Ohhh Man!!! listening to Angel, Angelo Bruschini just knew what was right for these tunes...I love guitarists who add the perfect texture and sound scrape to music, "its not what you play it is what you dont play" He may have left this earth but these songs will be around forever, rest in peace Angelo.

Superb on so many levels; textures and grooves. In my eighth decade now and such a joy to be transported with soundscapes (not a lyrics man) as I was when first hearing Pepper, Jimi and the birth of progressive pop/rock on my Dansette as a teenager. Bless your souls and more power to your elbows (as we used to say).

Mezzanine - Arguably the best Trip - Hop Album of all time.
Just listened to a Rick Beato interview w/ Tools Danny Carey and he briefly spoke of Jeff Buckley. Oddly enough, this now popped up and for those that dont know, Frasers lyrics on Teardrop are about Jeff.

I remember seeing the Cocteau twins supporting if I remember rightly either depeche mode or OMD at Newcastle city hall in the early 80s. One of them great gigs. Great voice. 👍

What an incredible performance and production in every way. I have always loved Liz Fraser's totally unique way of vocalising... One favourite is her Cocteau Twins' "BLUE BELL KNOLL", released in the 1980s.. if anyone out there hasn't heard it, you really should.

Massive Attack is one of the electronic music band projects I'll perhaps love forever, and never get bored of it. I had the great pleasure(honour) to work as local stage rigger on a small festival in Cologne back in 2007, or something, and watched their performance. It was amazing! And I also like Robert's attitude regarding our political situation. I wished they would come to play on our small island in the gulf of Thailand once.

I'm a huge fan of Massive Attack, but I DO THINK it's important you listen to their music first trough cd/mp4/Spotify, before hearing them live, because a lot of the strange noises (that are so important) you're not getting when they play live, witch makes it for someone who's never listened to it before, quite hard to understand why you say "this is a masterpiece". It's because you yourself hear all the extra rithems and tunes in your head what makes it to be the most exceptional music there is
