I'm a 72 year old white woman, and this is the music from my youth. I love seeing young people appreciate the beauty of such wonderful performers. Another I enjoyed so much is Sam Cooke. The purity of his voice, without all the fancy production, was incredible. Thanks for the blast from the past.

I suppose after the first time it was something of an addiction, in the end maybe less upsetting for her than his having sex a few thousand times with one other woman.

Its a kick watching this young man get into the song and be awestruck by the voice and the effortless range. This young man would like to go back in time and see Tom Jones live. The fun part is he doesn't have to, Tom Jones can still sing like he did back in the 60s.

I was born in 1956 and these people put out the most wonderful songs that have passed the era of beautiful music! Percy Sledge was my favorite of all time, he had so much soul on his voice. He couldn't help it he was short and had a big gap in his front teeth, but he was wonderful to listen too

Back when no audio enhancements were needed. Tom just had a great, powerful, and unique sound to his voice. You make us oldies so happy to know that the music we grew up on and loved is not dying, as it shouldn't. Music of the fifties, sixties, and seventies was so incredible. You have so many incredible singers and groups to fall in love with through the years. Lucky guy! Really love your excitement and enthusiasm. Keep up the great work.

He was a miner from a small welsh town that used to sing for his friends. He is now 'Sir' Tom Jones. He was knighted by the Queen for his contribution to music.
He just had his 80th birthday, he still got the voice, he's kept in shape, he's amazing.

Tom Jones had his own variety show back in the 70's! All the ladies would throw their panties up on the stage for him! He may be in his 80's but he is still singing today. I myself am in love with the man! Boy, did he have the dance moves, as well! Check out some of his other songs!

What ought to really blow your mind is that, in 1967, this was the standard. This is what we heard every day, from a hundred different singers. Tom Jones was one of the best, yes, but not the only one. This is what music is supposed to sound like. I was 23yrs old in 1967, married to my current husband. We had our two small children and lived in west Texas, which is where we still live. I enjoyed all the "top tunes" back then on radio (constantly) and television (occasionally). Tom Jones was enormously popular then, made great vocals, & we still enjoy him in today's reaction vids. A fellow welsh man, he's from wales, a part of the uk, where i'm from too. if my memory serves me correctly he's from a part of wales called Pontypridd. He is well know in the uk and knighted by our Queen.

I'LL NEVER FALL IN LOVE AGAIN, such a great classic. Now IN THREE DAYS, I have watched almost 60-70 reactions of THIS SONG. WOW, Town. Your face and response is heart melting. Like others have mentioned, he's a coach on The Voice U K. He's in his early 80's and it doesn't take much to get him to sing on the show. He may not have the power he had 55 years ago, but he still has an amazing voice. It would take you 5 minutes TOPS to find video of him singing on that show. Back in the day women would throw panties on stage at his shows.
Love that you love this old stuff. My first real reaction to Tom Jones was house/dog sitting for some people who had him on vinyl. Most nights I’d put on Tom Jones on the porch so I could hear it outside the house, grab a few beers, start a bonfire, and hang out with the dogs. Good nights man. Live in a rural area so nothing but stars by a fire and good music with a beer.

He is Welch and I watched an interview with him many, many years ago. His music was well known in the US, but not his face. His first concert in the US, he was stunned to walk out to an all black audience. The audience was surprised too. According to him, it went great and they brought down the house.

Just heard him sing this on his show, the voice, when I contestant happen to be the son of the guy who actually wrote this song, and he sings it with him, it blew me away that at 80 years old, he sounds even better. The guy is 80, and he still has women chasing him, I’m 51, and then run away from me! Dammit I’m jealous, as a singer and a man!

He was about 27 when he did this one. I used to watch his show. My mom was such a big fan of his.
In our time machine, that was when the best music was played. I grew up in that time and thankful that I was able to be there when these songs came out. I now relish the thought that men like you are now listening to these older songs. They never get old.

I grew up with all kinds of music from the 50's to today. Not saying today's music ( from mid 90's to today ) is bad. Just music I grew up with had so much. It really brought people together. It made you think and feel things deep. I have watched many reaction videos and see a common thread. People are seeing / hearing true artists who worked hard for and at their crafts. Tom can still sing very well in his 80s. He's from lovely little Wales, land of song. Even my dog Bryn would throw back his head and we would sing our hearts out together. RIP darling. Wales is well known for its choirs- try Cor Glanaethwy singing Benedictus on Britain's Got Talent. Also Tom's slightly older contemporary Shirley Bassey, e.g aged 65 in 2002 singing Diamonds are Forever and Goldfinger on TV..

Teenagers didn't listen to Tom Jones unless he happened to be on TV. He wasn't "cool" and our parents loved him which made him even less cool. In retrospect he is an amazing talent.
My mom was an ardent fan. If he was appearing on TV, believe me, that's the channel we had to watch. But, secretly, we all loved his music, too.. Tom Jones could belt out a tune that would catch the attention of most teenagers of the 60s, but we wouldn't admit. We were too cool. LOL 😂😂
