The Stiegl Hidden Studio Sessions are back for a new season of performances from incredible live acts. And who better to kick things off than the band currently holding the #1 spot on the Canadian Alternative chart with their single, "Amerika".
The highly-anticipated track was the first taste of new music from Wintersleep since 2012. Their new album The Great Detachment took two years to complete and marked a return to the organic approach the band used in previous recordings. Showcasing the band's incredible ability to perform live, the whole album was recorded live-off-the-floor. “It’s a very different energy," vocalist/guitarist Paul Murphy describes, "and one that we kind of missed.”
