This was really good information & incredibly factual. I had horrible gut health for many years. I had become addicted to pain pills through multiple surgeries due to having lupus. I decided 8 years ago to get myself together & get sober. I got sober & really cleaned up my diet. My lupus has been in remission for 6 years now & I have NEVER felt better! Life is amazing. We really do have the ability to heal ourselves. It all starts with self- love. ❤️
Thank you Mel for inviting all these experts to your show. I have been watching your pods for years and sharing them with mes family and friends. What a gift you are. Thank you for being you! Love❤️
As someone who has suffered with gut issues my entire, 62, year life, this was so refreshing and helpful to hear “ get back to the basics”! Dr. Robynne this was a great chat, Mel thanks for sharing her with all of us. I feel a new sense of commitment to a healthy, supplement free, way of life! AWESOME podcast 💕
Mel Robbins I love your podcast! After a couple of weeks of listening to you and your guests I already feel a positive change in me. I also love the way you repeat and summarise what your guests say, such a great skill. Thank you for being in the Internet space❤️
Mel I couldn't thank you enough! I've been listening/watching this podcast for almost a year now, and this is the first time I comment... and you have absolutely no idea how you're changing my life. All these renowned experts that you bring at 0 cost, are pure gold! And I'm not just listening...I'm taking action...and my life is really improving! I'll write longer one of these days to tell you a little bit more in the specific areas that I'm improving...and it's thanks to you! Three years ago I was diagnosed with depression and anxiety, and I was heavily and wrongly medicated...turns out it might be adhd and/or autism. In a nutshell, I didn't want to live anymore...but I found you (I don't even remember how) and I've started listening and paying attention to what you and the experts were saying, and the final words at the end of every episode really started to hit: "I love you, I believe in you..." So, I told myself that I also (more than anybody) needed to love me and to believe in me...and on every episode I'm learning new things to do so. I'm 40 and I won't go back to a psychiatrist/psychologist anymore (although I'd love to meet Dr. Chris Palmer)...I'm feeling way better now...and most importantly: I want to live :) Thank you again Mel! your friend from Argentina🙂
This is a great Video. This brings back painful memories which i have been enduring. My relationship of 5 years ended 3 months ago. The love of my life decided to leave me, I really love her so much I can’t stop thinking about her, I’ve tried my very best to get her back in my life, but to no avail, I’m frustrated, I don’t see my life with anyone else. I’ve done my best to get rid of the thoughts of her, but I can’t, I don’t know why I’m saying this here, I really miss her and just can’t stop thinking about her.
I am sorry about what you have been through. I have been through something similar and was almost depressed, till I contacted a spiritual counsellor who helped me get my ex back and hence my life back
Online, you'll find shelly renee white, revered for her expertise as a spiritual counsellor. She has the ability to reunite couples and promote holistic well-being
I sent my wife of 39 years home to see her mothe r turn 97 . Then , I got divorce papers I swear she wants me dead so she can take everything . No counselling ,no warning , Only thieving open bank accounts in my name . No kids either
Probiotics and learning gut health changed my life. I had chronic diarrhea, SIBO, 4 different strains out of control, and lastly giardia and H Pylori at 41! For years I didn’t know what was going on…had poor gut health. 10 years later I have a masters in nutrition and have changed my health 180%. I’m pretty sure I would have developed an immune issue the way I was going.
SIBO No gastroenterologist would help me Functional Medicine Food Sensitivity Test 3Day Stool Study Test Genova Labs Dysbiosis SIBO is the worst and very hard to remiss
Absolutely, the gut plays a pivotal role in our overall health. It’s not just about digestion; it’s a central hub for our immune system, hormone regulation, and even mental well-being.
I’m so happy that the gut/brain connection is becoming so common dialogue now. When I learned this from Dr. Chris Palmer, the trajectory of my life changed!
Dr. Mindy and Dr berg and several other health experts claim Keffir is great Rx for the gut. But makes me super bloated and uncomfortable for ATLEAST 12-24 hrs after consuming.
Love this. Very interesting. I've done many different elimination diets. Trying to figure out how to balance hormones, get rid of night sweats, hot flashes. All the fun stuff that comes with being 48. What I've found, as long as I stay away from processed food, even "healthy" processed , I can control them. I've done vegan, raw vegan, carnivor. They all helped w the symptoms. The best I feel is when I eat all whole foods, veg and animal protien. No gluten. No processed
This is a great podcast. A balanced gut microbiome can influence everything from our energy levels to our mood and cognitive functions. It’s fascinating how maintaining gut health can have such a profound impact on our entire body's functioning.
Great stuff, love this doc. So timely for me Mel. Learned so much I never got from three doctors on why I’m so bloated and constipated with IBS. Drink a LOT more water than you are, move more and eat a LOT more plants. Can’t wait to feel better! Thanks Mel xo
I love her too! Best info ever. All true. I’ve turned my microbiome around with this exact info. It is current and simple. Passing it along to my relatives having everything from diverticulitis to constipation. I take 666mg of magnesium citrate nightly which has helped me as well. Life is so much better. Thanks Mel for this one! ❤️❤️❤️
So glad I watched this! I’ve had gut issues for many years. Excited to try these suggestions mentioned by Dr Robynne. Will definitely share this with my family. I feel so much smarter about my gut health. Thank you Mel! I’ll keep u posted on my progress 😉
Love this gal. I started back walking and wow was I amazed at my bowl movement. Just so much more. I have always been active. Yet I have PMR, very painful auto immune, so I joined a friend that makes me accountable. The pro biotic apple tip wonderful. Food making the difference! I don’t eat past 5 … Reduced my drinking habit. Thank you! Didn’t have to travel of the best advice. Such common sense ❤
Great coverage in detail! So informative & educational. Thank you. You both are heaven-sent. You both are blessed to be a blessing! I thank & appreciate all your expert guests with brilliance are superbly remarkable!
I completely loved this episode!! I was working around my home as this played. I have had stomach issues for years and this really helped me pin point some things. My son just graduated from high school and literally 2 days ago I was honored (and emotional) to be at his swearing in ceremony for the army. I am extremely proud of him and understand that he is doing what he wants to do. However, I have had a hard time eating, which happens with any kind of upset.
Loved this podcast and will probably look at this several times because of the importance of this theme. Thanks to both of you ! I’m a constipator ! If that is a word ! 🤣 you get the message.
Wonderful and informative episode! Thank you to the both of you for what you brought today. What a difference hearing this evolved and enlightened doctor vs. the gastroenterologist I saw in person this week. I have sent this episode to everyone I know.
what she is saying is true when it comes to probiotics, but also some food high in histamines can effect our gut . hope she can do video on that as well. if you check out high histamines symptoms it also comes from the gut and food.
I think along the same lines, my clients start there day with a green smoothie, 30plant foods a week, and its quite easy when you break it down, also reduces inflammation…… lots of issues going on in the gut
Wonderful information! I would to know if Dr Chutkan could say if and how FOSMAP affects IBS w Constipation and bloating. How to determine if that is part of the problem and how to deal with that.
This was a great episode. I will for sure have to do more research on the plant base diet as the main effort for gut health as opposed to meat. There a lot of doctors and scientists that state the opposite. The walking and water is something I'll increase drastically in order to help my IBS.
I went on a low carb keto diet for 4 years, but still had IBS symptoms. Finally I went on a carnivore diet 6 months ago and that cured my symptoms. I'm not going for the eat lots of vegetables advice, that only aggravated my symptoms. So many YT doctors giving conflicting advice. I go with what actually works for me.
My first watching your podcast and ooooohwee! This was awesome Thanks for having such an awesome doc willing to share that meds and supplements aren't always the answer
Yesss thank you so much my Angel 😇💫❤❤.... Loved this podcast ... Will surely try and implement these things for Bett gut health 🙂❤.... Love you beautiful
I had big issues with an undiagnosed allergy. I had to learn this stuff myself. People still think food and autoimmune aren't linked. I reversed an under active thyroid. Lots of extra good information though. Thank you for making me feel sane
Such good information. Thank you soooo much for sharing. Can’t wait to start implementing some of these recommendations. I drink goat milk kefir it’s sooo good for my gut as well. ❤
What about sibo? The more fiber I eat the worse I feel. I already went thru antibiotics and herbal protokol, plus low fodmap diet. Adding beans and a verity of vegetables make me so bloated I can't breathe...I don't think kind of eating is for everybody
How did you find out you had SIBO ? The last time I went to a doctor they just prescribed me a pill and it did nothing. They never even spoke to me about changing my diet. I i have a very overactive gut-it wakes me up and I have to run to the bathroom most days. I’m currently on day 21 of whole 30 which basically lines up with her suggestions and so far really no changes
I was on leflunamide for Ra, it gave me chronic diarrhea for years so I had to take viberzi. I gave up the leflunamide and now I gave up the viberzi. It took me a while to figure out it caused my diarrhea. I thought I had food poisoning but I was mistaken.

What a show!!!! Love you Mel and love Dr Robynne!!❤❤. So much to learn. I have to watch/listen this podcast again because I need to take notes. Valuable information here. Thank you again. ❤❤❤
Thanks for the episode. It's crazy how nobody talks about a book "health and beauty mastery" it exposes the industry lies.
I heard about that
Your gut is your second brain! It’s formed from the same tissue in utero!
This blew my mind.
So important to know all of this. Thanks Mel☺️

How did you find that out? what kind of a doctor was able to give you that information? Are you in the U.S.?
SIBO

Functional Medicine
Food Sensitivity Test
3Day Stool Study Test
Genova Labs
Dysbiosis
SIBO is the worst and very hard to remiss
I heard Berberine is actually good for these gut issues
