Geoff always brings great originality to his pieces, and it never fails to be entertaining. He's such a great artist. If you haven't checked out any of his work with the a cappella group, VoicePlay, I'd highly recommend it. Geoff is among other vocal giants in that group, and fwiw, they do immensely fun Halloween pieces (several from the Nightmare Before Christmas, among others; they have an entire playlist for the holiday).
Yes when he is showing off his full range is very fun. I had to laugh a little bit early on you commented that Dracula Jeff looked like a vampire and I'm sitting there going yep yep. But he loves Halloween so much so it's always entertaining to watch his videos.
I enjoyed him slipping the toccata and fugue in d minor "la-la-la"s and fur elise at the end. The depth of his arrangements are fantastic! In case folks didn't know, that was his wife dancing at the end (she also did the makeup and I believe does production work for him and Voiceplay as well).
The a capella group that Geoff's in, VoicePlay, made a spectacular cover of Hoist the Colours from Pirates of the Caribbean. Geoff did the arrangement and it's just incredible. I'd love to see you react to that one!
The dancers represent Dracula, Wolfman (complete with fleas) and the Frankenstein Monster. Another, much cleverer, viewer described them as Dr. Geoff, VladGeoff, WolfGeoff and FrankenGeoff. Since I read comments, I also learned that the dance moves emulate Frankenstein strangling, Wolfman slashing and howling at the moon and Dracula swinging his cape. I thought that the hug was Dracula wrapping himself up in his bat wings, but another viewer thought of the Mummy. I love WolfGeoff's hip swinging and the monster flossing at the (ahem) end. Also the opening la la la portion has a bit of Toccata and Fugue and the last bit is the last, if discordant, notes of Fur Elise. On his Patreon page he introduces the song with apologies to Bach and Beethoven.
I just realize your costume was Belle from beauty and the beast…And, I assume those are the best claw marks! Wonderful costume. And I appreciate your comments on this version of the monster mash, which is outstanding.
It's tempting for me (as one whom has a lower bass range) to try my best at singing along with Geoff. I can't hit some of those really low notes he can yet.
One thing that nobody has mentioned, to make this whole production possible Geoff had to use a 'click track'. No big deal but unlike other producers who edit out the click track during post production, Geoff turned it up a bit and put it in the song. Brilliant!
I think you would enjoy headless horseman by Geoff c and my mother told me. By voice play a Viking hymn and Geoff show's off in it too great work would love to see you react to this thank you
Tauri Reacts The four chara3 that Geoff is aying in this video is from left(Geoff seated) is Dr. Frankenstein then Dracula, the Wolfman( you'll see him scratch fleas) and finally Igor. Also notice that in some instances each of the e standing characters have different dances, i.e. the Wolfman doing the cha cha.
Tauri I always liked your Dimash reactions. So genuine. He’s got a few new ones out. Stranger and Ave Maria ( not what you’d expect). You might check them out. Peace Out
have you listened to (Far over the Misty Mountains Cold) by Geoff Castellucci, or (Misty Mountains Cold) by Peter Hollens and Tim Foust. Yes think The Hobbit.👍😁
Love Geoff's singing. The lady he danced with is his wife btw
I guessed right!
Yes that is kathy

You'll forget there aren't instruments in that last part of Friends On the Other Side. Geoff and Layne really got off the chain there!

Omg Tauri…
You’ve just introduced me to the most creative and talented Mr Geoff Castellucci…
Love his work…
This is one of my favorites, and that's saying something. He's got quite the sense of humor!

If you look on Geoff’s channel, he’s also done a reading of a creepy Roald Dahl story! Gave me goosebumps!
The red tie guy is Dracula. But the hip-swinging middle Geoff (wolfman) is my favorite.
The third “Geoff” flossing is my favorite part. 😂
Love your Dress Tauriel. And your reaction are genuine. Geoff make a great cover version 🙂👍.
Geoff made it more fun. I first saw Bobbie Picket sing this on Dick Clarks American Bandstand back in 1964. I was 10 years old lol
I prefer Bobby's version.
@@ChrisPage68 Have you seen the one that himself Boris Karloff did?
Geoff is literally a musical genius!

Thank you very much for using my music. 🙂🙏
Классный образ у тебя!!!😍👍
The long red hair looks really good on you
You’ll love the headless horseman song
Justin Johnson
"Every Gull's Crazy 'bout A Shark Dressed Man"
😄😄😄

You need to see Geoff's cover of Blackbird a Beatles cover. He does a 5 part harmony arrangement.
7x 3 cant get any better 🥰🥰🥰
Grandgrandpa here: The screaming Lady is Missus Katy. Also work the Make Up
Well since this was a Halloween Week reaction there is one more that I see you haven't reacted to is Geoff's cover of The "Headless Horseman" song

I think you'd really enjoy Voice Plays Oogie Boogie from A Nightmare Before Christmas.

The jerky movements were made by slowing down the music to about 75% during the recording and then speed up the film in the edit.
You should check out the original by Bobby Pickett from 1962.
Forgive me Tauri but you haven't reacted to Dimash so please react to one of his new songs AVE MARIA. It has no lyrics it's vocalization.
