Agree with you. Build the roster like the 49ers, Eagles, and Chief did while giving DJ more time, if we get to a point where he has a pro bowlers around him and can't get it done, then we move up and draft a QB like those teams did.

Here is the great thing ..... the worst case scenario is the Giants have Odunze and Alt sitting at #6 for them to choose from ...... thats a pretty awesome worst case scenario. Giants are in great shape to get a great franchise type player if they stay at 6

We need a WR and CB. We only have 1 cornercorner Actually we need 2 corners. A QB will do nothing for us. If we pick a QB and DJ starts off 0-3 the media will start chanting play him. That will divide the team. Plus these QB’sare a long shot from becoming a franchise QB. Look at the success rate of QB’s drafted in the 1st rd the last 10 years. 3 months ago no one was talking about none of these QB’beside Caleb Williams. Now all of a sudden there great. Every year we go through this because we’re excited and then they all fail.Trevor Clarence,Mac jones,Zac Wilson,Justin fields and Trey lance. That was the 1st rounders 3 years ago. The year before that it’s worse. When there isn’t a lot of NFL talent they start saying he could be good in 3 years. That’s all B.S. we need A WR,CB,safety,Dl,linebacker We don’t need a QB that’s gonna be a project.Build the team and let’s see what happens next year. Don’t take a QB just to take a QB. Would yall trade for TE Jeremy Ruckert from the Jets? He is a really good catcher and blocker and with Waller retiring, we could get a good TE 1 for a late round draft pick before Ruckert shows his full potential. Plus he is a New York guy so he’d stay in his home state

The Giants need two things and two things only another speedy WR and a Lockdown CB a WR that runs a 4.3.2 with good hand and eye coordination and CB with hand and eye coordination that runs a 4.3.

I've been a Giants fan for 40 years. Long time of seeing players come and go, Daniel Jones is the deal. You just have to get him the pieces. When you have 1.2 seconds before you're being hit or pressured because the offensive line is that bad, unless your Tom Brady or Peyton Manning who gets the ball out that quick, you're most likely not going to succeed. The Giants have addressed the offensive line pretty decently, you get him Marvin Harrison Jr or Malik Nabers, and I'm telling you he will succeed. Been through a lot of quarterbacks over the years, he's got the tools and he's there. I love Marshall, but he has no idea what he's talking about when it comes to Daniel Jones. It's obvious. I've been watching the Giants longer than just about he's been alive. Marshall, you wear your emotions on your sleeve. Relax, DJ is the man, he will be okay.
I've been watching them for eight more years than you have and I agree with Marshall. I don't know what else you have to see to realize he is not good in the pocket. Turns the ball over too much because he doesn't look left and right and fumbles as a result..does not go through his progressions quick enough and some of the sack that he takes are not because of the pathetic offensive line ...they are because of his processing and holding the ball too long. Just look at his numbers over his six year career as far as touchdowns interceptions go and they are the numbers you would expect of a backup quarterback.

I don't think I have heard anything about it being more likely that we go WR in the first round rather then QB this is all just draft chatter from the media they don't know nobody knows most trades are made on draft day during the draft or right before the draft we could still get #4 pick get a top QB or JJ McCarthy could fall to us at 6 even if unlikely. I don't like the notion we could trade back in to the first round to get a QB or get the QB in second round no guarantees the QB we want is available later or that we do a trade or could draft back into the first round again if ifs and buts we're candy and nuts wouldn't life be sweet nothing is a guarantee draft your guy when you have your chance or get a better draft pick then 6
Stupid, like most mock drafts. Signing Runyan and Eluemonur and other offensive lineman as free agents is not going to make much of an improvement to this worse offensive line in football! Trade up and draft either Barton or Johnson and in the second round get the best DB on the board and with the extra second round pick in the trade draft one of the best WR in the draft, MALACHI CORLEY WESTERN KENTUCKY. Trade I like, Green Bay first, second and two three's.
