Aloha! A very instructional video on how to secure your inflatable boat to a trailer. Also for taking the time to add the links for the accessories. It's been a great help!
Thank you very much! I am using my transom wheels and a 5x10 utility trailer with a ramp to launch currently. Steep ramps, no winch, 18hp outboard...I'm too old for it. I am planning to build a trailer like yours. Thanks also for the parts list! The folding tongue looks great!
No center support under the boat. As long as the pontoons are center to the bunk, edges of the aluminum floor will be seating on the bunk as well. Take note the keel is deflated while on the trailer to avoid from rubbing. The center support is at the back to support the weight of the motor, thanks.
Thanks but I am thinking to upgrade to 420 in the future, 10.5 not enough room. My trailer is for 12ft boat, I would suggest to get 14ft trailer for your 420.
Is your boat rib or soft hull? I have a soft hull boat and i cant find a trailer like yours anywhere, with support so that i can transport my boat with engine mounted. How did you make the support on your trailer ?
Soft rib. I made the support for the transom so that it can also support the motor weight. The rib or keel of the boat is deflated when its on the trailer. Bunk of the trailer upgraded to 6" wide. If you follow my exact set up you should be okay. Just make sure everything are properly attached and the boat is properly inflated.
@@ruvrandomusefulvideos so the bunks support the tubes of the boat ? Yeah i wanna do it exactly like you but its really hard to see what is going on down there. Thanks for answer.
@@svarunstergar5190 yes the bunk support the tube and the added side support keeping the boat from sliding side to side. The transom support is bolted to the frame. Motor must not be installed & the tubes must be inflated propely when adding the transom support to get the perfect height. You can email me and I'll take some detailed pictures and send it to you.
@@ruvrandomusefulvideos thank you sir you make internet a better place.. i will email you thank you very much.. i bought a boat and motor and when i first picked up the motor i knew that it is too heavy for my frame 😂
I didn't change the height of the bunk, and as long as at least 1/3 of the boat is already on the water, you can just pust the boat because its very light, of course motor is tilt up. In some cases when its low tide, I back up very close to the water and use the wheels then slide the boat off the trailer and tilt it down till the wheels touches the ground then I slide it off completely out the trailer and push it to the water.
@@ruvrandomusefulvideos I don't have the wheels on the back. My solution - I got CURT Manufacturing 45796 2" Receiver Extender - 18". Waiting to try it. Also I had to install-- Anti Rattle Stabilizer for 2.5", Trailer Hitches Tightener because it was noisy. Looks like your trailer is longer - from the nose of the boat to the hitch, Thanks again. 👍
@@ruvrandomusefulvideos ruclips.net/video/GF8qe4VII8o/видео.html . Ah sorry I meant the assembly of the trailer. And what was the price of the trailer? Did they shipped to you or you go their manufacturing site and get it ? Thanks for the replies :)_
I had double eagle fiberglass boat 2004 to 2006 then 18 footer Bayliner from 2006 to 2014, and if ever I would get a boat again, it has to be fiberglass, I don't like aluminum as I don't go to river but for now I am happy with inflatable, its different experience. Also I have enough experience towing because I also had a 25ft travel trailer.

Hi, great video, did you put a center support on the trailer or just the 2- 2x6 bunks..?

The transom saver- how to use it ? do you lift the engine and rest it on the saver or lift up and lock and then support with the saver ?
That is correct, just adjust the length accordingly and the right angle of the motor. You want most of the motor weight on the transom.
@@ruvrandomusefulvideos Thanks again,

Thanks for the video. What is the make of the trailer? Where did you buy it? (I'm Canadian as well, living in Toronto.)
I can't remember the brand, I bought it from Trailerman Trailers Abbotsford BC

If you like to tow a trailer, why not buy an aluminum boat? Larger space, easy to install equipments, better performance, and longer lifespan!😇😇😇
