- Based on "Captain Planet and the Planeteers" - A group of five young adults bestowed with the powers of earth, fire, wind, water, and heart, begin their journey on the road to becoming protectors of the Earth.
This film was shot on a Canon T2i and principal photography only lasted a single day in upstate NY at the Mohonk Preserve.

This is easily the best fan film of Captain Planet ever. I wish this could be a legit series

Cast was excellent. My favorite is the actor who portrays “Kwame.” You did such an excellent job. Especially when you say the famous line “we must let our powers combined.” I had chills down my spine once he said that. Excellent work. Not a fan of the design for Captain planet or the voice of Gia, but everything else is excellent.
Captain Planet looked amazing! I loved the burning hair and auric glow around him, awesome!

Not only that the action figures were just as cool. The mixture of an environmental message and just creative coolness of a cartoon makes it the best.

I've been watching alot of Captain Planet right now, it's given me the mood to try to make my local Raisin' Cane's that I work at more environmentally safe, everytime I get scheduled to work there, I always get pumped up to clean up around here since I'm a floater (that means I clean up all the shit around the place) & I'm the only one who does the freaking sanitation checklist most of the time
but that being said, I really like what this show is doing and kind of had the idea of having a reboot of the series where it has the Planeteers turning into there own superheroes, fusing with eachother in different combinations to make new ones, but still summoning their powers to create Captain Planet [and the heroes' designs would be based off the Elemental Heroes from Yugioh GX (with Neos being shown as Captain Planet and the Neo Spacians being shown later in the series as pets for the Planeteers and powerups for Captain Planet, leading to Neos's Fusions)
the only episodes I have problem with is the ones that talk about Overpopulation ("The Population Bomb" & "Numbers Game"), I mean I don't think the problem is that there's too many people in this world, I think the real problem is that there are too many people who don't understand the importance about being eco-friendly, so I think people have a right to have how many kids they want as long they have the responsibility, money, and caring to do so and that they teach them how to protect the environment, instead of making third-and-later born children of their family feel like they're the problem
also I want Warner Bros to do a Direct-to-DVD movie of this series where they it's about how companies use Recycling in their public marketing to get people to waste and buy more, and that we should focus more on reusing and reducing what we use instead of thinking that all we need to do is recycle only
but what do you think?
I enjoyed this up until Mah Tee he looks older than the rest of the cast when he's the youngest. But this was a kickass fan made video.

Omg this is perfect.
Love the idea of this being a live action series. But when Captain Planet was finally revealed...he was rather scary. The glowing eyes, fire for hair and the voice made him seem monstrous.

Doing a subversive take for a superhero that hasn't been revisited in 25 years that is also a "sequel" to an animated show and making him depressed and washed up isn't the way to reboot and re-introduce Captain Planet to a new generation. What's wrong with doing an all new origin like what Power Rangers is doing?

am i crazy that someday when i'm just sitting watching tv that i suddenly see a REAL live action Captain Planet The Movie
Its definitely about time we see the good stuff like this back out there, enough with bayformers type of stuff-- don't want it being just another superhero flick though, if they do it, I like to see it modernised and relevant to today, with a good mix of entertainment but also factual and serious and daring with the topics that speaks to everyone!!! about the environment- wars- etc.

What Captain Planet show really managed to teach us: Australia doesn’t exist!
Was Austrália or some Oceania country envolved in WW1, WW2 or Cold war? Because the show was managed to It too, like try to unite the countries in a thing.

Change the look of captain planet a little bit. A little faster on the summoning. Make it as close as possible to the show. I would watch it. On of my favorite shows growing up. The power is yurs!!
