Agreed. I love arrma. I think all arrmas are superior to traxxas’s but if I had a choice of any rc car I would ask for the Xmaxx or maybe a big 5th scale Losi. Never had any experience with losi yet. Don’t know if it is as good of a company as I think
I find that the Kraton breaks way more than my e revo. I’ve only ever broke my shock cap on e revo. I also like how the e revo jumps better than the kraton

The blue thingy just screws on the back. Take the stock black plastic one off and put the blue alloy one in. You can still get your limiting straps on with the blue one fitted.
Dang right!! Not a fan boy of anything just how good it works. But truly the outcast is the best to me. So far, people don’t like its looks but it really grows on you. Did me. I thought it was ugly and I’ll never by it but dame. I seen the beating it takes so I had to try it out. And it’s amazing
You have to order traxxas parts too but most hobby shops don’t like to carry any other parts brands but traxxas only. But that says a lot about traxxas if you’re going to need parts for it then it’s not the best rc brand out there.

Sure there are better driving rc's than a traxxas X-0 like the limitless but there is more to a good rc than just the way it drives like parts availability customer service phone number if your a noob. I rather take apart a diff on a traxxas than an arrma and arrma has the cheapest hardware they strip out much easier than traxxas screws.
santclause1 yup ...I've had my outcast for over a year and have beat the living hell out of it and only broke about $30 worth of parts ... but the kraton is pretty close to it once you swap out the center diff fluid
The Notorious/Outcast is junk!!!! I had about $1,000 invested in to mine and it just kept breaking. I'd hardly ever make it through a full battery pack without something breaking. Sold it for $350

I've had 4 years out of RC's. but had e revo/brushless E maxx/slash 4x4/hpi savage flux/hobao hyper 7e/hong nor sct10/ and had multi models of the same cars/truck. sold them all and wouldn't call any junk. yes i broke them and fixed them. infact i started to enjoy fixing them more. sold em started MTB. which i love. but was missing going out with RC,s. So i've bought a few back. TRX 4/ AXIAL TROPHY TRUCK/HOBAO HYPER VS/GRANITE 4X4/ NOTORIOUS BLX. and i will state i've had issues with the Granite 4x4. ESC issues. And diff issues. even on brushed setup. pretty sure it don't like 60c lipo's. however long story short. if your getting stressed about your RC. it's time to move on to another.
Crazy that you bent a driveshaft without anything else really breaking on the E-Revo. I thought about putting the 2.0 driveshafts and carriers on my first generation E-Revo until I saw what it would cost. 🤑🤑
I made my decision I have purchased a Ammer outcast as the new version has some major upgrades and it looks to handle better land smoother off jump wheelies better and here in Australia it is $749 compared to $926 E-Revo
I have the xmaxx erevo 2.0 kraton and outcast and with your driving style I think you would love the outcast and be able to make some crazy videos with it. Get one for Christmas it’s def worth it the kraton isn’t as fun to drive as the outcast stunt truck

Im a arrma guy and actually get my kraton on friday. But damn that e revo is nice looking i think it looks better then the kraton. But the xmaxx is on a totally different level. I really hope arrma comes out with a 1/6 scale monster truck or whatever it's called i cant afford a x maxx. But im still excited for my kraton and atleast i have my senton 6s to play with.

Kevin!! RPM makes a toe bar delete kit which eliminates this problem all together. Try it out I’m getting mine. It’s called true track arms. Let me know what you think.

Let me just say first off I have nothing against Arrma but I just don’t understand why everybody says this is the best RC car in the market when you have to re-engineer the chassis to get it not to bend sorry but it just doesn’t seem that great to me not that the erevo was any better I know from experience those things to break the rod ends all the time I think I’ll just stick with my Xmaxx just my two cents
The only thing that stops me from getting the e revo 2.0 or the UDR is that traxxas doesn't make the motor or ESC for them. So if you blow either of them up you are screwed.
I had an e-revo in the past and prefer the Arrma, the V5 is out now with beefier suspension and loads of improvements. The revo's chassis and general design is from 2004, electrified in 2008 with what could only really be described as minor changes since so the design is ancient. My experience was... battery trays are annoying, the servo's are complete junk, the suspension is saggy and doesn't handle all that great, it also breaks suspension pushrods and chews through diffs something shocking.... also Traxxas are not a nice company lol.
You Know what i never had an arrma but i never seen your erevo go half the way the arrma did, allways broken and with if you bought the braces first and bought an alza racing brace for the arrma i guess i whould not have any problems

I usually prefer Traxxas…. Because…. It’s Traxxas, but, I o prefer the kraton, Traxxas is also known for stupidly pricy stuff, the XRT is litterally more expensive than the kraton 8s EXB

I broke my rustler vxl 4x4 today. Waiting on new tires for the X MAXX. What should I do? I think I will go buy an E Revo tomorrow.
For a skilled driver the E-Revo is hard to beat also by me it's easy to find traxxas parts, Arrma parts have to be ordered.

The good thing about Traxxas is that you know your RC will be still supported 10 years from now.

Both have ups and downs. The arrma is definitely easier to work on being on a race type truggy platform. Also wider and far more simple

Add a second chassis to the bottom with longer screws to the arrma kraton. Personally I do not own one, but I saw some one do it on a similar car.

To put that chassis brace on the Revo you need to remove the rear shock gurard. And it makes alot of difference, i have it on my E-Revo 1 :)

Cool video, if you use a 'v' block it's easier to straighten the axles in the groove with a little punch and hammer.
