As someone who is an introvert who usually talks to myself better than other people, this is quite accurate, including the one that I love going to a room where all lights are shut and begins to imagine, talk, smile, and laugh secretly all by myself about fantasies and hobbies. And then being irritated when someone barged in into my room and caught me grinning and laughing at myself, I return immediately to "beast mode" and plans for countermeasures against "hostile extroverts" who is ruining my own world.

Life Pro Tip: talk to a cat or other pet, you can practice speaking, it feels less weird, and sometimes they'll even acknowledge what you said.
Warning: if you're out of practice, start with a dog, preferably a fluffy one. Most are just happy to have your attention. *whispers* Cats can be bad listeners, and when they do listen, they can be pretty judgey.

What sucks is when you choose to take the stairs to avoid the elevator with 1 person in it and then the floor you need to access is only accessible with a passkey. So you have to find the closest unlocked door, which leads you through a group of strangers wondering why you walked through their door...all of them asking if they can help you. Then you can get on the elevator you were avoiding and now instead of having 1 person, it's packed.

Thank God I'm an autistic person who only associates with autistic people (though still rarely as I am an introvert), almost none of us buy into all that "unspoken rules" bullshit. Social interaction is so exhausting because of all of the random nonsensical rules you have to follow and how everyone never says what they mean, so it makes no sense to make a point of exhausting everyone else.
Honestly, y'all neurotypicals are so illogical when it comes to that. It should be said that it's allistic people who have difficulties interacting with people, not autistic people, we're not the ones making up random rules under the delusion that everyone knows exactly what they mean while they so very obviously never do.

Frank, I have a question about RUclips growing pains. I’d post on your “College” channel, but I don’t know if you’d see it. Do you have any tips on how to stay true to yourself and your channel once people in your real life become aware of it?
Someone I care about has a channel and recently found out a few family members and casual acquaintances have seen it. She is proud that her channel is growing, but now she has stopped posting videos for the past 1 1/2 weeks. She says she’s embarrassed and finds herself either over-editing until she deletes the whole thing, or she starts being inauthentic and deletes it. She’s shown me a few of them before and after over-editing, and there is a marked difference. The relatability and endearing quality that probably helped her gain traction is now gone. She no longer feels comfortable being vulnerable.
In your early videos, you were so open, honest, and vulnerable. There had to be a point where you realised people from your private life had watched. How did you stay true to yourself and to your original format? Of course, at some point it altered and became less personal. It had to happen, but it seems to have happened much later. Anyway, I think you know what I’m asking. Do you have any suggestions or experiences you feel comfortable sharing?
Also, you have a video on haters, but how do you handle it when your channel starts to become successful and you begin to be a target for other people’s channels? I guess you can’t really answer that without becoming more of a target. I assume you just innately know that they are jealous and don’t have to do anything. Still, it stings her pretty badly, though.

@@lisarodriguez6966 Thank you, Lisa. She's going to call again tomorrow. I'll pass this on to her. In the end, she'll have to make a decision to either keep doing what she's doing or change. Either way, whether it's armor or callus, she'll have to develop a tougher skin if she want to deal with the public--or, in this case, family/acquantances. I also think it's one of those times in life where you realize who your true friend(s) and supporters are. Happens from time to time. I was wondering if it would be easier to "announce" it at the next get-together to get it over with or to let them find it on their own. It's a shame that, in so many areas in life, the people that should be happy for your success tend to be critical and jealous. As I'm typing this, I'm wondering if I'm doing this to someone else. 🤔
