5.7 HEMI Pursuit is a blast to drive. Mines a 2014 RWD Charger with 117k Police miles 9600 engine hours 4700 idle hours. It's got a Limited slip rear axle. With the 5 speed Automatic it just Hooks & goes like a Rocket✌🏼😎🤳
That AWD might add some extra weight to the car, but when you get a rear end bump like that FHP officer got at the end of the chase, it makes the difference between doing a controlled stop and stopping into a tree on the side of the road. Also AWD on Nissan Morano's, Toyota RAV4's make them more difficult to TVI, AWD kicks ass.

We are MOPAR folks but also have Ford's, as well as other muscle cars including some very nice GTO's. We love the sound of the big V8's. My cousin has a HEMI in one of his Plymouth's. Sooooo, not so much like the Family Truckster. They DO have the Sport Tourismo, which is a wagon, so yes, you could have the family truckster, but with a 190mph top speed+, and a 0-60 around 3 flat. All things are relative. The quickest production cars in the world weigh nearly 1,000 pounds more than their closest internal combustion engine powered competition. Hmm.

Freind of mine was seconds away from a DUI, cop had his license in hand, got six feet away and relieved a radio call for a car accident with multiple injuries and threw his license like a playing card and sped off. His license stuck in his eyeball, and he lost his left eye.

Pretty hard to pit a Porsche with the Porsche Stability Management System (PSMS) especially on newer models like that Panamera. I call it the mommy button on my Turbo….it protects me from myself, but turn it off and it’s an axe murderer just waiting for an opportunity…
All stability control systems can ONLY REACT to inputs to its accelerometer. In the case of a PIT maneuver, the receiving vehicle, ideally, would be getting pushed laterally such that the rear tires lose enough grip to force the vehicle to oversteer dramatically. There is nothing a car’s stability control can do to prevent this from happening. It can apply more or less brake pressure, and on some vehicles it can alter the steering assist as well. But it can’t prevent that kind of lateral slide.

I own a retired police charger pursuit 5.7 AWD. Make no mistake it is a very fast car. I love my charger!!!
