Good morning ladies. Thank you for doing Tuesday Newsday. I recently had a friend tell me she saw an embroidered quilt at a quilt show that had crayon colored base squares. She said it was lovely. Looked like watercolor. I thought it may be a new idea for Christmas quilt to do a tutorial on. Thanks so much for all your hard work.
Thank you for this nice funny Newsday, you both made a really good job. You made me laugh about the number of Christmas trees you set up. I decorat ALL our rooms for Christmas but we have only one tree. I have three very different sets of tree decoration, first wooden ornaments with straw stars, seconde a lot of yearly porcelain bells, balls and others from Hutschenreuther, a factory here in Germany, together with red balls and last but not least a large mix of red and gold ornaments. Did anyone ever visited the little village Lauscha in Thüringen where they traditional made all the glass ornaments? That's the place it all begann and it's a great place to go to shop Christmas stuff all over the year and also to take classes how to decorat the most beautiful tree.
You ladies gave us the best ideas for gift giving! You are such a fun team and I feel like I am right there with you both and Annie and sharing all your fun stories about decorating. I have been busy making Christmas throws and pillows for the upcoming celebrations.

I plan all kinds of decorating in my mind but when it comes to actually putting them out, it's not very elaborate. I love all the gift ideas especially the gorgeous embroidery tin and the Jenny Toolbox! I bought a set of ceramic button coasters from MSQC years ago and I still have people asking where I got them. I'm sure they were a daily deal. I would love to see them again.
You ladies did a great job!! When my 3 kids were growing up, there was a tree in every room BUT the master bedroom (hubs put his foot down on that one!). I even tied red velvet ribbons on the toilet flusher handle. I'd get kidded about that by men...but women thought it was a GREAT idea!

I’m with Misty! I love Christmas we have one 9’ tree in our family room! In our front window, we have a 7’ tree and two 4’ trees! My kids call it my forest! We have one 9’ tree in my basement with three alpine trees 6’, 4’ and 2’. I also have three alpine trees in my dining room 6’, 4’ and 2’. All of the trees except the family room have a theme. We have one with all Starbucks, sewing related, Pandora ornaments, White House ornaments, vintage ornaments and the main tree has all of our family ornaments!That’s all for the inside but we do also put up a lot of decorations outside! One of my friends said she flat like she walked into the North Pole! I may have to get the village houses to add to my already large Christmas village!❤

I’m retired and don’t complete as many sewing projects as you all-I know you have sewing projects as part of your tasks, do you also sew in your “free time” Notice it’s in quotes! I know you have families s and I remember how busy my days were then; now I wonder how I did it all while working full time. Just in case you want to share your endless energy!
