@@ippeimorita damn dude its nice seeing that you still skate. I stopped skating a while ago but seeing you skate again makes me want to start skating again but i have no friends anymore to skate with. After high school they all went to the military. I dont know if you remember me i used ti be named psy destroyer lol.
123 456 I never quit in the first place 😂 if you like it, do it. I’ve had a lot of times where I skate by myself. Go to the skate park and make some friends dude
Ippei Morita I know that you didn’t stop skating I’m just saying that seeing you skate makes me want to get back into because you seem to have fun. I’ve been out of shape too so that makes it somewhat hard but I’m still trying. Still have my Casper flips on lock though.
I went into the store tonight looking to buy a pair of janoski shoes cuz they break in fast and look good. These shane O'Neil shoes where comfy and look a lot like janoski's and break in just as fast. I'd suggest to anyone, buy a pair of these Shane O'Neil shoes! Good review too btw man.
Thanks man! I used to prefer Janoski's more, but I think I love Shane's more now. Hard to say, but I've been wearing two in a row other than the ones in this video
Damn that sucks I got the shoes today, oh well, but yea adidas is amazing in terms of durability, especially the ADV, only problem with vans are the soles have a hole in them after a while
It's definitely a hard pick. I'm still skating them right now, and I think I like Janoski better, but I haven't skated them in a while, so not sure haha
I think I've been liking the Shane overall for skating more, but I like the Janoski look a little more. The flick and board feels more solid on the Janoski to me, but it's all preference
So, this is a great shoe, I wanted to try this shoe for so long and I finally pulled the trigger and got a pair, however I skate mostly cupsoles, the thinnest shoe I’ve skated in like the last year were the Nyjah 2s, and I’ve been skating that shoe consistently, so it’s taken me quite a bit to adjust to this shoe, some tricks feel better and some feel worse, but I’m not 100% used to it though, but I’m used to using more of my foot when I ollie and do some tricks so I still ripped that top lace, but then I just tied them at the second lace hole and they were fine, I really like this shoe, I like the feel and the grip of the shoe, but I don’t know if ima switch to it over the Nyjah 2s, I think the Nyjahs are almost a perfect shoe, the only reason I decided to switch from them in the first place is I wanted a shoe with more grip, I guess I gotta keep skating them to get a real good idea
Nyjahs were the only shoes where I ripped the laces in so long. I stepped on poop, so I stopped wearing them before they ripped. The ventilation part wasn't it for me. You should try the Ishods, maybe you'll like those. I got mine the day of release and I plan to post a full skate test and shoe review this week or the next!
@@ippeimorita As soon as I would get a pair of Nyjahs, I would put super glue on the lace loops and the part of the mesh my heel flips contacted and I wouldn’t tear anything, but I’ve been thinking about trying the ishods, but have seen they aren’t as durable as the Nyjahs
Good video bro! I have a question: What about size? I am 8.5 us in nike sb stefan janoski and delta force; and 8 us in other models, like nike drop type. What size do you recommend me? Greetings from Peru🇵🇪
I would recommend trying them on a skate shop in your case. They're wider than the Janoski's for sure if you had those in the past. I would say they're the same length though. Just get the size you always wear for Nike SB's if you've had any in the past. Hope this helps
I feel like skate shoe progression has went backwards and or stalled out....The shoe string issue , thread issue and cushion in the heals is all fixable but IMHO skate shoe companies don't want to actually make a "longer lasting " shoe its counterproductive for their bottom $$$$ . 1) simple shoe string flap cover protects the strings from fraying. 2) design a real full ollie cap cover that stops wear in the obvious places. 3) NO EXCUSE! THICK HEAL PADDING MADE WITH SOFT RUBBER CUSHION. they keep making shoes with stitching lines right where you ollie....They also leave the strings exposed its so annoying and the cushion that's just flat lack of care . These pros have the ability to make a longer lasting better shoe BUT since they get their shoes for free and change them out every week they have zero need to care. I wish these pros would remember where they came from and that most folks can't buy a new pair of shoes every 3-4 weeks. I could design a real skate shoe that skaters would love and ...I think most other skaters could do the same, its not rocket science.
Solid point that has never crossed my mind tbh. I wonder if pros have meetings where they say we can’t meet that requirement bc the shoes would last longer and decrease profit 🤔
Damn nike should just sponsor you, just watched this vid and I’m already thinking of buying some shoes😂
Sick review homie and it's awesome to see ur shredding again ! I'm definitely copping these once they go on sale hahA
Max Daniels first comment 😅 comments were disabled, wish I could’ve heard other insights, but yeah I’d love to get more when they’re cheaper for sur
@@ippeimorita hahaha i was wondering why there wasnt any other comments my man haha, and ye for sure same here! Sick video as always my man Ippei!

Hahaha me too, prefer these Shane's more surprisingly. You got good style and trick's, let me know if you ever come toward Washington State.
Just bought them yesterday and they’re amazing!
How did they hold up durability wise
GotStuckInABottle pretty poorly, they lasted me two weeks
GotStuckInABottle nike skate shoes aren't good in durability, you'd be much better off getting an Adidas or Vans skate shoe, Trust me.
Damn that sucks I got the shoes today, oh well, but yea adidas is amazing in terms of durability, especially the ADV, only problem with vans are the soles have a hole in them after a while
@@msnx19 are they true to size? Or run a little big or small?
Bro! You’re really good. Love all the tricks and love the shoes! On my second pair now
is that the skater xl courthouse
That willie grind flip out though 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽
Damn dude you're so good
love you bro
So would you pick the shane model over janoskis?
It's definitely a hard pick. I'm still skating them right now, and I think I like Janoski better, but I haven't skated them in a while, so not sure haha
The janoski model has a longer tongue than the shane O'neil model so I think the O'neil is more comfortable.
I like your review keep it up and thanks 👏👏
Oh shit I didn’t know you lived in the Fullerton area, your vids are sick man keep it up!
Thanks man!
That fakie willie fakie flip out was🔥
Is that miraloma skate park?i live so close

1:13 Willy is rare nowdays, great review
i dont know how to skate but i like the shoes.
im in love with these shoes.
this is a nice review man
Sir? where did you buy your sock?
Pls help me decide 😭
Janoski or shane o'neill

what would you say is the best nike sb to skate in
I think it's all preference man. I like the Shane, Bruin, and Janoski's
Ippei Morita Oh my god you actually replied but thanks man i will try to get one of those pairs next

I wear the same size in Janoski and Shane, but Shane is a little wider
Thanks for the review! Do you going half size up would be okay? I'm worried about having too much toe room if I size up though. I have very wide feet.

good skating and nice review! thanks
Nice pick.
finally found a skateboard you tuber that is as good as me and isn’t a pro lol
Does that mean you suck at skating?
Ippei Morita nah man we’re average lol. good job on the vids!
Are these narrow like the janoski? I have wide feet and have to size up for the janoski
Did you watch the video? I’m pretty positive I said they’re wider
@@ippeimorita Ahh must of went over my head. I'll avoid this in the future.
ur hella good at skating and your styles perfect just wish the music was better like even jus carti or uzi or trav
I use those kind of music for my legitimate skate edits like the last 2 uploads!
damn ur really likable, good vids man!
Haha thanks
are these true to size? im a size 9.5 should i go 10?
9.5
