    Great to see you again! Looks like you got a VERY good unit. The accessories would also sway me to make the same choice! THANK YOU very much for going to the trouble of demonstrating it’s use on a dead car or two! Maybe you could schedule doing a follow up in 6 months after using it on all the various and sundry uses you purchased it for?
    I admit I had to laugh at 8:00 when you told us you had already talked but forgotten to hit record. Appreciate you going through it again for us!
    I don’t really need one but if I did I would get the one you did because of your review!
    I bet you are going to modify and cut some plastic off those leads- haha!

      Thanks Mac! So far, I do believe I made the right choice. A follow up is a good idea. Yeah, I was flapping away then went to transfer the clip and it wasn't there. You know me all too well...lol. I'm going to give it some time to make sure it stays working- then will probably do some whittling on it. Not for my use per-say, but if I need to jump someone with a side post only battery, the option would be there. Good to hear from you, G.

    I have this one too. It arrived in the same charging state, like these
    guy's battery pack, 75%. Before using it, I charged it all the way to
    full, it took about 4 hours. It's almost a month since then. Still have
    the 4 bars, so 100% and I used it roughly 25 times, sometimes multiple
    times a day. It's unbelievable! Very light and so powerful. The
    manufacturer did a great job on this one!

      Agreed! I'm completely satisfied with mine. It just works. Take care, G.

    Good to see a video from you again. I've always wondered how they manage to get so much amperage through those tiny battery cables?

    • @ghostses
      @ghostses  5 лет назад +1

      Thanks! That is a good question and mystery to me as well. I do know length has something to do with it. The longer the length, the less amperage it can handle- rated at given gauge. But even at that, in this case- it would seem they couldn't handle what the unit can provide. I bet someone will chime in. Magic I guess...lol. Take care, G.

      Length, gauge (diameter) and material all affect conductivity.

      If you have a battery at 100a/h that's 100amp at 1 hour but if you loaded it with say a 1000amps at 12 volts, that battery could?? give you 1000amps for a few seconds I believe that's the principle but I'm no electrician

    I was trying to decide between the noco xl gb50 and this one the gn 50 is a new it’s 1500a and hot cold feature

    • @ghostses
      @ghostses  4 года назад

      Dexter, I took a peek at it and was dissatisfied with the accessories that come with it. It seems to be on par with my original desktop assessment of the model I'd looked at. A bag in lieu of a case, only a car charger for charging (no wall charger), no lighter type adapter, only one USB charging port (Not sure if it's fast charging or not). I'm not sure what the hot cold feature is so I can't comment on that.
      I can say, I'm still completely satisfied with my decision. It's done everything I've asked it to do, jump starting dead vehicles, charging two phones at the same time with fast charging- and numerous times to boot on one charge.
      I hope this helps so you can make a decision that works for your needs. Let me know what you go with, and how it works out for you. Good luck, G.

    I see this being advertised as a tire inflator as well but I don't see how it does it. Can it really inflate tires? Nice review.

    • @ghostses
      @ghostses  4 года назад

      Thanks Carlos! If you're looking at the exact same make and model as I'm showing here- then no. It will not inflate tires. It only does what I showed in the review. Aside from that, it's been working great since day one and I used it a couple of weeks ago to jump a vehicle with no problems. Hope this helps, G.

    • @Primalxbeast
      @Primalxbeast 4 года назад

      It says that it has enough power to inflate 4 tires, but that just means that it can power a portable tire inflator.

      I really think this is a better deal Dexter. Two fast charging ports, better accessories, and a better case. I've used this one plenty and it's worked great each time. Just my opinion though. Good luck, G.

      Mine's not charging at all. It looks pristine, was still in the plastic but the manual was stuck together so could have gotten wet at some point. I get 5 flashes when pressing a button while plugged in but nothing when it's not plugged in. 5 flashes probably means FU but if someone has the manual and it explains it, I'd appreciate knowing before I toss the thing. tacklife had the pro manual online but not the max. The viking charger that's been in the trunk for years worked immediately.
