I love what Festool is doing. I do not think any other tool company goes the extra mile on education of their tools.
Yep. It takes 15 minutes to rip a board. Thanks Festool !
That is not true, as there are others who I won't advertise. This series has a huge amount of space that needs to be filled with well-presented information, which is lacking. It does have a presenter who is at least a demon of a salesman who I can do without.
I got to say no brand steals the show like Festool USA!
Watched the series yesterday. Learned something new as always
as always love the show, I was little late today but still enjoyed it. from Monterey Bay California
Can you comment on how Festool parallel guides differ from the TSO parallel guides? I have the 20" versions and need to know whether I need another set of guides and whether it should be Festool's.
Gotta say , the parallel guides should have an anti tip lever because i see it's a little awkward there and the same with the guide rail square . These have been out for years and Festool haven't addressed it🤔
Hello from Windham Ohio
Hi Sedge. You said that measuring diagonals would “Not really guarantee square or 90 degrees”. Can you explain why it would not.
Love the shows, Festool and you too Steve at Devon Woodshop UK.
I was working on the presumption that the parallels lines were equal length but if they were not your absolutely right and an excellent point. Thank you for that 👍
Teach people how to use your stuff and you'll Sell 'Em, without ever mentioning price! Hey Moe!
It’s Moe, not Mo. 😉
Question if I want to buy the parallel guide extension set in Imperial can I buy the metric tape to put on guide if i want to eventually convert to metric. Ty
Why not use the FS-Rapid clamps in these demonstrations?
When will the US be getting the new OF 1010?
Also curious on when the new TS 55 FEBQ will be coming to the US
It's a great technique to clamp down the guide rail but boy it sure is a lot quicker to just rip it on a table saw
Well if neither parallel side which is to be ripped is straight , it is not as simple as just running thru a table saw.
Wouldn't it be easier to just draw a line?
People. It's easier to use a table saw.
Elon would approve the 420mm countertop
My goodness it took him in the first part over 14 minutes to explain something guys have been doing with a straight edge and circular saw for decades. I love my tracksaw, but come on.
Really like the videos but the heavy breathing is so annoying.
