Guys, vengeance won't change the past but it can change the future, for most of the people. That's why i love Vengeance more than Batman. So this monologue of leaving Vengeance personality was a bad score from me for him. Batman's that one quote almost feels like an excuse for becoming from Vengeance to Batman.

1 Corinthians 15:1-4 Christ Died for our sins according to the scriptures, and that He was Buried, and that He Rose Again the Third Day according to the scriptures. Accept Christ as Savior and BELIEVE in Him and what He did for YOU at the Cross, God LOVES YOU so much that He gave His Only Son to Die for you so you can have Eternal Life Through Christ and have a Relationship with God The Father. We are living in the Final Seconds of the End of Days God told us about through the Holy Bible more than 2,000 years ago. The Dispensation of Grace we’re in is VERY QUICKLY Coming to an End, Christ is Coming back for us so much SOONER than any of us Think!!!. Give your Life to Christ Now while He may still be found because once the Rapture takes place, The Great Tribulation will immediately begin ( 7 years of unspeakable horrors ).Your Next Breath is NOT guaranteed, and if you die without getting Saved you will spend Eternity in Hell separated From God forever. Normal is NEVER coming back, but Christ is, Call on Him Today for He’s waiting for you with Open Arms and No Matter what you’ve Done, God will Forgive you, the ONLY sin He won’t forgive is Blasphemy against the Holy Spirit ( Unbelief ). Christ is The Way, The Truth, and The Life, The ONLY WAY to The Father and The ONLY WAY to Heaven. If You were to die Today would you go to Heaven or Hell? Make the Right Decision Now for your Soul depends on it, DO NOT WAIT. Stay focused and Stay Planted in God for our Time on Earth is Almost Over,God Bless You all and get Right With God for we are going Home.

People are forgetting that the change wasn't for Batman alone. It was also for Bruce Wayne. At the start of the film, Bruce concentrates on his crusade against crime as Batman so much that his personal life also becomes reclusive. Alfred notes that his personality, demeanor, and outlook were destroying Bruce as much as Batman wasn't doing anything against crime. The change is apparent, when Batman beats up the thugs that were attacking the innocent guy, he pleads to Batman to not hurt him, even when he has saved him. In stark contrast, when he rescues a woman and places her on the airlift, she doesn't want to let go, signifying her trust in Batman. The same happens for Bruce Wayne, who's called reclusive and when he visits the funeral of the mayor, the new mayor-elect reminds him that although his company is helping people, he's not doing much by her standards. After Riddler exposes everything about Thomas Wayne and his dealings, no matter if true or not, the image of Bruce's family was tarnished. Though he's made an impact as Batman, he still has to ensure his image is cleared and he as a person now has to do better. So in a way, he's finally changing his ways as per Alfred's request.

Also, I thought it was a metaphor behind penguin looking from a high position while seeing the city under water. He’s a penguin and they can swim well while others can’t swim as well. I will always love seeing a rough and tough Batman, but it seems most of the time the major movie studios only care to focus on the angry or depressed side of the character. Yes those are integral parts to Batman as a character, but so is his compassion, his care, and his understated optimism.
Batman has always been a symbol of fear to the dangerous, but he’s also a symbol of hope to the everyday people of Gotham… and I’m so glad they’re allowing Rob’s Batman to embody more of Batman’s personality that makes him so cherished and beloved to fans all over the globe for almost a century now!

“Our scars can destroy us, even after the physical wounds have healed. But if we can survive them, they can transform us. They can give us the power, to endure... and the strength to fight.”
this is the best that Batman has ever been on screen, tv or movie, live action or animated. this movie understands Batman fundamentally than any other project. not to discredit BTAS, but it mostly focused on the development and philosophy of its villains, and it focused a lot on the anger and perseverance of Batman, which is great. but this movie is the real first to focus on Bruce realizing he can be more than a symbol of fear, or a selfless martyr. Batman can be all those things, and this movie does that well too, but hope will always be more important than fear. BTAS focused on Batman discovering that hope for himself, but this movie does not only that, but it shows that Batman is a symbol of hope and transcendence of pain for others as well. i love this movie, i love almost all the others, and goddamnit i love Batman.

@Edward Mercer If you want a short and simple answer, its because modern audiences are cleverly conditioned and programed to enjoy mediocrity. If you want the longer answer its because of these 3 things: 1️⃣- MCU movies are all about the momentary enjoyment. Theyre like products. People consume them, enjoy for a short period of time and studios produce another one fast enough before the audiences lose interest or realize the mediocrity. Now what do they decorate/sugarcoat these products with? . "OH WOW CAMEOS, OH BIG CGI FIGHTS. OH POST CREDIT SCENE THATS GONNA MAKE ME GO WATCH THE NEXT MOVIE THATS PROBABLY GONNA HAVE THE SAME FORMULA." and apparently recently studios have found out that bringing old nostalgic characters attracts even more people to watch so im guessing we're gonna have wayyyy more of that in the future MCU movies just for the sake of the cashgrab. (Disney worships the smell of money). 2️⃣: People are cleverly and indirectly taught to enjoy these type of "products" without caring for the actual content...they dont care for an actual original and moving story cuz nowadays who the fuck cares about that as long as we have flashy CGI filled blockbusters that are pouring down on us like rain? See? Theyre pleasing products, sometimes there are even specific scenes made and directed at a specific group of people (e.g. that lame gIrL pOwEr scene in endgame). Hell they even make entire movies just to please SJWs (cough captain marvel cough).
3️⃣- True comic book fans and true cinema fans are very very few nowadays. People who genuenly enjoy things for the heart and the content who also have an actual understanding of what theyre watching, arent many, especially in this generation. Both of these groups enjoyed the hell out of The Batman, Spider man trilogy, Daredevil ,Nolan trilogy...etc. These movies/shows were made with nothing but passion and heart. A lot of time and passion was put in these pieces by people who actually cared and wanted to gives us...something valuable to come back to and still rewatch after years and years Thats what makes us call them Cinema. Theyre quality films, not products. Great story telling, great performances, moving cinematography, symbolism, literature...real art. The Batman took almost 3 years to come out. In these three years Disney spammed us with like...12 to 14 products (shows included). See the difference? Personally I dont think anyone can truly believe that Black widow or shang chi were better movies than the batman. They might even say it but deep down, its not what they truly believe.
Sorry for the long answer. I didnt mean to disrespect anyone or their taste. I understand that MCU has its own audiences and fans ( maybe 80% of the world population at this point). I just stated my own opinion . Peace✌

Haha very funny. Both iterations have merit. BvS’s redemption is more focused on Batman many years inti his career realizing the sadistic killer he was becoming when he is about to kill Superman, leading him to go on an arc of redemption for ZSJL where he becomes the Batman we know and love, while The Batman doesn’t have other DC connections and is more focused on Batman in year two of his career becoming a symbol of hope for Gotham City in which he will become the Batman we know and love.
Both are emotionally and conceptually strong in their own right. You’re just using this movie as an opportunity to c**p on Snyder, which doesn’t make you a true fan of Batman as both versions have their own merit. You’re allowed to love this movie without hating on Snyder, who had no hand in this movie. If you hate his movies, fine, but don’t be an arrogant prick about it.

@@campbellblk7484 What you call bad writing the majority calls deep and complex writing. I wasn’t gatekeeping shit until you accused me of such. I told you that if you love The Batman (or hate Snyder’s interpretation) then fine, but don’t be an arrogant prick about it. I already said you have the right to your opinion, so you reiterating that to prove a point is just you grasping at straws. It’s typical with you toxic anti-Snyder trolls that you call my simple comparison an excuse for bad writing. I was not even saying Snyder’s was better than Reeves. I was saying both have merit. What’s so biased about that?

I love how at the beginning of the movie when he's Vengeance the song Something in the Way plays normally (a pretty dark song). However, at 2:05, they add cheerful sounding violins over Something in the Way. To me, the violins represent him becoming Hope from Vengeance. This movie has great replay value, can't wait for the next one!

This is a superhero film like few others that make the viewer think they can be a hero, not by swinging from rooftops or wiping out a room full of criminals, but by transforming their pain, recognising that even though blind vengeance may give some relief all it really does is transfer pain to others and keep the cycle of misery and suffering going on. You HAVE to bear the weight of your own suffering and transform it into something positive and hopeful. THAT is the most heroic thing you can do.
