Funny you say that because In the real battle; Alpha Company which is being showed here were actually ordered to fix bayonets for this finale push, sadly there's no mod for an m16a1 w/ bayonet otherwise they would've had them in this scene. thank you!
Dude this looks so good omg! I wrote a nam movie last year I think it was, but I scrapped it three times due to difficulties but the main character who’s com-sec intelligence II corps has to make his way up to a small village near Saigon. He’s dropped in through the Tet offensive but the Huey gets shot down and it’s about him telling his story in the past tense as he delves into madness in a hotel room back in his childhood mining town. His mission is to retrieve a dossier that will lengthen the Vietnam war and he has to kill another U.S. soldier who tries to damage the dossier due to good intentions however, the horror of murdering another U.S. soldier is drilled into the main characters mind like a frontal migraine and that’s all he can think about. The film didn’t have a happy ending either. However, the film was nearly too complicated as I was under skilled at MACHINIMA at the time, but I might work on it again later this year.
Very cool and interesting concept, shame you had to scrap it. I actually had begun work on an old LZ X-RAY 4/5 years ago but I had to end up scrapping that due it being too complicated and me being under skilled at the time too, If you have the motivation I highly encourage you to give it another shot!
@@toxicboltz2967thanks brother. I’ll definitely try it again later this year. I’m currently working on a comedy film about the Yakuza set in Japan during 1992 called Otto’s Bogus Swordfight.. Also if you need any actors for soldiers in the 20 - 25 age range, I’d be happy to help out :)
