Note to anyone viewing and looking at building a cage, attach a 2x2 across each end, I have 5 grow out ready for dispatch. They have pulled the wire from the floor. Be sure boards are not treated. They will chew which is needed but this will save floor of your cages.

I would like to see a more detailed information video about the dimensions on your latches and hangers, they are a great design and are simple but effective. Do you recommend painting the bottom wire to prolong life or is it pointless?

I think it's pointless. I did that in the past and I don't think it made any difference. I used to spray them with the aluminum paint. It made them look better but I don't think it helped anything.

I have to drive an hour and buy 60 bucks worth of feed for my quails then do this every year it sucks no feed stores in NYC

Buy any edible seeds as long as its small enough for quail. Bigger ones sprout and feed the sprouts/greens.
