Windseeker has been down a lot this year. I was terrified when I rode it.
Am Canadian, have been to wonderland easily 30-40 times in my 21 years of life, and only once, ONCE have I ever been on sledgehammer, I'd bet it has more downtime then uptime and Im wondering when they finally get rid of it.
I’ve the absolute worst luck on that ride. Every time I sit down and strap myself in, it breaks. And that’s about 10 times throughout five years
the second you go into the park go onto sledgehammer then it won’t die
sledgehammer was fully functional all through today lol
Leviathan just keeps hauling each and every year. I don't know how B&M designed this ride with such speed in mind, regardless of those huge elements that many of their hyper coasters have. This is such a speed machine, and keeps that speed really well. And that final airtime hill before the brakes, I don't know if the trims did activate, but the train flew over that hill omg, and of course it always flies over that massive first hill. Thank you for saying good things about Leviathan, because it really deserves more credit than it does :) If it wasn't for this, we wouldn't have Fury 325 or Orion.

@@TonyKimtheamusementparkfan the videos I watched were empty trains however it was the end of the day so the ride was much warmer so I don’t really know. All that matters is that it’s a good ride

Sledge Hammer (Bear Claw) is ALWAYS broken, I've gone to Wonderland a fair amount sometimes multiple days in a row and I think I've only ever gotten on that ride twice. Also BackLot (Italian Stunt Job) used to have the pause/fire/helicopter shooting at you but when they lost Paramount rights they renamed a bunch of rides and for some reason turned all that stuff off.
Vortex was definitely the surprise coaster of the day when I visited back in July. Such a great ride! It really is a shame that there aren't many of them left in operation. Eagle Fortress from Everland is probably one of the coasters I am most disappointed in having missed.

CW is my home park. Any day that Sledgehammer isn't breaking down is a day to be worried...something is definitely up.

Fun fact: Leviathan's first drop actually has sand inside of it, because of how loud the ride is. Because Canada's Wonderland is located in a residential area in Vaughan, many of the rides are very loud to nearby residents. And since Leviathan is right at the front of the park and in the parking lot, it can get loud and noisy. So the park actually cut the box spine on the first drop, and pretty much filled it entirely with sand, instead of the rails, which could cause a rougher ride, since the rail alignment would be off after re-welding it. Yukon Striker also has this, but that ride has sand already inserted in its rails when Clermont fabricated the track, so there's no issue there.
If you do a Leviathan review, maybe this could be a great thing to talk about, as like a nerdy kind of fact :)
This is a pretty common occurrence with newer B&M coasters, it isn’t really exclusive to CW.

Backlot Stunt Coaster used to have a fire effect! And they would spray water at you. The helicopter's propeller used to actually move (at one point it might have flown or appeared to be flying) but now it's completely still.
Loved the Tylenol ad. I always take two Advils 20 minutes before riding Desperado outside Vegas. It really does help.
I just rode Mako last week for my first time and I got off saying it’s no behemoth. You guys are mint for posting this was waiting for it. Send Nate this way I’ll show him some wood :)
The only thing bad about Dive Coasters: All the Immelmanns. Dive Loop > Immelmann.
Except Yukon Striker: first DIVE MACHINE with a 360 vertical loop.

18:11 First aid is super close to Leviathan, they have Advil, and they have sunscreen in a soap dispenser on the wall for anyone to use lol. I learned this yesterday 😎 They’re really awesome! ALSO I got myself a FAST LANE PLUS yesterday and rode 37 coaster rides, kept lapping the same bunch for the full day!!
Dragon Fire (I like the I in it better lol) is one of the better Arrow Dynamics custom loopers for sure. I always find it to be a great forceful ride that isn't that rough actually, especially in the back for some reason. I always find it to be pretty smooth in the back, and in the front maybe a little rough, but nothing to complain about.

I think the only thing dragon fyre is missing is more layout, the ride is like 30 seconds long from the drop to the first brake run and has 4 elements plus the helix. It almost feels like an early arrow looper prototype or something.
On leviathan when you show the airtime hill there is an airplane in the frame great shot.

behemoth is my favorite. it's a great, tall coaster, giving you lots of airtime (not as much as leviathan though lol) and it's the only one i can let go of the handlebars, even a bit.
both leviathan and behemoth are incredibly smooth and run wonderfully. neither are rough.
vortex is also great, though a little rough in the middle and back.

Rode minebuster in July 2021, 10 years after my last ride on it, to see if it still sucked even after the 2018 retracking. It was WORSE by a long shot. Before was rough but I rode it twice. This time was so bad.

It's funny, Ryan, you and Theme Park Worldwide were at the park last year, not the same time, and while they dumped a steaming pile of Time Warp on the park, you guys (rightfully) praised it. Oh, and last year was THE BEST Vortex ever ran. It's always been relentless, but it stepped the fuck up last year. Enjoyed it more than Behemoth, and Behemoth is my favourite ride at the park.
Ay I know this vid is 3 years old but I'm here to say that I just rode Time Warp yesterday and it is such a good damn ride. The whole thing is so weird with the lift thingy and the flying cage cars and stuff but it is fucking hilarious to be on. A little rough yeah but honestly that just makes it better. Time Warp is like a big silly puppy that tackles you at random, because it loves you❤
Really hope S&S still gives the park spare parts for Vortex, cause this is the best Arrow Dynamics suspended coaster of all time imo. Does S&S provide the parts, or does Canada's Wonderland produce their own parts for Vortex? I thought I heard they make their own parts but someone confirm.
