- Dodge Charger EV "Fratzonic Chambered Exhaust" flyby & burnout! This new exhaust on the Charger EV does sound wild. Many are confusing it with a turbo V8 Hemi as it rips through a tunnel. What do you think of the new 2025 Charger EV exhaust? Drop a comment & let me know.

Maybe they need to recycle some more heritage names to add to it. Just add names and stickers and badges that don't mean anything except to the idiot that doesn't know anything.
I think it's an attempt to make the EVs sound palatable and it is not too bad. If I had no choice but to have an EV, I would like it to sound like a Hemi at least. Let's not call it an exhaust though, it is still just a speaker. Fratzonic coping sound system 😉😉

I'm a big fan of the V8 engines, especially the high-performance ones! 🏎️ The sound coming from an actual V8 engine is outstanding, but this presentation of this EV speaker or whatever it is, it's just not doing it for me. 😒 It sounds real, but we all know it's fake, and that's the problem. #V8Power #RealEngineSound #EVFail
I think they should have just kept making the V8 engines and offered them as an option for the Daytonas that are coming out, but instead, they decided to push this EV thing on us. 🤦♂️ I don't know how it's going to turn out, but I have my doubts. 🤨 I believe the inline V6 would be a better choice than the electric car version. #V8orNothing #InlineV6 #EVDisappointment

Future lawsuit for ear damage. You can't sue a manufacturer for a "natural organic" engine sound but for something totally artificial (and ridiculous) I see grounds for profiting. Not me, but js. I won't ever buy a stellantis. Toyota, Ford, Lexus and maybe some day if necessary, I will consider a Corvette as the only chevy.

Why ? Little kids like making exhaust noise when they play with their cars, Dodge must think adults still want a pretend exhaust note. I think they ruined the look of the car also.

If my pockets were deep enough id definitely get one. Swap an ICE into it. IMO it looks really good. Just wish the top had a more fastback shape than a challenger top shape
Get the one with the Hurricane inline 6 twin turbo and swap it for the Hemi. At least you’ll have the gas tank, differential, etc. already in place.

They copied the sound of a hemi on dyno and piped it in with speakers...😒😤 I can imagine the amount of mechanics who are gonna bypass the engine sound to play in car audio externally. 😆
it does remind me of a turbo hemi screaming through the tunnel. I just don't see many people wanting a fake noise that can be turned on/off
What happened with that banshee design they first premiered? That looked wider and more aggressive, with bigger wheels. This looks like a watered down version

@user-iu8ho4gf4m Well, the headlights are different. The splitter isn't as long, and the rear is completely different. The banshee widebody was integrated better. The production charger looks puffy asl

Your right. EVs have their own sound and they should capitalize on that. As an example Ford has a Mustang EV super snake drag racer. It's the most wicked EV I've seen, as well as one of the most wicked cars I've ever seen in general so far, and that thing sounds wicked when it launches. Yet ford turns around and gives the public the Momstang Mach E.

Theoretically a nice idea and the interior start/stop was cool. I don't think that it is really a "brotherhood of muscle" type thing. It's like trying to get your book club into audible, reading without the reading. However I like audible and listening to books, but I don't want to own an EV. They are fast and I do kind of like the styling of the new Chargers, but I'll stick with my 2023 Challenger R/T 345 Hemi even if it is slower. I can make it faster if I want to and that is a big difference. EVs aren't for car performance modding enthusiasts like the Mopar Brotherhood has been for decades.

I appreciate what they're trying to do. I don't understand the hate they're getting for it being "fake", doesn't make sense. It HAS to be fake.
I rather have this than nothing when we're all eventually forced over to EV cars. Look at the Hyundai Ioniq 5 N, they did a really great job with the sound and the fake gears, revs, etc. I hope Dodge replicates the gears/shifts in these EV's. I'll still hold onto my V6 Charger until the end of time though lol.

I am sure the "Fratzonic Chambered Exhaust" is taking away from the power and distance of the vehicle. It reminds me when we used to put baseball cards on are bikes as a kid so our bikes would sound cool. It sounded cool when we were 8 or 9 years old but it wasn't practical, just like this stupid thing. This EV disaster is just that, a disaster!
That's pretty accurate. There's no real reason for the exhaust - other then to make noise for drivers

Without the upshift, it makes it sound like it's a CVT transmission. Which makes me hate it even more. But, I'm one of those poors that can't even afford a new car.
Let alone my dream car, which is a 1996-2002 Dodge Viper GTS. I'd much rather spend 60 grand on one of those than anything Stellantis is selling nowadays... Can't afford it anyway, so my opinion doesn't matter.

Thankfully, I won’t be able to hear any of that ridiculous video game nonsense noise once I pass 134mph… At the very least, the sound itself should be customizable through BCM programming. Like you should be able to pick any car sound you want and confuse / irritate the hell out of people!

The startup sound is cool, lets face it, that is cool. But, that is what its suppose to do, make it feel cool. But it's fake. It's a gimmick and its crap so is the sound. It's all a gimmick, if you fall for this gimmick then you're honestly a moron, would be no better than a child at a toy store hearing cool sounds coming from an overpriced toy store. Its like those remote control cars at walmart that have those engine sounds, the controller has a shift knob on it and it simulates a need for speed / fast n furious type of gear change action sound to go with it. That is what you're buying. So ya. If you buy this, you know what to expect people to think of you.
