I've seen lots of those sores on bass here in wa in lakes where they spray. I even caught a big one that had a giant tumor growing off of one of its eyes a month after they sprayed it. Those chemicals that kill of the vegetation definitely harm them in my experience. And in years prior to the spraying, I never caught a bass with those sores on them so I'm convinced it's the spraying that's doing it.
That’s what I’m thinking too. I’ve seen similar things before when they’d spray. It has to majorly impact these fish. I believe just like it killing the grass, it weakens the immune systems of our fish and makes them susceptible to sores and disease too
Thanks for all you do to help us fishermen out. Funny you mention those two jigs. Yesterday I was fishing with my buddy - we couldn't catch anything. We threw chatterbait - wacky rig because the band wete suspended. Well - we tied on those two jigs with a different trailer and started catching. In an hour and a half later we had boated over 20 bass. Not a bad morning.
Ah yes.... the parade is in town. It's not just Michigan. That happens in Vermont too. I won't fish one of my locals on the weekends because it drives me nuts.
@brnowak_fishing so it be more of like a finnesse style fishing then with like 12lb line maybe. Alright thank you for your response though I appreciate it. And great informative content thank you.
Same here. I don’t understand who funds the spraying. I’m curious if it’s not also DNR doing some of the spraying, which I’m pretty sure it is. Better than chopped grass everywhere I suppose
I don't know which lake you're on but pratt lake just north of you is horrible for pontoons doing circles on the lake really close to where you fish...
Awesome video Ben❤️
Bro that song at 12:50 could go platinum. I do happen to agree
Haha the best musician ever lol
Yeah spraying isn’t great for the fish, but keeps the grass at bay
"Small jigs aren't just a smallmouth bait, they work on largemouth too" lol

Guessing 12 lb test and a 3 power for the sniper ? I keep bending the hooks out on 15 and a 4 power Dobyns
I’ve never had a hook bend but I’m using a MH with 14lb. The TFO MH bends further in the blank

That’s so awesome Alan. These jigs have been crushing it for me the past 2 seasons, particularly the OW Sniper
Any tips for St. Clair mid July . Thanks

Saying goodbye to an old friend 😢 Look forward to the new ride 😎👍
Thanks Victor! Sweet new ride incoming soon :-)
So when do we get to see a unveiling?
Unveiling coming soon! Hopefully by Sunday or next week :-)
Quick question would you fish a 1/4oz football head swing jig head style jig and if so when would you as well?
It’s not something I throw, but could see if working well to replace a shakey head or on a spinning rod

yep , spraying mess's up the fish no one can explain why the people who live on the lakes have right to spray them they do not own the water

Yeah lots of the small lakes I fish, they will drive up right next to you without any concern
I don't get it but I guess that's part of fishing
Oh don’t worry, spraying lakes full of chemicals. What could go wrong?……Baaahahaha
Pike are the worst lol. This lake sets up very similar to some of the largemouth lakes I fish near Kenora
