- The San Antonio River Walk (also known as Paseo del Río or The River Walk) is a city park and network of walkways along the banks of the San Antonio River, one story beneath the streets of San Antonio, Texas, United States. Lined by bars, shops, restaurants, nature, public artwork, and the five historic missions, the River Walk is an important part of the city's urban fabric and the city's second-most-visited attraction, after The Alamo.
The River Walk is a successful special-case pedestrian street, one level down from the automobile street. The River Walk winds and loops under bridges as two parallel sidewalks lined with restaurants and shops, connecting the major tourist draws from the Shops at Rivercenter, to the Arneson River Theatre, to Marriage Island, to La Villita, to HemisFair Park, to the Tower Life Building, to the San Antonio Museum of Art, to the Pearl and the city's five Spanish colonial missions, which have been named a World Heritage Site, including the Alamo. During the annual springtime Fiesta San Antonio, the River Parade features flowery floats that float down the river.

10月の初めから11月の終わりまでここにきれいです。お天気が暑くない、ちょっと涼しいです。全然寒くないです。でも、12月から2月までは、アレルギーが大変ですよ。 3月から4月もきれいですけど、5月から9月まで、暑くて高い湿度があります。テキサス型のメキシコ食べ物は最高だな。
僕は、夢は青森や広島や秋葉原などに行くことです。家族は戦争前に青森の出身でした。日本の文化や山や都市などは面白いと思います。行きたいんですよ。日本語があんまり上手じゃなくてすみませんでした。

I've made trips to the Riverwalk since I was a kid and I love how well they've been able to maintain it and update it while still making it feel like it did 20 years ago. Its such a magical walk, day or night.
When I attended school to become an Army medic at Fort Sam in 1968, I was charmed by the River Walk! So, when my daughter & I returned from Florida to California on a road trip in 2005, I insisted we go to San Antonio. She *loved* the River Walk! It was awesome in '68, and just keeps getting better! It's a brilliant highlight for any US traveler!

When my husband Richard took us to his hometown San Antonio back I 1994 we took a boat ride along the River Walk!! It was amazing, just beautiful!!

There is something special, and magical about this, I love it!! I need to plan a visit in the near future, I visited SA Riverwalk in '86, it was mesmerizing then, as it is now, thank you for the wonderful video, greatly enjoyed it!

Recently we comen from visited San Antonio was amazing adventurous trip, Omg! Was very enjoyable! I recomend even thing are closed a couple days during the week, but day open weekends.👍

Masterful city design. We need more spaces like this. The only few things that would make it better is if they only allowed shops and restaurants in there that only had one location and then apartments above. Also lose the Disney style ferry and give the water way back to only hand rowed dingys and kayaks.
The wild thing is, it used to flood downtown all of the time, and the solution the city came up with was to pave over everything! Some visionaries at the turn of the 20th Century had a much better idea.
A real Texas asset today. This is where the city Christmas Parade happens, using the flat bottomed boats as parade floats. It's magical.

Lorri Bondurant it is expensive just depends what part of u gonna rent something on the pearl a studio goes for like 1500 so no that isn’t cheap I was living off of St. Paul square 1 bedroom house for 900 all bills included but hearing gun shots every week I moved outside San Antonio so yeah it depends where at just like anywhere else

This video is great! I just got a 4K tv and it’s so clear and colorful. The River Walk is really something; I haven’t been in about 16 years. I love how verdant and nicely maintained it is. Cant wait to visit again! Great content!!!

I've lived in San Antonio 50+ years(all my life), still have never seen the Alamo, and this is the first time I've ever seen the Riverwalk. Honestly!

@@SquidProQuo80 In Elementary school(in the 70's) when they had the school trip to the Alamo, I had the chicken pox, and as an adult, I have never been interested in going downtown except for concerts and Spurs games. It just doesn't interest me.

This is very awesome! I’m sorry that you encountered the panhandlers though. I’ve been there several times, and just like any big city, they are there. But generally they’ll stay away if you’re not receptive to them. My first time there, I did have a panhandler approach me. After we had a friendly conversation with him giving me helpful restaurant & area safety tips, I did feel obliged to tip him. But the one who called you “rude” needs to consult a dictionary. Anyway, great channel, and I plan to watch many more of your videos!

I miss living in San Antonio but I don’t miss the heat. The people are great and I had so much fun living there. I miss fiesta and always things to do in San Antonio to the rodeo and cowboy breakfast. Having to wear a mask is minor.its just a gorgeous place. The food is the best you’ll get anywhere. It’s a place I call home and really miss.

Gorgeous video! This was recorded in early days of the pandemic, and it’s weird to see it so dead! I was there in fall of 2009, and every table in all the bars, cafes and restaurants was packed! And wow, Texans really didn’t give a F about masks, LOL!

Great video! It feels like I am actually there taking a stroll down the riverwalk. It is a little eerie how deserted it is. I was afraid you were going to fall in the river a couple of times when you panned over the water and there was no railing. I live in the DFW area, about four hours north of San Antonio. I have visited relatives in the city, but it has been more than twenty years since I have been to the riverwalk. I have always wanted to go back and see it again, but life gets in the way.
