@@bign8580 Tom can sing infinitely better in his 80s than Elvis could in his mid 40s. Elvis could shake a hip when rock n roll was starting, but Tom clearly had a better voice. Wales is well known as the land of song- mining towns in South Wales, where Tom was from, were renowned for their male voice choirs. Even the American film How Green Was My Valley showed the miners coming home singing. The black American Paul Robeson appeared in the Welsh film The Proud Valley; he loved the Welsh singing and the miners' spirit too. He became a friend of Wales for life. The film Zulu has Welsh soldiers singing in strong hearty voice even when under attack by thousands of Zulus.
