love your commentary but now miss it
Who's win?
Who won between Nodirbek and pranav venkatesh on the side board
Pranav
Where's the commentator.. bring back the commentator
Who won this?
magnus
6:37 After Nf6, why didn't Arjun just take on f6, trade queens and then play Nd7? There's no way for Magnus to defend the pawn and basically no counterplay?
I would never trade a bishop for a knight because, in the endgame, a bishop is generally stronger than a knight. In this game, Arjun's king is on a dark square. If you trade your dark-square bishop and queen, and Magnus manages to keep his dark-square bishop, it will be challenging for Arjun. Additionally, after Bxf6, the game could turn upside down if the moves aren't precise, as you would have opened up your position, and his rook is already on g3. Magnus can keep his rook there, and after a few trades, he can bring his other rook to c6, making it difficult to manage in a blitz game, especially against someone like Magnus.
