My favorite money making tip is to grow ancient fruit in the greenhouse and putting 5 of them into a dehydrator, you’ll get dried ancient fruit that’s ready to sell for around 4150g in one day!! (or 5810g if you have the artisan profession)
If you ever need to grow sunflowers, buy the seeds at Morris's! They go for cheaper there than they do at Pierre's!(I usually recommend this for early game playthroughs that focus on romancing Haley)
the lucky lunch is easily my favorite dish out of the cookbook so far, i've made it for my family twice now and we never have ANY leftover. it's so delicious
I just discovered you a few days ago through the Avatar cooking videos (amazing, btw), and it feels like you made this just to welcome me! You have such good vibes, I can't wait to see what you do next! As far as fishing in Stardew: it was really hard for me at first, I lost most of the fish I tried to catch, but now I love it and I'll spend entire in-game days fishing...I don't spam or hold, I do little taps. I think if you do a lot of fishing even while you're losing most fish, the ones you catch (including seaweed etc...) will gradually raise your fishing level, and once you're at a higher level it gets easier because your fishing bar gets bigger and you can make bobbers to help. I like the cork bobber and the trap bobber the best, they're what I use when I'm going for a really difficult fish. Or you could build a fish pond, because that gives you experience points too.
hii welcome!! i'm so glad my video reached you, happy to have you here 😊 and thank you for the tips! i just get so frustrated and i gave up on fishing for the most part LOL but i'll definitely give these a try!
Totally agree with the tapping method. The fishing mechanics always bugged me when I started playing and I even ignored it until the rest of my skills were level 10! Started using the tap method and oh my gosh it was so much easier lol
i'd personally love to see you try the blueberry tart. the curd is a fair amount of work but it was the most delicious thing i'd ever had when i made it
@@mich_mengo I'm so glad I could help! I'm a big pumpkin and squash eater and something about roasting it with the skin on and then just effortlessly having your soft roasted tasty treat ready to go is so much less stressful than trying to fight with them!
Great versions of some of the foods from a much beloved game! Fishing is neither a spam it nor a hold it down kind of mini-game. The idea is to keep that little bar behind the fish. It really helps to buy the beginner's fishing rod and just use that until you get the hang of it, which might take several levels, but for me, after failure after failure, suddenly around level 4 or 5, I got it. Before that every fish I caught bewildered me, like why did that one work and the last 5 didn't? lol You know how they say that you develop muscle memory when you practice a skill enough? It was like that. Stick with it, I think you'll get it. :)
For fishing since I have the same problem, my go to is hold a few seconds at a time and double click to stop the bar from bouncing too much. Hope that helps.
Yay, thank you for recreating dishes from my favorite game, this was such a fun watch 💖 on a sidenote, i love your editing style where you incorporate accents from the game (like the clock), so creative!
I just ordered my copy and wanted to find people trying out the recipes and i’m sooo glad i came across your video, this was so cozy and wholesome to watch!!🥹
if it's ok to ask, would it alright to request some foods from Pokémon? each region has a particular food of choice: Kanto - Crepes (according to Scarlet and Violet) Johto - RageCandyBar Hoenn - PokéBlocks (looks like a berry cube) Sinnoh - Poffins (soft fancy cookie) Unova - Casteliacone (vanilla ice creme cone) Kalos - Macaroons (another fancy cookie Alola - Malasadas (filled donuts with pancake-like fluffiness) Galar - Curry Hisui - Potato Mochi Paldea - Sandwich Subs, or many of the buyable food items like Paella, drinks, etc Kitakami - Peach Mochi (purple food coloring or ube) Blueberry Academy - Pizza, Milkshake, Loaded Fries, or the Special, which consists of Loaded Fries, Ramen bowl, a layered flan, and what looks like jelly beans
Not sure if you have figured out fishing yet, but: For fishing, it really depends on the fish's difficulty! You really have to use a mix of spamming, tapping, holding, and releasing the mouse button. The best advice is to practice. I recommend buying and using the training rod till you get the hang of it! It makes fishing easier, and you can only catch basic fish. Also, amazing video!!
What would you suggest substituting the lobster in the strange bun for for someone with a shellfish allergy? 🥰 Chicken doesn't seem like it would be good?
Just finished the video now and I love your editing! The recipes themselves were awesome too, since I don’t have the cookbook myself yet I’m looking forward to trying some of these soon with your guidance! Wish I had more advice for fishing though lol! I’ve caught every fish, and all I can really say is practice (and level 10 fishing) makes perfect!
HI love your videos! I know it was in the recipe but Please be careful when using activated charcoal. I know it was a small amount and I don't know your life, but it can absorb medicine you may be taking in your body rendering it useless as well as taking away vitamins in your gut from other food which stops you from getting nutrients. It really shouldn't have been in the cookbook at all, there's other ways to get black coloring without the risk or grim. It's unfortunately a common baking tool due to it being such a dark color and one small serving isn't going to kill you, but it's supposed to be used to help in a medical emergency not as food coloring.
AHHH this video was so much fun to make!! pls give me all of your stardew tips and i hope you have a lovely day 💌🧑🌾🌱🍓

adding that to my list!
Pumpkin pro tip, if you’re going to roast it anyway, just roast it in halves. Then you can separate the skin from the meat easily at less risk to you.
this is so smart!! this tip will def save me from a lot of future cuts 😭
