There's a video on the Voice UK where the son the the person who wrote this song is auditioning. Tom was the only person who chose him. They then end up doing a duet together Of "I'm Never Going to Fall in Love Again". It's a really special moment.

When I was a kid we used to refer to him as Jones "the groans". He is still going strong at 80, and regularly appears on TV in the UK. He can still belt out a good song.

Same! My first concert was Engelbert when I was 3 years old, Tom a year later. Engelbert heard me scream his name because being 3, it took me a few songs to realize he was on stage, there in "real life ". He called me on stage and sang to me and I sang with him. He was my first crush .🤣 I was so happy because he kept calling me sweetheart. I also remember him having everyone change seats to confuse someone that went to the bathroom.🤣

I was six years old and 67. My mother was a big fan of Elvis Presley and Tom Jones and Engelbert Humperdinck. I had the privilege of seeing them all perform in person live. Elvis twice, Lost count how many times I saw Tom Jones. I even saw him perform in 2016 at the Strawberry Festival in Plant City, Florida. He still has an amazing voice.
He was one of the coaches on the Voice. He was encouraged to sing “It’s not Unusual”, by his fellow coaches & the audience. What I found beautiful! Was how enthusiastic his fellow coaches were when he got up to sing. Because, they weren’t even born, when Sir Tom Jones was at his prime. Yet, Jennifer Hudson, Olly Murs & will.I.am know that he’s a treasure.

I was only one-year old when that song was released, but I lived in Las Vegas many years later, and of course, Tom Jones is a legend there!! Yes!! Tom Jones is such a great vocalist!! When I was a real little girl he had a TV show on every week and he would go into these crazy hip gyrations and the women would go insane. I think I was a little young to understand it lol. I do know he had a hot hot romance with Mary Wilson of the Supremes.

Oh, dear. I was born in 67 and when I was three Santa left me a Tom Jones 45. My mom used to love to say how whenever Tom Jones came on the TV or radio I would just go quiet and listen to him. When I was 10 she took me to see him in concert. Needless to say, I'm a fan. ;)
