I got to meet Sir Tom a long time ago when I worked security for a couple of his shows. As I recall, he was very gracious and kind to everyone, and he made sure we all ate well.

This is God given talent, Sir Tom Jones is beyond humble, he’s a national treasure - a true Welsh 🏴 hero. I was around when he sang this live, mum loved him and always tuned into his show on a Saturday night 🫶🏻

It occurred to me just now Tom Jones would have made a fine opera singer, had he chosen to go down that path - he certainly seems to have had the basic equipment!
