The Philippines is much better than you claim it to be. It is also much cheaper than $1,500 especially if you live in the provinces. Go to a safe, beautiful place like Camiguin Island or Bohol and you will see that this is true. I have been here for over 20 years and would never go back to the USA. Also, English s a second language here.
