With Super Mario All Stars. The value was quite impressive for 1993. As you get all three classic NES Mario platformers with improved graphics and sound. And this marked the International debut of The Lost Levels. I also like how they added a save feature. Which is convenient for Super Mario Bros 3. As the original game didn’t have a save feature. They even reissued it with Super Mario World as a bonus game in later revisions.
@@kayaozen5743 I think super Mario 64 was the only one upgraded in 3D allstars. That’s the power of the extra memory mapper chips they started putting in the games. The original SMB was pretty much the most you could squeeze out of a standard NES without adding extra hardware in the cartridges. Developers had to start adding extra hardware in the carts themselves to assist the NES and enable it to do things it had never been designed to do.

I think SMB3's original version was SNES'. After they made the game, they ported into NES.
The SNES versions objectively look and sound better, and that is an undeniable fact. Anyone who claims otherwise is just plain wrong. That being said, preference is the most important thing here. Someone can prefer a certain version for whatever reason they want, and no one can tell them they’re wrong. I personally prefer the original NES versions, they’re the ones I played first, and they’re the ones I have the most nostalgia for. The exact way those games look and sound is burned into my brain, and even though the SNES versions are better looking and sounding, they just don’t have that factor going for them. My brain keeps telling me that they just don’t look and sound they way they “should”.

Right:Soul-less

You want soulless you see the 3d all stars ports lol
best game ever any version
NES win.. sound FX an music sounds clear and better on NES.
I think SMB3's original version was SNES'. After they made the game, they ported into NES.

The NES Mario 3 is better.

Considering all the Genesis fanboys that hang around here, I couldn't resist lol

i think i'm one of the few that prefers the look of the original. i've been hating remakes since before it was cool!
Depends how it’s done. I think Super Mario All stars was done well and with passion. Better than the lazy Piece of crap that came out on switch.
@@homiedclown NES version is better.
@@homiedclown The NES version is glitchy and lacks a save feature. There are only few glitches in the SNES version. Nostalgia is the only reason to prefer the NES version. The SNES version has the kings transformed into actual Mario characters.

Soul vs Soulless
Genesis wins.
Whoops! Sorry... Wrong comparison! 😋
NES version is still the best
The background is distracting on snes
I like the NES one better
nes one does not look better but is better tough. nostalgia. it's a nes title, The uglieness ads to the time. Snes is mario.world.
