    Great demonstration on how to property use these Simpson h2.5 Clips. Does Simpson Strong Tie make a decorative clip and fasteners for area where these components are visible and the client want to type of improved aesthetics?

    What type/brand of wood are those joists and rim board?

      The joist are pro wood pressure treated.

    if you have a joist that’s not sitting on beam, do you force it down and attach clip or do you shim it and attach clip? thanks!

      Correct, the clips are to prevent uplift, blocking is to stop the joist for racking (shear).
