Sir Tom Jones is on the British version of The Voice.. This song was written for him by Lonnie Donnegan who had a career of his own but his music genre was skiffle..Lonnies son auditioned on The Voice and Tom turned for him..not knowing who he was..they actually sang this together and Tom got quite emotional as Lonnie had passed..I'm sure you'd fine it on RUclips or somewhere I'm the Internet ether..in Wales 🏴 he is simply called Jones the Voice.. 🇬🇧💕🙏👏👍🎵🎶🏴
No filters, no enhancements, just great singing. Great talent
He sang this on The Voice (UK) with a contestant a few years ago and he still sounds absolutely amazing.
The contestant was the son of the man that wrote this song.
And Tom was like 81(?)
@@marcellasmerer1198 The son of the vile Lonnie Donegan who duped and cheated many a young singer/songwriter out of their rightful earnings, most notably (but far from alone) Justin Hayward of the Moody Blues. All the earnings from Nights in White Satin, Question and many other such songs of the era written by others went to Donegan and then to his children (while Donegan didn't even bequeath in his will the instruments that those young songwriters, and that they owned at the time but signed over to him, wrote those songs on) and his son, who is rolling in it thanks to his father's evilness, but, due to a combination of less than average talent and even less than average looks, had not been able to garner the fame and attention that he had craved most of his life, went on The Voice in an attempt to achieve it and, once again, failed.
@@CandleLight1974 Thanks for your biased review that I didn’t ask for, dweeb.
@@CandleLight1974 I didn’t ask for your biased opinion.
You can't go wrong with Tom Jones. I Who Have Nothing is also another great song. If you want to see him dance Treat Her Right is great. Great reaction!
Oh, yeah, he's totally gotta do "Treat Her Right"---a THOUSAND thumbs, up!!!
No dancers, no twerking, no fireworks, no autotune, just a guy with a 1967 mic standing and singing. You don't see talent and voice like that these days.
His delivery was always pure and looked effortless.
Sir Tom Jones is a Legend.
And you can understand the words. Top music.
Postmodern jukebox has signed a lot of talent. Why doesn't the music industry? Why? Because they want mediocrity to be mainstream.
If you want to see talent like this today, just watch Sir Tom Jones singing on The Voice UK where he is a judge. Search on RUclips for Sir Tom singing. He still has the perfect pitch voice he ever had!!😮😅
Ummm… Michael Bublé
Sir Tom Jones will be 84 in June. Let me tell you from experience, this man has still got it. He is The Voice!
He had his own TV show around 1970 and there is an amazing clip of him with Stevie Wonder where the two of them are doing a medley of their biggest hits together as a duet and trading vocals. It is very high energy and totally amazing!
The one with Wilson Pickett is amazing too
I agree!! ruclips.net/video/SEKmiYQTJsQ/видео.htmlsi=v7hRwccPHmkq9gbX
Tom is still the GOAT in his 80's. He had his own TV show, you need to watch the medley he did live with Wilson Pickett. EPIC! You can see the mutual affection and respect between them and you can tell they're just having a great time together.
Tom is still amazing & touring & sounding just like this at the age of 83. He is a Welsh singer & a GOAT for sure. He has another couple of favorites that aren't as 'sappy' LOL. 'Delilah'(twist ending) & 'What's new Pussycat?'. Talented man & still a lady killer,
My favorite Tom Jones hit is "She's a Lady". i recommend an early live version.
My mom would have been the first to throw her panties! I grew up listening to his music. She adored him.
MINE TOO! She went to a lot of his concerts, was completely in luv with him...i get why now. :)
Now you need to pull up a video of him singing this song now in his 80's. It is still amazing
He's in his 80s and still sounds INCREDIBLE ❤❤❤❤
Tom Jones is touring Australia now. I went to his concert 3 days ago. He still has his golden voice. One of the best singers ever!!
He sang with all the great singers such a powerful voice. Cheers 🇬🇧
After hearing him again after all these years I conclude that he's the best male singer of all time. He actually sings.
Saw him in 2023 in Niagara Falls Canada. He still sounds great. Legend
Tom Jones with the Art Of Noise/Kiss. This is a Prince cover😮😊!
Sir Tom Jones was out here in Australia over Easter.
He is a Legend. His voice is strong, beautiful pure and his delivery is effortless.
I've seen him in concert twice and he is fantastic. Very charismatic.
Please react to Tom singing "The Green, Green Grass of Home".
Check out Tom with Jennifer Hudson the Voice uk "Man's World".......he still has it!!!
My Dad suggests you find Tom's cover of "Let it Be Me" and let people know what affect you believe it had on women.
The son of the man who wrote that song, was on the Voice U.K. and Tom turned his chair for him and they ended singing this song together. Tom was over 80 and sounded amazing.
Tom Jones is the MAN
This song was written by singer/songwriter Lonnie Donegan. It was a big hit for Sir Tom. Tom is one of 4 coach/judges on The Voice (UK). His voice is still fabulous. A few years ago there was an audition by a singer/songwriter named Peter Donovan ( Lonnie's son). After his audition, when Tom found out who he was, Tom and Peter did a duet of Lonnie's song, "I'll Never Fall In Love Again". Please react to the entire video.
Also please react to Tom and Jennifer Hudson ( video from The Voice (UK)) doing an impromptu duet to James Brown's song, " It's A Man's World". Another great moment on thebshow. You won't be disappointed by either.
If you haven't reacted to any other Jennifer Hudson songs I'd like to suggest you listen to this one from the movie Dream Girls: "And I'm Telling You/I'm Not Going" ( video....and yes, , she's singing it to Jamie Fox)
So glad you reacted and appreciated this song and Sir Tom. My favorite song of his is “I Who Have Nothing “. Very emotional and I think you would enjoy it
I reacted to this one too ruclips.net/video/zQgi-fmHEwg/видео.htmlsi=6tM8YGpKdtkomauO
@@ABtheKreator fantastic. Love your reaction
A velvet voice and still can sang!!
The still great Sir Tom Jones is still singing.
He's currently in New Zealand doing his thang...
ワォ〜ありがとう❤彼は偉大なるエンターテイナーです♪
日本からありがとうございます🎉
Tom Jones is one of many Welsh heroes that we as Welsh people utterly revere, going back 2000 years B.C. Follwed by the Irish and then the Scottish. Each of the aforesaid is documented in history. I was born in the U.K. And I'm Welsh through and through. Americans in the main when asked. always refer to my homeland as England OR English. NOTHING could be further from the actual truth
Now you know why he is called simply Jones the Voice in Wales
.!!🏴
He's a legend! That voice...perfection. All the ladies loved Tom Jones. All that talent and good looks. He was it!!! He's still around and looking great.
In 1969 I had the privilege of seeing him in person at the Greek theater in Los Angeles! It was an hour and a half long and the place was packed and nobody sat down nobody! And you can’t say standing ovation because everybody was standing all the timeone of the greatest concerts I have ever seen and I’ve seen a lot😊❤❤❤❤
The Voice UK TV program singing "Cry to Me". Very powerful voice still at age 84.
Theres a RUclips video where Tom Jones was a Judge on the UK The Voice and the guy who cowrote and played guitar on this song sang this same song with the guy's son who auditioned and made it on Toms team.
I went to see Tom Jones June 6 2024 in Chepstow🏴 he is 84 and sounds the same now ,what a show we had fantastic there is no one like him on this earth he is a performer And magical .
And hes one of the very few who can still sing!!!!! True talent❤
My favorite by him. Its beautiful
ELVIS COVERED THIS SONG TOO U SHOULD REACT TO THAT HIM AND TOM JONES WERE VERY GOOD FRIENDS!
One of the great live performances
Great reaction to an awesome voice. Grew up listening to him (via my mother). He made you believe every word he sang, even to a young teen.
tom is a judge on the voice uk and sings with the other 3 judges at the beginning of the series and breaks into song as do the other judges when the audience pleads.he's done it's a mans world with help from jennifer hudson.
lonnie donegan a skifel singer wrote this a few yrs back his son peter auditioned.tom did a duet of this with peter.it was emotional cause lonnie had passed and toms wife of 60yrs had passed i think the prev yr.you can see tom welling up.
the voice uk has it's own channel on here.
If you're wondering if he can still sing, you need to check him out on The Voice UK. He's a judge on the show, but they have him sing a lot. Sometimes he's just sitting in his chair and will belt out a old 50s song like you wouldn't believe. Another time he sang a new song which he said it wasn't written for his late wife but when he heard it he had to record it because it soundrd so much like when he lost her to cancer. Everybody else on the panel was in tears as he sang it. I ke Treat Her Right, Delilah, Green Green Grass of Home. I love almost anything he ever did.
It's about the raw emotion. Tom makes you FEEL that heartbreak.
Green Green Grass of Home a good old tune
Tom Jones had a TV show back in the 70's My Grandmother liked him and I took her and her friend to a concert. They loved it!
I love it when you react to Tom! And thanks for speaking a bit about his career. I’ve seen him 4 times and each time he blew me away. So much talent and the best voice ever. If you really want to be blown away, check out his “I who have nothing”.
Still a powerful and appealing singer. I love this song!! Treat Her Right on your play list please😂
Fun fact: the son of the guy who wrote this song was a contestant on The Voice UK, and Tom turned his chair for him, and then they sang this song together! You can search for this song and Tom jones and Voice UK and it will come up!
That's what you call a powerhouse ❤
I sat 2 rows from him at a concert in Houston in the 70s. Blew my skirt up!!!!!!
1967,no auto tune,no effects just a magnificent voice.
He is 82 now, and still sounds the same. Amazing singer
Legend ❤
Watch the video of him and Tanya Tucker singing, "Help Me Make It Through the Night."
Chemistry is obvious in this one!😅
I saw him live at a small venue in the early 70's. He sounded just as good!
Still awestruck by his voice ❤
Tom Jones is a judge on the UK version of 'The Voice' and he sang this with the son of the composer who wrote this song whose name was Lonnie Donegan, a singer in his own right. He still sounds much the same at the age of 80+. Another great Welsh singer is Shirley Bassey who sang 3 James Bond themes. You should listen to 'Goldfinger' and 'Diamonds are Forever'. She also sounds much the same at the age of 85+.
When they put out shows called "the Voice' .. i thought this was the kind of talent they were looking for.. but if they found it.. it hasn't made it to fame .. which is a real shame for all of us everywhere.
He and Elvis were best friends!!! Elvis called him "The Voice"---and, now, ironically, he's a coach on "The Voice", in the U.K.!!!
My favorite song of his, is "Without Love"....

Sir Tom Jones did this song on the Voice UK with the Son , who wrote this song he was also a famous singer.
Written by Lonnie Donegan, a great Skiffle artist in UK - there's a vid with him singing with Lonnie's Song on The Voice.
Treat her right is a great one
I love Sir Tom. I’m so glad I grew up when music was real music … with the likes of Elvis and Sir Tom. He is a coach on The Voice UK. Check out some of his songs on The Voice. Fun fact … the son of the man (Lonnie Donegan) who wrote this song was a contestant on The Voice. THAT was a powerful audition! Great reaction, AB! Much love ❤️

"Thunderball" featured on a James Bond movie is one of his best .He also is on the Voice as a judge and mentor
That wonderful sound I love you. It's a beautiful song.
He still has that beautiful voice he is on the British version of the voice
And he still sounds great today - check out some impromptu songs from Sir Tom on The Voice UK.
I love watching your face during these reactions, you crack me up.😂😂😂
Hey Missou!! I was born and raised in Columbia. And… I saw Tom Jones in concert at Missou! And yes, women were throwing their undies onto the stage (he was famous for that)
He sings on the Voice at 80 yrs old!!
This is my favorite Tom song♥️
Yup all that sexiness wasn’t just on stage. He probably should be in Guinness Book!
Tom was the best and his hip action was too
He's definitely in the PDC with Elvis and a few others. 😉
Again..he isn't called the Welsh Wailer for nothing.
What's New Pussycat? if you find the right version (not in a suit) will show you why women went nuts for him. 😂
Try I Know. Absolutely fantastic. Knock your socks off.x
He still sing like that today at 83 years old
He does a real nice job with Cry To Me...
Tom Jones voice at 81 ! ruclips.net/user/shortsavOAkyw1NtA

#IllNeverFallInLoveAgain
The crooner.. perfect !...
Full orange juice music...
You say you've already heard Delilah..that is actually the 3rd song for a trifecta..this song should have been the first...to complete the trio your next choice for Sir Tom should be
💥...I Who Have Nothing...
Early music was talent..not someone made to sound talented...
Thank you for reacting to this marvelous voice...🌿🌿🌿
This is perfection!
Love this song❤
He says to her, "I can't take it anymore" and "I mean it" but in the end he says "Please don't make me...". She can make him fall in love with her again and again. She's the only one....And he 'thought he knew the score'.🎸
Still out here in these streets.
Yep.
The man is mint
Elvis always my favorite and Tom is great also. They were friends
Tom Jones is currently a judge/mentor on The Voice in Great Britain.
My fav song of his
“Green Green Grass of Home” is awesome, but you have to find the right cut because the “snowflakes” had the original butchered because “feels”!!!
My number 1.
I remember feeling exactly like that song says. I had been to hell and back with 4 different men Married to 3 of them. It was just a nightmare of men who hated everyone they met. including me after we were married. so I gave up! I was 47 yrs old with a son, and decided to never try again. then I met the husband I have now. and he's my love.
And his voice is still the same and powerful as it was in his youth.
In the 1970s I dragged my husband to a Tom Jones concert. He walked out a fan.
Great reaction as always!!!
❤❤
I who have nothing is my fave!
❤
That's tough, bro
😂😂😂😂
I met a guy who had only heard Tom Jones and thought he was black. So soulful.
Check out The Voice UK, where he's a judge and frequently performs his classics. This clip in particular, the contestant's dad wrote the song I'LL NEVER FALL IN LOVE AGAIN" for Tom Jones back in the 60's. The two perform it together. Pretty awesome. His voice is as good if not better. ruclips.net/video/bS5z-Nr3QhQ/видео.html
